The world building and everything before that leading up to it was so good

it was moreso the jump ||in erens character to being what it was, like how did we get there? and then the ending sequence where ppl are really considering not stopping him cuz they were friends its like dude come on and then erens speech to armin of only wanting mikasa to love him was something i felt like was just terrible dialogue. and then how eren influences his dad in the channels or w/e to then bring him to the point where he was felt like a twist that couldve been epic but just fell short. also basically very little involvement from any of the outside world other then b/w paradise island and marley. like yea they had titan representatives and a few leaders and what not but in general it was pretty lackluster in a conflict that was more then just the 2 factions cause ultimately at the end of the story, 80% of the world gets destroyed? a world we have no idea what it looks like or really any connection to the ppl there outside just basic empathy||

the story had potential and started out really strong. by the end i felt like any promise it had fizzled out into a half baked wrap up that honestly just felt rushed and lazy

i think the time jump is ultimately would screwed a lot over. we gloss over a lot to then enter a final phase that lacks substance because we skipped over how a main character completely shifts their entire way of being; among other things

not that time jumps are inherently issues to storytelling but in this case, it wasnt done right to me
