Also a thing to note is that some teams take more skill than others, like weezing and sand (both of which i main), at first i was struggling at them but eventually i won many games with them

No worries! The team is a solid start and can definitely work, but just be sure you have a plan in mind to handle those types of threats.

Researching their movesets in singles and doubles play would be a good start to see what common moves and spreads are.

Then you can build with that in mind and maybe run some calcs.

Obviously, this is just what've seen in the past week. This can very much change in a few weeks once the new format starts and restricted Pokemon become allowed.

Usually, small adjustments like that are to hit certain threshholds or survive certain hits.

You should definitely see what they were initially intended for and capitalize on that for battles!

Reminds me of how I had EVd my Wormadam (Sand Cloak) back in my Gen 4 days to specifically survive certain attacks so she could get the Stealth Rock and String Shot I needed at the time.

Paradoxically enough, you want a fast Incineroar.

At least, it's what I used to do for Gen 8.

You'd max out speed, run an Eject Button, and then pray they smack you.

Fake Out the threat that could stop your Trick Room, then if they smack you, you switch out to your Sweeper as your partner sets up Trick Room.

It pressures quickly, since Intimidate and Fake Out are great alongside a Trick Room setter.

With Parting Shot or U-Turn, you can then manually switch out if they don't trigger your Eject Button, and since Trick Room is up, you go last now since max speed.

Incineroar is also tanky enough to take a hit or two, so you're all but guaranteed to get your sweeper in favorably.

Should still be effective for Gen 9.

Okay, so you could try a conventional setup sweeper set minimizing its speed while maxing its bulk and damage.

Bulk Up is an option along with great STABs in Flare Blitz and Darkest Lariat, as well as decent coverage options.

At Base 60, it'll lose to slower TR sweepers, but it's by no means fast either.

Could consider Leftovers, Room Service, or a Berry as well.

Or go for Life Orb for reliable damage (though can add up with Flare Blitz recoil).

Could try a Choice Band set, but might not be ideal. Incineroar lives and breathes with its coverage and flexibility.

In doubles, some bulkier Pokémon (usually support) are like Incineroar, Amoongus, for singles I’m less sure, they probably want to resist Kingambit and great tusk, from what I remember they are very good. So maybe Gliscor, although that’s bad in doubles. Corviknight could fit both niches

Obviously there are better option dependant on what else your using, but that’s a rough suggestion for both singles and doubles.

i'd also say corvi, in singles it is a bulky pivot who can also remove hazards and in doubles it can be either iron defense body press or tailwind support for example

of course it can run more than those two sets in doubles, just an example

Tornadus can use rain dance with prankster as a second rain setter, bleakwind storm does great damage to grass types, and doesn't has to use focus sash, you can just go for rocky Helmet or covert cloak

And use focus sash on Pelipper, Pelipper's only good item is focus sash because it's bulk is bad

And also change the u-turn on Pelipper, add something like tailwind
