Pepefrog - class rework is nearby and all the relative benefits and draw backs may change fairly soon - after class rework they will let you deselect your class once to another one. So I would tell your friend to select what they want for now and hold out for class rework to make more of their final decision

LC provide the best farming option in the game for food and oil. Then for pve (droid and wb) you can place strength towers to boost your team. The target server was selected about 1 week before they killed transfers. EL is looking to be in the middle of the window more then likely. I just dont understand the time windows when more than half the time we cant even do a transfer from event blocks -.-

From what I understand: Depends if you have the decor that prevents degradation.
Units that degrade down a level can be merged back up to elites. However, units that don’t degrade after repair will turn into normal 80s. For this reason, many players advise to remove those decors.

Question on the new transfer system. The system mail makes it seem like the servers are on a revolving door with the groups. So if one server is in one group as it ages the server goes into another group. That would mean that as long as the servers aren’t extremely far from each other one server could age into the next group making it possible to transfer from one server to another that was not in the same group previously. I prefer using Fenrir because it is good both in defence and attack. Its 68% damage increase doesn't happen every time. Fenrir gains that +38% DMG only if it hits 3 different troops (with normal attack). Sometimes it doesn't hit 3 different targets (because hits are completely random).
Kraken is surely the best for defence for its solid shield and huge crit buff but Fenrir should be your first choice.

Units that are ‘saved’ from downgrade by the dragon boat or twins rocking horse decor become regular lvl 80s that cannot be converted back into elites. So if don’t want that to happen, pick up those decors.

Is it possible to get a detailed breakdown of the weakening and strengthening tower, who do they work/not work against, do they only work at point of attack, or do they provide the buff outside the circle. Also a breakdown of the potions, how exactly does corrosive mucus work, for example.

The towers work at the area around the actual tower but not the towers themselves. They need to be at the site of the battle. Weakening needs level 3 to reduce the rof of the enemy. If you have 2 weakening towers near each other then they will protect each other and reduce the rof due to it being in the others protective zone. You can build 1 of each tower. Each level of towers increases the stats, durability and capacity while reducing cost and build time. At level 4 for each tower you can build 2 of each at the same time.

Towers need to be reinforced to build. If the troops inside are killed a timer will start and when it reaches 0 it will be removed. Anyone from your alliance putting troops in the tower will start building it again. Once the towers up you can leave the tower and it will stay up but can be hit/damaged and destroyed with enough hits.

I would suggest not playing topwar. What will happen is you will finish all of your gold equipment, and at that point your old server will be dead and tons of people will no longer be playing. Along with all the other old servers in group C. So you'll want to transfer into B, where there is a lot of activity, and you won't be able to. Then those active group B servers will start to die, and the only people who really play anymore will be in group A. And you can't go there, so all your time and effort will be for nothing, because there will be no one left playing to show it off to.

To answer everyone's question about the new system, the way I understand it is the new ABC system has gone into effect. Starting on the 14th, some servers (the best and most active) within each group will be more expensive to transfer to. Then a medium range server with probably similar transfer cost to the old system, then old dead servers will be cheaper or even free to transfer to. That does not solve the problem of friends trying to get to their friends, and if your friends, or you, happen to be in the "Top" warzone, it's a further pay wall to get your friends together.

The mail does not say it will be more expensive to go to top warzone. It says there’s an additional step, leader eval, and the limit on transfers per 15 days is lower (10 instead of 30). It may end up being more expensive, but there’s no indication of that so far. The added step has been a frequent request from popular servers, where they would raise the limit for someone and several would pop in during the open window
