I love the idea of having mini-seasons in between regular sized seasons tho.

The format Chapter 6 has for it in theory is perfect.

#

But my main issue with mini seasons so far in this chapter is that it's only limiting that to just collab-focused ones.

#

I don't mind it being that way than say dedicating a whole season like it was during the second Marvel season in Chapter 5.

#

But I think this could be a nice gateway to making mini-seasons that can often experiment the gameplay loop in akin to C5S3 for a short time on top of being just for collab-driven or throwback seasons.

In theory, not quite. Because they have a ton of notable Simpsons characters and locations within the show to establish a short season around it.

The only issue is just like any other collab season in the fact that unless you truly cared enough for the IP, you probably won't care for it.

The only part that matters after that is if the season is fun on it's own merits, which can go either way. :/

the problem with basing items n mechanics around something that already exists is that if you stray too far from the source material it feels weird and if you do too straight of a conversion it wont mesh well with the rest of the game youre adapting it into
