With you being free to play it’s hard to be a Army/Air 1-2 punch since you will be dealing with space issues on land. Not enough room for Planes and Tanks. Water space will go to waste.

My advice is to always have navy as your secondary march or main. Again, just my opinion for a free to play perspective.

Bad matchmaking sure, mostly related to people short stacking teams - some of the lower strength matchups were fun to watch (but yes matchmaking was all over, gameplay system arguably more fair than it is now though with airdrops added vs. just hold building and send to hover)

But the first time yeah, ports were crazily limited, in the final run (before being taken away), everything after round 1 had almost 2x the ports to get people on the field more
