It's not rigged, it's how the game works. You can't expect to finish a ladder without upgrades. If you can't even get past rung 2 you're in deep trouble. You're also going to need fuse the truck later just to move on. Unless you're good at tilt you're going to at least need all S5 upgrades.

Also you are not racing bots with stock truck they are single fused and upgraded same as yours. This particular ladder is one of the few which had higher difficulty level compared to other ladders in general.

The Merc off-road is a bit harder than most. When you start getting close to the same PP as the bots then sometimes it takes a few goes to find the best route through them and give a nudge to the main opponent at just the right time to get the better of them.

I honestly can’t understand why they haven’t done an RR2, I know it would be quite popular. Just add in game chat, slow down the rollout of new cars so people have a reason to keep playing, fix any big bugs.

They could keep the game quite similar, it wouldn’t take that much work. But I guess it goes back to the fact they didn’t create it so I don’t think they know how to recreate a second one.

As for Ian, the game went straight downhill when he got assigned to another game. I didn’t agree with him on some things, but he’s the one who listened and improved things.

I never shut up about Rebel Racing in meetings, and how great it looks and feels.

I’ll keep wearing them down 😂

I’m currently working on the possibility of a Discord integration with games to manage a chat feature.

If it happens, it will possibly come to Rebel as a test bed.

Lots of possibly, if and maybes there, but it would hopefully be a simpler chat integration than building out our own.

For some reason the vast majority of RR players don’t use discord. We have literally no way to communicate with thousands of players.

If we could talk to them, in the game where they don’t need to sign up for anything extra, we can talk them into joining active clubs. That makes most players play much more, and some spend a lot more.

Many games have in game chat, it’s not great or terribly useful, but it’s absolutely necessary to talk to players to explain how they can get in a good club and join the private club discord for help progressing in the game.

It avoids using cars that you have improved and even already merged, to merge another car. And to have to rebuild a second time your car. As the game is looping, they will serve you sooner or later and even for the requirements of the Pass. But that's just a piece of advice, from a player who has already had it happen. 😵‍💫🤣

They could breathe a little life into this game with minimal effort, and maybe attract new customers, if they fix the club system. You cannot get into a club with any chance of winning a prize car. Even if they don’t add any new cars, for people who like to collect things, you can’t get all the cars. An easy fix for the developers that might give them a little more revenue.

Can one of the devs answer a question I have: Do resources drop more on certain tiers, off-road, T&L, from hour to hour? Or is it based on beating my best time on the Tier/track?

It seems that sometimes while racing, Tier A for example, I will get 3 to 4 resources for every 6 to 7 races. But if I race Tier C, for example, I will get none in the same hour. It doesn’t seem random…😅

It’s just random. You can see the actual % numbers for each tier in Garage-Resources then click on an individual resource.

People have tested it in the past, but it takes a long time to actually see the % numbers average out. Tier S is your best bet, give good resources and the most cash. You need a ridiculous amount of cash for fusing all cars.

You aren’t playing correctly if you are out of gold. But assuming you can finish the whole ladder, the McLaren is better with the S aug in there.
