It doesn’t seem likely that Hutch will bring anything new to the game. If they had any plans for the future they would say so to keep players from leaving. I’d say their only hope after all their glitches in RR is to bring out RR#2 without so many bugs.

Let's start with I'm not trying to start an argument nor a debate. Every game has an end life and Rebel Racing is at that point. Hutch is just milking it for all its worth with the recycled, continuous seasons that are on autopilot. They've obviously pulled the majority of their resources off of RR to other games. It's a business decision on their part to put little into it now and to get what they can out of it until it's time to pull the plug. It's nothing personal to you or any customer, it's the cold hard reality of business. Call good or bad, it depends on which side of you're on. So there will be little to no improvements or fixes made and no new features will be added. Most everyone has come to terms with the reality of this. So they either continue to play with it as is or just quit. There are no other choices at this point. Also Hutch does not regularly monitoring Discord so ranting and lashing out at them is a waste of breath. Your warnings are via a bot or by moderators who are not employed by Hutch.

In my opinion the game is now functioning in a manner where players don't have to play like an addict anymore. We can play casually. At least those of us with most of the cars. It's how a mobile game is supposed to be played

For me, I'm still playing like an addict. But I'm about to put All S6 on a GT for the first time. Need the cash and then I will completely abandon doing easy money. Just play the H2H I like and the ladders.

It's true that "the progress is a whole lot slower". But we have to notice that it's not necessary to upgrade all parts of a car to be top 9, top 5 even top 3 in some competitions, if you know about what ranking works in this game. We could find that some top 5, top 3 players' cars are not necessary fused to full stars and run fast enough other than paying to win. It gives room to players not to upgrade with heavy resources but concentrate more on how to rank up. So, I think there are a good balance even if you are new with not so much resources. Surely there are many elements to rank up, upgrading car is essential but not critical. Racing skills, pool of players, time control share the result of ranking.

I agree that RR is not cheap compared to other racing game (now seems cheaper than before). I spent real money to buy cars and gold. Yet we have to be patient too to collect cars and resources. Old players experienced this slow progress. And such progress may last for 1 to 2 years ; )

If upgrading is the only way to win, then this is really a p2w game. Anyone use real money to fully upgrade their car, anyone would be the winner. If RR is designed in this way, this is too simple and no fun at all.

All players have limited resources. One important point is that how we distribute resources to upgrade selected cars in advantage to maximise our chance to win in selected competition and pile up keys and golds rewards for advance. Some cars need to be upgraded more while some upgraded less are sufficient to be competitive. This is determined by the class of competition and the structure of pool of players.

Car upgrading in this game is not only for the reason to running fast but also for higher chance to match with weaker opponents. If one car is upgrade enough to be competitive, it would be much more easy to win and rank up easily. Nonetheless, it is not necessary to always fully upgrade all cars. It is also not necessily to spend too much real money to upgrade and play, though this is not cheap indeed. If we feel hard to upgrade a car to be competitive, just ignore those competitions. I do not encourage to spend real money to upgrade too much.

I agree that RR is a very resource demanding game and pushs players to pay more to win. This is a profit making company's policy and we can't change. Here are just my sharing of how to play RR in very limited resources and least paying to get better result for reference. There are not necessary to have pressure in upgrading car in a rush and it's possible to play with "incompleted upgrading" cars to get satisfactory result. There are some reasons why some players always in top 9 other than paying. Hope you find the way you feel comfort to play. Enjoy 👍

-20 is the way to go but they just can't fix the bugs so they chose the easy option to reduce it to -10.

Top work. Do we think the speed of the car is determined by the PP or the individual elements? It is interesting that the Lamborghini Sian, for example, has the same or better individual elements as the SCG003S and yet a far lower PP.

Yeah, it's a shame that the drag and weight numbers are not also available as they affect the pp also. There may even be other numbers too! The Sian / Elemento seem to be the fastest when maxed out (not that either of mine are anywhere near!)

Worth noting that double fusing lowers some of the numbers actually making the car slower for the 991 and Elemento (only ones I've tested on) My 991 was approx 0.5s slower after the second fuse with stg5!! I did one s6 on the Elemento to recover the one that dropped! Can't afford any more though!

Nothing unfortunately... Crates are working that way. It depends on luck. People would not recommend someone to open a crate unless that person have the guaranteed number of crate on his inventory. Getting the Aventador can take 100 keys (for the luckiest) to 1000 for the worst scenario (guaranteed within 10 crates)

The appeal of the game to many players are the short races. To progress in the game you need to do a large number of easy money races everyday. Doing 100 races everyday makes you appreciate short tracks. It’s actually quite hard to master every track correctly. Tracks and Laps are much longer, I think that shows up after you beat S tier.

You are about three years too late. This discord was very busy, a lot of posts everyday. Then they replaced the person who ran it and all the subsequent decisions made players quit. Now the game is no longer being developed, it is just old events being replayed on a loop. So there really isn’t anything to talk about with no new content.

They don’t give things except in the Competitions channel. It’s just luck to get an S car from a gold key crate. I’d say your only real chance at the K1 is to wait until they have an event for it. Then they should put a special crate for it, but you may need 1000 gold keys to guarantee getting it. Also the Jesko is better than the K1 in the game.

I don't need to see the pics. I was just curious because early on the game was VERY easy to progress through and VERY much free to play. Because of that it was more entertaining and it built up a large player base.

From what it looks like you've never really played the game. The game was actually very good for 2/3 or so of its life when Hutch was still investing in it. For example added off-road, Mini tracks, T&L, all the variety of cars, and of course clubs with season play. Maybe none of that interested you since it doesn't look like you participated in any of it. So I don't get why you even stuck around just to run dailies vs. just deleting the game. The game now for the real veteran players is boring and redundant because it's on cruise control with no new content.

Unfortunately nothing in the world is totally free and Hutch, anyone for that matter, can't exist without someone paying the bills. The game was interesting enough for quite awhile where spending some money wasn't a big deal for many. Hutch eventually took it too far. Like I said early on the game was closer to free to play and many took advantage of that. Some people have been completely f2p but invested a lot time into the game. Myself I've not spent any money on the game all year and am living off of what I've accumulated in the past. Sticking around out of spite for over 3 years make little sense but to each their own. I hope there are other games out their you enjoy more than Rebel Racing.

I liked the idea rebel racing had of this 'drift' racing over short tracks with high quality car models and the game overall looks realy good.

And yeah I understand there has to be in game payments for devs to earn money and keep developing the game, but what I dont understand is why huge chunks of content has to be paid for only.

Like I understand the whole 'pay to win' thing where paying real money gives you better stuff but the option for free play should always be there in my opinion.

There is no need to fuse a car anytime soon. Just worry about upgrading your car just enough to beat the next boss. None of the cars the game gives you are very good. You want to win the S car as soon as possible, it pays out way more cash in easy money. After you have the S car you can start thinking of other cars to fuse. Save all your gold keys for later in the game.

Is there any reason Not to bring back booster crates?

Most of us have nowhere to spend silver or gold keys. Why not bring back booster crates and change the Aug manufacturer each week or two? We can cycle through all the manufacturers in the game.

New players can get cars but it’s impossible for them to get augs without booster crates which means they can never catch up which doesn’t seem fair.

Is it fair a requirement to double fuse a ford gt.. requiring 3600+4800 worth of fodder i.e., 7 tier s cars, which is somewhat equal to 7x5 gold crates (average, because not all gold crates yield tier s cars). I think its too much a demand for one gt ladder, not a worth ladder for 200 gold keys and one tier s augment
