That announcement is just a very small attempt to placate the mob from rioting. They will continue to manipulate the game economy to maximize revenue. It won’t end until there is a dramatic decrease in revenue from their most profitable racers (top 10% spenders). I doubt this shootout format will last, this entire game is designed for one thing and one thing only, coiners. We gave Hutch multiple ways to fix h2h, but of course they ignored us and just went their own random way that won’t work in the long run.

Thanks very much. I love the idea of no tickets, but many of your players like buying tickets. If we could have separate h2h, one with tickets and one without, or just increase the rewards for 19th and 39th brackets that would help a lot.

The main issues many of us have is thst we spend a day and half planning and executing a good plan for our h2h. We use every ticket, we plan our day to get every single ad run in, and we are doing well. Then in the last hour a player with zero points and hasn’t even put in 1 minute of work compared to our day and a half of hard work, just buys tickets and kicks us out of the top 9. They didn’t work harder, they didn’t have a better strategy, they didn’t race faster. But they got top 9 and made us lose a significant amount of gold by even entering.

1. We keep h2h exactly as they are now with just these two changes…
2. Bought ticket take zero points from the raced ghost, regular tickets take normal points. So bought tickets take zero points from the opponent ghost but they still give the same positive points to the ticket buyer.
3. Rewards for the 19th and 39th brackets are slightly adjusted, since this is where all non ticket buyers end up, so that there isn’t such a significant gold loss by entering. Also 39th has some gold keys not just silver.

Bought tickets should only earn half the points. This would be a very targeted price increase on spenders rather than on everyone the way Hutch does now. Over time, Hutch can reduce the value of the points of bought tickets to continue to provide price inflation on spenders until they optimize the value and price For the game economy.

One way to not be offeded by ticket buyers is to run faster than they do. You don’t lose a race to them, but they spend lots of money to be in the top 5. It is also fun to watch ticket buyers try to beat your time (and sometimes succeed) after spending who knows how much gold on re-races to win by a couple thousanths of a second. Even with ticket buyers you should be able to execute a strategy to finish in the top 9 if you want to spend the time to do so.

Do the same with re-race tickets - only worth half the points if you win on a re-race. Everyone is very quiet about how much re-racing goes on with those attempting to be the fastest racers (and probably others) among the big spenders. This is another good source of income for Hutch that they can work on to maximize from spenders. That will also help with the ”shoot out” as the spenders are going to switch from buying tickets to re-racing until they have a perfect run (or at least one that gives them what they hope to be a great time) to make every ticket count.
