I’ve told them competition incites rivalry which leads to spending. There is no competition when four 90cp+ played can rally a 110cp and not scratch him. It was also show respect by TopWar towards their veterans who have spent 4 years playing this game and spent 100’s of thousands of dollars. Even at a 3:1 recycle I get 11 L7 heroes for free. Their droprate of 5 takes 20 gold catalyst (and not a guarantee you get a rune) to get one rune and it takes 32 runes to get a legendary. 3 runes can be obtain on average daily in events for $100. You do the math and that’s over 1.1 million U.S. dollars to get all max legendary effects on three marches. Or 34,560 runes… no one is getting 35k gold runes for free in 4 years!
