Two weeks is a short time. Basically use all your gas everyday, save your cars, keys, and gold for later. When you beat the S boss you can decide if you want to keep playing and put some money into the game. Check out the faq and tips and tricks channels here. It takes time to get new cars, then you can start doing car specific events. Unless you want to throw money at the game.

Your max gas inventory goes from 8 to 10. Only worth it if you plan on spending money on the game and you can’t use your gas every 96 minutes. It also fills up your gas, but that’s just a one time thing.

The thing to keep in mind with the Custom Ruf is that it will be a new car. Hutch has apparently decided that every new car will be slow and suck. They are so afraid of starting an escalation of introducing better and better cars that they went the opposite direction and are making sure every new car is slow. That is my assumption with the new Ruf. They slowed it down intentionally because they are very afraid of the long term consequences of introducing a fast car.

1. We try to have cars match real world performance mapped to our performance

2. With the number of cars we’re adding we can’t just keep making the next one faster because the game would break.

There is a huge difference between making it the fastest, which I have never requested nor expected, and intentionally setting all new cars at or near the bottom of the barrel which what you have done. Every Porsche introduced thus far has been at or near the bottom in the tier. They don’t have to be the fastest, but when you choose to make the Grand Prize Car slower than the free cash C car, and basically the slowest in the whole tier, are we supposed to be happy about that?

The stats in the game are the stats the cars are setup with but there are lots and lots of factors that affect the simulation

Suspension distances and tolerances, distance between the wheels etc. It’s all a real-time physics simulation

I understand you want to make the game harder, and I’m not disputing that, but not listening when literally every player tells you the same thing is frustrating. Increasing the inventory wouldn’t cost you much at all. Resource gold buyers will do it regardless. But keeping it artificially low just angers the other 95%.

I really don’t think players understand what Hutch is doing with resources. They have increased many requirements by 500%. You currently need 1 resource, you will need 5 to do a single upgrade. I’ve started recording it, so far it’s not even close to that, which would of course be a regulatory issue but it’s early on yet. There is no pity timer in the resource drops. They aren't personalised at all. Each time you race the chance of something dropping is the % given, regardless of how many races already run.

Yeah I really enjoy the game. I enjoy the different vehicle dynamics on the different courses. The developers have done a phenomenal job in so many ways. A diabolically addictive game! When you could no longer fuse cash cars and resources can only be bought with gold now—for me that was the beginning of the end. It would take a very short time to implement a few changes to make players happier. The ama was only done in a response to a proposed boycott by the top 7 clubs. I’m saying I’m not sure what the point was from Hutch’s point of view. All they did was show everyone they have no interest in anyone’s requests.

It is just a way of Hutch engaging with its players and update them what is coming in future updates really. They broke the economy, they did that on purpose. We can’t use cash because they chose to change the game. Virtually everyone here wants to use their cash for something. They refuse. They chose to increase resource requirements by hundreds of percent then raise the inventory cap by an insulting 2. But this entire Discord consists of newer players saying the game economy is currently broken so badly that the game might not be worth playing vs. senior players who’s accounts are worth thousands saying it’s fine. Hutch needs to realize that this game will not survive without players like me, they won’t profit on free to play who have been around awhile. Listen to those of us paying money or forget about generating an acceptable profit margin.

I’ll be Captain Obvious for a moment: Hutch can and will do what they want and what they feel is in their best interest. Players will come and go. Time will tell whether the players such as myself that spend hundreds of dollars will be replaced in sufficient numbers by players who decide to take on the steep uphill climb required of newbies that want to be competitive.

I will leave sooner under this new structure than I would have under the old. And I do not think I would have become a paying player if I started under these newer restrictions. Too steep of a hill to climb to even hope to be competitive in any tier.

If you wanted to test the data for yourself you’d probably want to look at a Chi-Square test but I don’t have what I need here to say how many samples you would want.

I believe they went a bit too far in some others that need to be fixed. They have gone too far with resource requirements in the next update but we need that to go live for all players to get upset about it.

I haven't played a lot of other similar games, but is it normal to have this many "in-game currencies" in these sorts of games? To actually progress in the game, the currencies you need are: in-game cash, gold, keys, fusion points, and cars themselves. 5 different currencies are continually needed to "purchase" your progression through the game, each controlled in a way that ultimately generates real-world money for them. 5 seems like a lot compared to other games I've played. 2 or 3 is normal in my experience, but my experience is pretty limited...

I haven’t paid gold because it would do nothing for me until I get enough fusion points for stage 6 fuse (many months waiting for an opportunity to get Bugatti (and McLaren) fuse points). Anyway in all of that time waiting for fuse point opportunities haven’t gotten a single stage 5 resource needed for the Bugatti. It stopped being funny a few months ago. Just kidding.
