multiplayer games have always had a luck factor baked into it. getting into a game with the best player being someone who won 7k+ real crowns vs best player only at 500 and lots of them being shard/pass freebies make a huge difference too. all just depending on who else are queuing when you did. a game can be infinitely easier if you're lucky, and tougher when you're not.

that being said, your argument hinges on "if", and people don't always play perfectly. IF that does happen then yeah there's nothing else you can do, just queue up a new game and hope you get luckier next time. if it doesn't, good luck, you should've won.

wdym brutal? fall mountain is all about the last part, all players basically spawn in a straight line, no advantage for anyone at all

the way the ground curves makes certain spots less likely to have balls on them. if you know, you know

it's all random, and it seems like it's fair because they're all in a line, but it can affect things

and by brutal, I mean that Fall Mountain is a race where "setbacks rarely happen, but when it does, it hits you HARD"

if you ever get hit by one of those giant balls, your odds of winning go down from ~85% (as a decent player) to 10%. all depending on whether or not everyone in front of you makes mistakes

it's different from say, Door Dash or Lost Temple, where "setbacks happen often, but each one only puts you a bit behind". the effect is more minor when you do try for a door and get slowed down due to the fact that it's wrong. and the path can still be long, leads change all the time, the one in front will sooner or later try a door and have it be wrong

in that sense, I'd say Fall Mountain is a brutal race because of how relentless "making a mistake" is there. the gravity of it lessening your odds of winning is much stronger

I'm of the opinion that spawns shouldn't affect your chances of winning that much, but I admit that some locations are better than others

but at the end of the day, matchmaking is luck

who is the best other competition, do they make mistakes, etc... if it frustrates people, they shouldn't play Multiplayer games, ever

the path is a straight line, similar to the See Saw. It’s all about ur skills and the ways you can do to not make any mistakes on ur way up. The balls fall on the same spot ~95%… just saying, we all can have our opinions and all of them are correct for each one of us.

it's not directly down the middle, as far as I'm aware, and again, the ground starts curving differently once you're halfway up.

if you know the right RIGHT way, there are no curves halfway up. I can tell, i’ve played fall mountain since legacy season 1. There have been many changes to the games physics and its still the same

I've also been around since Legacy S1 so whatever. you're not understanding me. the ground curves, not the path. that curve makes certain bean's position require walking further to enter/stick to the path than not.

and again, if the path is thin and specific, it's certainly not as wide as the starting line. if it's not as wide as the starting line, then logically some beans who spawn are technically a bit farther to the start of the line than other beans. any other explanation would be a repeat

Alr, to me the map is not that unfair because when a side goes up at the beginning it goes down just before the middle, it kinda compensate. And even if you messed up the beginning, there are so many ways on this map to catch up, hammers, neutral jump at the end, the rotative walls, etc..

Imma be completely honest with you, kraken is very difficult to timeout on kbm as neutral jumps are extremely difficult on kbm (however for the actual strategy of timing it out, I recommend dropping below the tiles when the platform flips and running into the bouncer, as it's the most kbm-friendly timeout strat in kraken)

If I had to guess it'd probably be trick or trapeze as it's the most spawn-based final that immediately comes to mind
