The gap between the top threats and the bottom ones can differ you can’t compare an Urshifu or a gouging fire to a squak. The majority of Pokemon arnt usable in this format there’s no reason for them to even exist. reg H Sneasler is not broken, dragapult is not broken it was never broken. You can name a small selection of mons in that format that could be called unfair compared to the others (archaludon) those will always exist in every format but the intensity and quantity can differ.

Here’s the difference with restricteds, this format these top mons arnt just stronger or more useful they are fundamentally built to be 2x as unfair compared all the others and tera enhances that. You have a reshri you have let’s say a shadow Rex. The reshiram is completely useless. It’s not balanced when the format shrinks due to power creep, that doesn’t make any sense at all. You all literally can’t just make that excuse every time stronger and stronger things get added. It is an objective fact that big number go up, power creep go up. Everything else become obsolete. Nothing has become balanced, The selection has only become smaller. And even within that selection you have crazy mons that push things even further. It’s reasonable to be overwhelmed and it does punish you, options are heavily limited.
