Gas powered cars require about 25k gallons to put out and the fire is dead dead dead. The battery in EV’a require around 250k-400k gallons. And it takes up to 24 hours to put out cuz even after fire is out the battery still continues to “explode” periodically and catch fire again. Fire depts usually have to take it to facility where they can fully enclose car in special container to let oxygen die out in order to fully kill the battery
