Howdy guys, I have a question regarding progression in the game. So I just unlocked the C tier part of the map, but I haven’t been able to complete the ladder challenge portion of the D tier section. I’m on 19/20 for this challenge, and I have my D tier car fully upgraded and all I can do to upgrade it further is fuse it with another car (which I do not have). Its pretty much impossible for me to beat this ladder stage, so do I just continue on with the C tier challenges and go from there until I get enough fodder cars to fuse my D tier car or how should I tackle this?

The campaign ladder don't disappear, so can be completed at later stage when you get better cars for the respective tiers. Until then just try to complete the campaign, beat bosses and reach tier S , afterwards you can unlock Mini , off road & Track &Laps section of the game.

@brittle sundial could you please tell me what the incentive is to get any of the new off road cars given there have been no generic off road events for around 9 months now? This has been raised many times by many players. Since the cash event were removed there has not been a single generic off road event (with the exception of the D shootouts) at all.
This needs to be addresses otherwise it's a pointless season really.

Also the generic T&L events seem to have dropped off which again is very dissapointing given the extreme expense of getting the cars.

Whilst not referred to in the patch notes, in week 4 we also have an offroad milestone megamix, which will be free (provided you own all three cars!). I've been told it'll be quite the challenge, so make sure you bring your A-game to that one 🙂

Booster crates containing multiple manufacturers are terrible, I’d suggest no one waste keys on them.

If Hutch wants players to open booster crates then make them one manufacturer only. There’s plenty of room on the shop page, it slides back and forth. Put as many manufacturer specific booster as necessary.

Thanks for the answer but you have to take into account what was said by @blissful flicker If Hutch doesn't offer the ability to use these cars more often it becomes an unnecessary expense and some players don't like to spend their keys. I had just said the same thing about the least capable SUV when it comes to going off-road. Hutch puts a Defender 90 on the road and then has a Cadillac SUV for off-road. Makes so sense and just goes to show Hutch no clue about off-roading.

That said expect the Escalade to be the fastest and get to work opening up the crates that have Cadillac augments where you have a .000000000000000002% chance of getting one because the Porsche/Ford/Chevy augments will be set at 99.999999999999%!

I wonder how much Hutch makes on re-races versus other means of generating revenue? I see more and more reports of people spending large amounts on re-races. With more players migrating to tilt, and trying to run fast I see more re-racing. Also, many people are freely admitting to how much they re-race in order to be one of the “best” racers. Seems similar to me as buying tickets, but just not as obvious. Players can spend their money the way they like, though, as that is the way the game is designed.

I recommend people NOT waste gold keys on any car crates, they represent very poor value. Use silver keys to open silver crates and you will get at least one of the C cars easily.

Notice the suspension going up and down? That's travel. Something the TRX has plenty of. Notice how smooth the body is vs the suspension? That's because the suspension is doing it's job and dampening the whoops.

Now compare the video above to how the TRX handles on the fairly smooth track 5.5, it is rough and the TRX acts as if it's riding on bricks. On track 5.7 the rear end is being tossed all over the place while in the water.

How Ram signed off on you using their truck that handles like a 20 year old no-travel beater 2WD truck amazes me.

You can get more crate/offer cars if you grind and save enough silver and gold keys. You should be aware that a company is facing a lot of expenses (office rent, staff salaries, office supplies, equipment purchase, ...) and therefore needs an income to make the business profitable and sustainable. Buying cars with real money is a free choice

May be ads income is not enough to make the game totally free to play. That being said, Hutch should listen to its customers feedback as serious player base tends to decrease over time

Why are bugs not fixed?
Why does the European server keep going down?
Why do you lose 20 for a forfeit instead of the normal points you would have lost?
Why can’t we get the same rewards in every tier as S so we don’t have get bored doing the same few tracks forever?
Why do they ruin the game by restricting augment availability to just a few cars?
Why do they structure h2h to punish going fast?
Why do they not understand vehicles at all and where they should be in the game, and relative performance?

But must be on a device that you (or whoever it is) has purchased the cars through their apple account and therefore they are restored. The iap cars are linked to the payment account, ie apple as well so they would be restored. Your apple account doesn’t know it’s a new RR account, only that you made iap on that application

Everyone I have spoken to agrees with you 1,000%. The Escalade is not an off road vehicle, it handles terribly in White Water, and infact in Valley Crossing, which is absolutely NOT an off road track, the Escalades high centre of gravity causing excessive body roll makes this track almost the worst, using Tilt or Arrows the result is the same. Pure disappointment.
Hopefully the Tatum Buggy will be the only vehicle that will save this season from being the worst season to date.
As lovers of cars (Ian has claimed) surely the developer can do better.

In the upcoming Cadillac event, it seems only the top 5 racers are rewarded with Fusion Keys.
Top 5 receive 44, 6th place and on receive a generous ZERO!
Therefore if you are new to the game, or don’t have a highly upgraded vehicle, or aren’t able to coin - you will find it difficult to advance your Fusion values. So the rich get richer, and the poor remain poorer. It’s a shame it can’t be more even and a better balance of rewards is offered.

Im on stage 19 of the tier D ladder and can't beat jasmine in the Firebird, my hp is 221 and the Firebird is 223 and it seems a massive difference in performance, just can't seem to catch the front 3.

What track is it? Often chosing where to use nitro to catch and hit them works well .... It may be that you'll need to fuse it, I seem to recall you have to on some of the ladders, I don't remember which ones though!

This has always happened with 'up and coming' vehicles in the challenges. No big deal, most seasoned player will finish the RP around the end of 2nd week/ start of 3rd.

I agree, but as I keep saying on this site, this is supposed to be a premium game. Hutch is happy to take the £££, but does not appear to be delivering on the ‘premium’ element. The European server issue is another prime example.

One thing I do like (which seems to be new) is the introduction of more tier C (sliver crate) events during the season, which can earn (a small amount of) points e.g the Mitsubishi and the Mustang GT.

Also the marathon D & C milestone events.

They’re fairly inexpensive to enter and allows newbies a greater participation in the season
