Best advice is never ever sell any cars. Use the Lock button to lock one of each car, then you can use duplicates (when you get them) as fodder for fusing your locked cars.

You can't sell cars because, as Chris has said, they're the last cars of their respective tier you currently have. (Certain type of cars can't be sold, like IAP and prize (club, rebel pass, collector) car. By the way there's no reason to sell cars in this game.

There is a lock icon in garage, you can turn it on or off for each car. I suggest locking one of each car so you don’t accidentally sell or fodder your good one.

You can also filter your garage by locked and unlocked. That’s an easy way to make sure all your good cars are locked.

No. You should only fuse new cars to get all the rewards from a ladder, or focus on the best cars in a tier. Get and max the Camaro custom for the daily D h2h. If you can’t get it then the BRZ is not a bad choice, as well as the regular Camaro but that cost gold. None of the cars the game gives you when you beat a boss are worth upgrading much.

This is exactly what Hutch wants to see and exactly why they’ve kept launching new S and GT vehicles. They want to drain players of their resources, so that they force players into spending gold coins e.g. real cash

With the new points scoring in H2H, there may be less ticket spending happening. So they need to encourage more spending in a different way e.g. more upgrading of vehicles and more resource hungry vehicles.

I'm convinvced now that the new matching is designed to give you harder and harder opponents as the event goes on to force you to upgrade. I thought at first it was giving matches very close to you so that the table sort of ended up blanaced with the fastest on top, which is fine and would work well where everyone is maxed out. But if you sandbag and balance your times you can then go through the whole race taking the right option every time.
I barely made 19th on the second T&L racing flat out with tilt as the right option was impossible, I was double fused with 2 stg5 and I know for a fact there were slower people around me that would have been more suitable. Controlling my times in the shootout I came 3rd!

I had exactly the same thoughts at first and I was happy with it. I target top 19 in H2H comps and I mostly achieve it. But you are right, if you race at full speed from the start and don’t control your times you end with three impossible choices who are all faster than you. There are a few ways to survive in this game

1. Spends lots of money, fully upgrade cars, buy race ticket refills.
2. Become a good tilt racer, like yourself, which gives you an edge over arrow racers like myself.
3. Play tactics such as controlling your times. This is what I do as I don’t have the disposable income for option 1 and as much as I have tried tilt racing I can only do it on the easy tracks. 😂😂

Porsche Spyder, Huracan, and P1 are all pretty close. In my testing the Huracan was the fastest overall, but not by a wide margin. Those tests were done with no augs for a fair comparison. However, McLaren S augs are almost impossible to get so for me that makes all McLaren cars in the game irrelevant. The availability comparison of McLaren augs vs. Porsche or Lambo is ridiculous.

My Huracan with all S augs and only on S5 smokes my maxed McLaren with its mediocre augs. Like Zod said, McLaren augs are hard to come by. I maxed the McLaren a long time ago before the Lambos came out and haven't gotten enough S6 to max the Huracan yet.

I have decent, but not great augments for my P1, Spyder and Huracan. Pretty much the same for all three. Maybe a bit better for the Porsche.

I’ll probably never max the 6s on any of my A, S, or GT cars. I certainly can’t afford to buy them.

My Spyder has 1 S and 17 As.

That’s what I didn’t like about them, they are just a huge waste of time to get a couple silver keys. The only purpose of the 6 hour events was to drain players gold coins and make them work like slaves 24 hours a day to get club points.

I don’t understand players who are low on gold coins. If you play everyday you get some keys and gold coins from the daily. Opening silver booster crates gives gold coins. Running out of gold keys is normal, running out of gold coins means the player is spending them when not necessary.

But yes, I agree low entry fee events have way better participation. It would be nice to come up with a way to get a lot more to enter events. Maybe premium events with high rewards and high entry, and ones with free or very low entry but lower rewards each day. There doesn’t seem to be a limit on simultaneous events, so an expensive and inexpensive version can be created for each event.

It would be good to have Tier D, C & B 6 hour events. The whole point of playing a game is to have fun. They could be run as low to medium cost events. But at the end of the day, there will be more participation and more players having fun. Without those two elements, there is no point to playing this game.

Agreed. I laid out a entire schedule for them to just copy awhile back. It had every tier and track to make it interesting over time. Just an easy repeating loop that included everything so we don’t get bored. I don’t think they even considered it.

If you don’t have a car worth upgrading right now then just save all your cash until you do. This is a ridiculously long term game, playing for a whole year is just a start lol. Cash fusion takes a lot of cash for higher tier cars, I could spend ten of millions in cash right now if I had it. Players here can tell you which cars are worth upgrading and fusing.

We had a free milestone for the car during the season, so we are not due a free ladder. This challenge ladder is a completely new type of event, we have never received 3 tier S augs in a ladder, so they are charging gold to enter and requiring double fusion. Personally I’m doing it, I think it’s a good deal.

This cannot be termed a good deal, usually events related to a new car are suppose to be free entry... its a good event if its a free entry with double fuse or paid entry with single fuse...

We already had the free event. This is a separate event that just happens to be this car. Since we already had a free one, it makes sense this one costs gold to enter. Tier S augs are the hardest thing to get in the game, I would recommend the event to anyone and I usually recommend against entering a lot of events.

This is an A car giving 3 tier S augs, that’s a good deal.

It depends on the bracket. Lotus had 6 bracket and we joined the 5th one. Only two people had S6 on, me and the number 1 guy. Everyone else had low upgrades so it was possible.

Nope, imho it’s not very good but with a few tweaks could work well. If you sandbag you will continue to get faster people as options regardless of where you are in the table.
I went full speed in a double fused GT and only got impossible options and just about finished 19th. I sandbagged the next race and finished 3rd!!

This is very interesting to know. In order to put up a very fast time you have to do a near perfect, flawless run. Doing so consistently is even harder.

I know for fact that I made an error or two during the recent shootouts that I had to wait 5 hours to correct and during that time I was not hit by anyone to my surprise. I just figured I got lucky with the timing but now it may be because my best time was used for opponents, not my most recent runs.

Opponents only seeing your best time is good.

What’s not good is getting your teammates all the time as opponents, and three impossible opponents too often.

We need to reduce, not eliminate, teammates as opponents, and make the algo slightly less harsh in picking three faster opponents so often.

You just have to memorize every track and opponent position lol, I have to try to guess where the opponents are sometimes. It’s definitely not slow, but doesn’t seem exceptionally fast either. I’ll have to wait until I do another fuse.

You are mistaken. RR may not be the perfect game still one of the best out there and developers are trying to improve it all the time. Mods and members are very helpful. Overall a nice racing experience.

I agree with your strategy..fusing make your car can't be used at all..but upgrading not doing that..so you can upgrade with peace of mind even in the middle of event..if you fused your car in the middle of event, you are in a big trouble..

I'll probably need to do one or two stg2 upgrades but that will be it. with a single fuse I'd have to do some stg3 and likely stg4 updates so double fusing saves all my stg3 and stg4 resources for another car. I won't be able to add any augs but that doesn't matter.

Best way to fuse cars is use 100 fuel everyday and save up your cash. Usually the fodder cars you get from opening new car crates are never enough. Unless you spend a huge amount of real money in the game, I’d never suggest using keys to get fodder cars.

Very close to the Macan, I’d like to test the Cayenne more but I can’t see the damn cars in easy money lol. It might be slightly better but I can’t confirm it until they fix the camera.

The Macan is still the fastest on all the B tracks other than 3.6. I haven’t seen anyone put up a known faster time on 3.6 with the Macan vs the Ruff. I have a maxed out Cayenne with 18 A augments and while the camera angle hurts the game play I don’t think it’s enough of a factor to be the biggest reason why it is slower than the Macan.

IRL the Macan IS faster than the Cayenne.

Like most companies which don’t perform how they should, it comes down to the culture, which is set at or near the top. If the wrong person / people are installed there, then the trickle down effect will be poor. If a company truly values it service / product it will invest and be proud of what’s it providing. Don’t pay money to Smash it’s not worth it. If you want to spend money get the Pro Pass and join a top 20 club. If you pay real money for another run, the 45 point ones you found in the first run will be highlighted. But again, it’s not worth paying for it.

Hutch says next season should start sometime in early February, sounds like they have not locked down a date yet.

But the bad news is they are going forward with zero break between seasons. Just an endless stream of non stop club seasons with no time for players to have a break, save up some cash, keys, and resources etc. We are back to Hutch doing the opposite of what their customers want.

Be prepared for some bugs at the start as they jam the seasons together.
