Yea the weapon side increases damage to the suppressed type. Armor side decreases damage from the suppressed type. But it's additive on dmg increase/decrease so suppression gets counteracted by dmg increase a bit, rather than acting as a multiplier on top, I think is how it works. Otherwise suppression would be much more powerful.

Most of those players aren't gonna win as GM either. Complaining about the state of the game now when they've already said they're going to change it and give everyone 3 hero does nothing. Does it suck that it's taking a lot longer than they initially said? Yea, sure does. But balancing is hard and if they're doing it right it's totally understandable it'd take them some time and they had setbacks. Complaining about it isn't going to do anything. There's no question here needing an answer so it's not really relevant for a QNA channel.

I think part of the problem is they are trying to answer the wrong question. Making a system balanced where Mechanical Masters can go toe to toe with Combat Elites is inherently flawed in my opinion. Addressing the rewards system to recognize and reward other contributions besides simple troop kills is the better path. For instance, if an LC builds a strengthening tower for WB, their WB score should be their own hits, plus 10/15% of the damage done by their teammates who benefitted from the strengthening tower. Now they place higher for rewards, without major adjustments to class. Same with other points tracking events.

Yea...I guess my thoughts are mostly TM vs GM tree balancing. I'd take longer trying to figure out what to do the the Mech trees.

That's the easiest one. Replace TM training speed research with a similar tiered March Size research similar to Eternal Land Tech. Once the March sizes are closer, the 3 Hero GM advantage is mostly eliminated. Pretty much everything else can stay the same. I've tested this multiple times. Until a 3HGM can beat my March size by 50 or so, it isn't unbalanced.

Like you could realistically find ways to keep TM 2 hero with elites and balance out the difference. Add march size in a class perk. Give a multiplier for perks to make up the difference a bit (without giving free stats that a GM has to spend shards to get per se) etc. Lots of ideas. Then you'd have a more budget option that wouldn't have the same power ceiling but could be on par a bit (even though having a 3rd heros ability in the march like 914 complimenting bailos/aka is really powerful just on its own)

It really comes down to March size, if you can keep March size within 25 units or so, TM stays competitive. Once it gets past that, less likely. So what that means is that circumstances like reinforcements (where GM capped at 130 units) a TM can handle a GM, but open field requires sending a 1-2 punch of multiple marches. Since TM Elite Troops replace cheaply, this isn't as bad a strategy as it sounds, just needs planning.

I'm planning about focus only army to take advantage of limited -resources, components, orange shards, and heroes perks (my top competitors in our sever are mostly army and airforce) - also the army units are usually 6 times bigger than navy
So my plan is to fully max out 4-8 perks on army heroes (Katyusha and Optimus I think) and stop upgrade suppression to focus on Basic Talent). It is a good strategy and have you seen any player do this strategy ? Thank you

focusing on 1 unit type is what we always suggest, as 1 good type beats multiple bad ones (as you havent spread your rss out), im not sure prime will be your best 2nd hero but if you dont have many options hes not the worst. in terms of suppression or profession, you should always be doing profession, making sure that it is always upgrading something, suppressions can wait if you have lvl 50 for land, as thats normally enough

Level 5 is 11% so you do 11% of 80 ( which give you a bit more than 8% ) dont remember exactly the bonus from bassel 5 stars.

Pretty sure your early game is also the strongest for later game as long as you don't use heroes with skills that multi fire.

For me, our of all navy heroes the best combo is Bassell + Nimitz with the first formation. Any other hero in there I need to use the second formation but it does half the damage.

Good with fortified formation and Aya. Selina and Aya complete each other. Third hero suggestion is Villers/Amalia because they are pure Attack Boosters so they can give you a minimum of attack on the front line (the steel wall) and extra useful attack on troops behind
