I played quite a lot of Mario Kart World and I can say one thing for sure: This game will divide fanbase a lot

Casual players or those who just want chill racing game will be happy, but those who played more games, seen more open worlds or are checking and comparing Sonic Crossworld.... might find new MArio Kart World underwhelming

The thing I ve found quite strange is that this game has less animations than Sonic Crossworlds or some known animations from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe do not exist in world. The good example is holding an item in hand animation. It is gone for most of the items

I’m finding myself disappointed with the open world section, which was my biggest selling point for the game. It’s just kinda empty.

The new tracks are visually stunning, but many have all these dead zones where you are just holding up for an extended period of time.

My main criticism are just the characters. Everything feels just lifeless and the same. Like it truly doesn’t feel like what character or kart you pick even really makes much of a difference.

Will be interesting to learn once all hidden stats are cracked. Some interesting things I've heard is that Cow has better speed on muddy roads than other drivers at their weightclass. And coins have different effect depending on what driver you use.

For example the first coins seem to be more important for lighter classes, while the higher number of coins are more effective for the heavier.

So seems to be alot of hidden facts.

Coins in general don't seem as important as in MK8DX. Most world records don't go out their way to collect coins as in 8DX. Saw one WR today where they only got 1 coin in the entire run 😂 Since they don't matter enough to sacrifice your lines for too much.
