Have only played 3 games so dont have much yet. Trying to build a chart as best I can though. As I progress I can post it if you want.
As a separate note all three games I have played so far have gone for 5 levels rather than what has seemed to this point be the standard 4 of most ranked modes in the game.

got the annoying rotate and eliminate in round 2 of last one and got clipped by the "sonar" bouncer thingy right out of the gate or would have made bronze on the last run

superstar is fine as the top rank. no need to burn through so fast because another rank and you’d be here saying it needed another. the last thing the game needs is more competitiveness because that breeds toxicity which then leads to more selfishness and fear of missing out. the game has long lost its charm of silly party game because of players taking the game far too serious

It lasted for less time than the ones we are getting now and the only way to get points after Silver was by winning games (as said above), all that combined to the chosen Ranked LTM being one of the hardest gamemodes in the game

tbh it's more efficient to just get Superstar via dailies now bcus dailies semi-consistently ask you to queue in Ranked

at least for me, I only play ranked when Dailies ask me to -> see I'm level 50 in Fame Pass (technically close enough to max 70) -> then I start grinding Ranked Knockout

for both Superstar and finishing Fame Pass with minimum effort

(just like extra ~2-3 days of playing, by the time i get enough fame via winning on it to finish Pass, I also reach Superstar after one more game)

I already did that like two weeks ago tho lol

i no longer have the motivation to do 6+ hour grinds just to get the rank ASAP within the first 3 days of ranked lol, it also tends to be sweatier if you do that

compared to just playing every day and queueing up ranked a few times a week, it's much more chill

the sweats already logged off by the time I'm grinding 💀

This is what I've been doing. Just the dailies and weeklies. 30ish mins a session per day. Then when Fame Pass is finished start on Ranked properly or grind Crowns/Shards from Creator Spotlight and Explore.

Problem is they've locked rewards behind winning Ranked Knockouts and I'm already Ace. Not good enough rn to get wins at that level (only recently started playing regularly). Maybe I should leave Ranked Knockout until the final weeks in future?

No, because ranked in this game means everyone winning. I agree, with what you say. But the average 7 year old has to be able to progress. Ranked is never meant to be for this game.

Its not competitive, cheaters arent banned, ranks are a pure measure of playtime as u arent even against ur own rank a majority of the time.

The most competitive thing they added everyone complained, ie xtreme ranked and that still has many issues
