That 1 you just have to get to the bottom of the stage, and try to get the gold stars. That's all you need to do.

Also the Level before that, try to get as much silver stars as well.

No - why would it be? I’m not sure why people are grabbing you though. All the spectators and the grabs that I’m on the receiving end of are likely due to my CR 80. Crown Ranks are a rather poor indicator of skill, but are the only thing that people have to work with.

Also, why does ranking up not seem to affect difficulty at all? I had a Kraken Slam game end in 1 minute in Ace.

Button bashers in general feels like the most rng-ey round out of all in ranked cuz in general it ends being like some guy steamrolling over you there and u can’t do anything about it. The only rounds I could potentially dislike on the same lvl cuz of rng are either hoopsie legends or leading light.

I got to star earlier and then won 4 finals (Hexagon x2, Kraken Slam and Roll Off) the rest of the points were just reaching the finals

It’s way too easy to acquire tbh. You’ve got 60 days to get it, but it can be achieved in a day if you’re dedicated enough. What they should’ve done - amongst a slew of other changes - is make it so that you lose 30 or so points even if you make it to the finale in Star (more points lost if you lose earlier ofc - 150 for losing in the first round). Then - award 30 points for 3rd place, 50 points for 2nd place, and 100 points for a win. Then, bump the requirement per sub-rank up to 300 points. And potentially award 10 points for 4th and 5th place.

I definitely get that, but ultimately - I’d say it’s fine if Ranked and only Ranked has an intense competitiveness to it in a generally more casual game (it’s less of a casual game these days anyways though - lots of people take it way too seriously). I believe Superstar should be for the best of the best, not most semi-decent players. This viewpoint is accounting for the fact that the Ranked skin is available for Star Beans as well; it’s not just constrained to Superstar.

150 crowns per season is nothing sadly, and the mode itself isn't really worth grinding in due to SBMM unless people want the ranked score to show up

I got Superstar a couple days ago! I don't see a big reason to continue to grind Ranked past Superstar, though, so I'll probably only return to it when the dailies tell me to. My ranked grind was pretty smooth since I didn't ever lose ranked points in a game. It was ludicrously sweaty when it first came out, but later on the difficulty seemed to go down a lot, even in Star, so I was able to consistently reach the final (and win several games.)

Once the novelty wore off the mode kinda became unserious. I put in in #fall-guys-captures but I literally went straight from star to superstar without losing a single game. Decided to leave it until I finished the fame pass for the shadow crowns and that seems the plan going forward

one of my biggest problems with ranked is how multiple people can share the win and get the most ranked points... raising awareness

the mode's salvageable though... besides removing timeouts heres what i would do:
-rebalance the points, for example:
-you should be able to lose points starting at bronze rank instead of all the way at gold rank
-the requirement of needing to reach the final to gain points should begin at ace instead of star
-make ranked knockout and regular knockout's roundpools separate, so that regular knockout isnt bogged down by ranked knockout and vice versa
-if 8 SBMM tiers is too much for ranked, they could get away with using 4 or even 3, just make it so that your rank is what determines your SBMM tier, not your MMR that you cant see:
-rookie, contender: tier 1 SBMM
-bronze, silver, gold: tier 2 SBMM
-ace, star, superstar: tier 3 SBMM (the highest)
-idk how ranked decay works but it shouldnt set you all the way back to rookie. at the very least you should go down to 1 rank below your current rank. maybe the higher ranks can reset you to a specified point like ace rank if you're in star or superstar

the only thing "hard" about star is you lose points if you fail to reach the final and you only gain 20 points for reaching the final instead of 50. So winning is even more important. The lobbies don't get harder though as it's not based on your rank

the SBMM is just the same one used in previous shows with no modifications. three tiers based on some MMR value that you cant see
essentially this means that most good players will be lumped into the highest SBMM category

i find lobbies generally easy, but sometimes there’s people who know the routes and late at night since there’s a smaller pool, you’ll typically requeue with them for several games in a row

you could just wait a bit before queue tbf

I would say we need more adjustments for the score system, I felt it was too easy probably, since you can literally ragequit and don't lose any points

I started playing ranked last Monday and got superstar in 6 days. Fun fact, I never won a crown while at star 5, just got a lot of +20s for reaching finals lol

It's kinda hard to win when literally everyone in lobby is like CR40+
