yep gb operator, moved game file to pc, opened multiple mgba apps to play 45 different instances of my save file and soft resetting/recountring until 1 has a shiny, pause all but the 1 that has the shiny, catch the shiny, save, then unpause all apps and reset so they all have the up to date save file with shiny and do another shiny hunt

then when im done, move save file back to cartridge with gb operator and done 🙂

Ok guys I have something weird happen, I only battled Gastly & Haunter while EV training my Deoxys-A in Sp atk yet somehow it got 4 speed EVs & I have not used any vitamins etc.... Does the Gastly line give speed EVs too or does someone have another explanation as to what is going on. its speed with 0 should be 125 & again I havent touched any trainers, used items or anything to give it speed EVs. It is holdng the Macho Brace tho ik that cuts speed.

The EV items can be used until 100 EV, so you will need to train the hard way, now :/

If you have 0 EV, you can use calcium until reach 100 in the attribute, and go kill Pokémon until the limit

@oak frigate well I've beaten red with a annoying cycle of reviving between Mewtwo, Dragonite and Typhlosion and waiting out hail to lower his team so I can finish off with out speeding damage

Damn, so I did one attempt and considering my average level was like 47ish I took down his Pikachu and Espeon easily, and it took Gyrados, Victerebell Rhydon AND Typlosion in the red to take snorlax down, then got cooked by Blastoise. I thought I had a good attempt and only using one max potion and ether, what were your levels?

In crystal at like 2 an eariler today

I would've preferred fighting an Espeon vs his Lapras

And my levels between the 3 were in the early 70s

Everything else was 60

As strong as his Pikachu is I'm glad it's special defense was weak

I took it out with Typhlosions eruption then kept cycling between the other two

Blastoise was a tanky bastard

Hit my Dragonite like a freight train so I couldn't get more than 1 attack in

Didn't have to deal with him healing his team cause I timed my attacks with hail

In all honesty I think taking like 20 minutes to cycle out with revives and and using hail damage is faster than taking hours to train everything up to 80+

Pikachu can't touch rhydon, aside from the fact Quick attack does 5 damage

How's my new Platinum team so far? All are Modest and In regards to Squirtle and Celebi theres stories with em. This playthrough is based off if I was in Sinnoh and on my own Journey, With Celebi the story is one night I was training my Monferno outside Jubilife city and it was raining so we stopped. I was going to get ready to run back to Sandgem town for shelter then I heard a cry and a whimper in a bush on the route, It was a Celebi Crying in pain and I grabbed it and ran home to Twinleaf instead and treated its injuries. After days of rest and recouping from its injuries it kept following me around and didn't wanna leave so it agreed to join me. Squirtles story is I was training again after Celebi recovered in the route south of Jubilife and I ran into this Squirtle just being cute and adorable and super friendly. I fed it some berries and asked if it wanted to join and it agreed.

I got a Hasty Gastly and now for a Moveset I was thinking between Shadow Ball, Psychic, Giga Drain and Thunderbolt tho also was conidering Sludge Bomb as well and Icy Wind. What would be best? Ultimately It is going to become a Gengar.
