Usually it’s from people restarting the game, using alt saves, or having other people trade using the same discord account with their own save

Either beat the gym or trade them for new shinies attached to your trainer info. (OT, TID and SID) that way they'll listen no matter what.

Not sure how many shinies you bought but I think the second option easier 🤷‍♂️
