I will say the battery life on the steam deck is horrible unless you carry a charger with you but that’s the only downside imo

Plus the emulation aspect being able to emulate old school games is always a fun time

As somebody who primarily plays on Switch 2 instead of my pc (upgraded on day 1), sadly that’s just a consequence of having so much power in a handheld system

Seemingly every major dedicated gaming handheld as of late has had shorter battery life than what unpowered systems like the Switch 1 could offer

Hopefully that improves with future Nintendo and Valve handhelds

I got my Switch 1 in October 2017, would’ve gotten it earlier but I wanted to take it slow after the Wii U

I got the Wii U day one and while I loved the console and still own it, it struggled a lot

I wanted to make sure the successor to the Wii U wouldn’t fail before I upgraded

Obviously we all know how well the Switch 1 did and that’s why I went for a Switch 2 day 1 lol
