This is the key, because to get Shen’s damage higher than Zhen’s on the Jester march with Ada, you will need to put one magnetic field and searing each on 2 gear pieces between Ada and Shen so you have more applications of abnormal states Shen. This drops either damage mitigation by dropping two impacts off of Ada, drops damage increase by dropping to armor breaking from Shen, or you drop one of each from both of those heroes and drop damage mitigation and dam increase a little less but both.

If you are running two Navy marches, my suggestion is Zhen/Layla/Jester and Shen/Ada/Stromoy. The reasoning behind this is Zhen only ever needs one and Layla provides more than Ada and there is nothing in Leila‘s mechanics that debilitation effects, hinder her. On the other hand, adding rehabilitation effects to Ada causes her not to generate as many shields because there should rarely be any stocks that don’t already have a debilitation. With the jester march relying heavily on only stacking the two effects, this means at best it will only have two abnormal states most of the time. With Ada on the march with Shen and Stromoy, there is nothing boosting debilitation multiplicatively, so you can put a searing and magnetic field on Ada to help boost Shen’s ability to max out her abnormal state bonus. With Ada and no debilitation effects, you will produce more light and heavy shields to get three out of four of Stromoy’s stacking dam+ and Ada and Stromoy’s heavy shields pair well together for more damage mitigation since you’re not stacking rehabilitations that are being increased by Jester. Shen’s stacking dam+/-helps with both this damage mitigation, and the damage increase from Stromoy. The light and heavy shields also allow you to go with ring of cosmos HT chip with or without the BA-6.
