Hello! Here is my final rental for the regulation. This is a team with a duo that I really enjoyed in reg c, and wanted to bring back after Tofu brought it up. Welcome, Kingambit and Iron Bundle, this is a team with both a HO mode and a Balance mode. like most of my teams this is a team with flexible leads, here’s the gist of the mons:
Bundle: Although it’s inconsistent at times, bundle is a core part of this team. It supports Gambit with threatening kos on fire and ground mons such as chi yu lando and harc. It’s also the speed control Mon. Leads best with a9 Rilla or Gambit.
Gambit: What a comeback, we saw gambit drop off the map in reg d and then return in reg e being just as strong as ever. Gambit here is the main sweeper, with the choice of assurance, which doubles in power into mons that have taken damage. So, icy wind+assurance, and you got large amounts of damage coming out from gambit. Leads best with Bundle Rilla and Lando.
A9: Returning favorite A9 has returned for similar reasons from before, setting screens and setting snow, this time we feature blizzard instead of icy wind. Blizzard is great for chip damage and occasionally you get your freeze rng, which feels great for you. Leads bests with Bundle, Rilla, and Lando.
Lando: Bulky+intimidate pairs well and lando is it. Av was decided for staying power in veil. Leads best with a9, bundle, and gambit.
Rilla: Rillaboom is back, this time with a sitrus build instead of miracle seed, boosting its staying power and keeping it alive for fake out pressure and keeping prio for Ogerpon. Leads best with Pon, Bundle, and A9.
Oger: A first (sort of) for my teams, Firepon ended up being a final addition because the team was lacking some immediate damage. It’s main role is dishing out damage and nuking your opponent with Ivy cudgel. Leads best with Rilla, Lando, and Bundle.
