Question about research gold equipment. I am soon about to start research my gold equipment. For example, would it be better to research all 3 purple weapon and replace my navy purple with the gold weapon? Or would it be better to do purple for my 2nd branch instead.

If you're someone who is considering going for gold, I would recommend committing to the one gold. If you have spare purple blueprints, it could be a good idea to make all 3 purple and then, once you have enough mats, dismantle all 3 to make the gold for your main troop. I would just be sure you have spare purple blueprints to be able to make a 2nd one of each in the distant future. That is, after you've already made all 3 purples, dismantled to make the gold, then later make the other 2 purples once again.

You can get better heroes without using money if you save your gems. When a new hero is released you have the option of aquiring them with gems instead of buying. I would do that with event recruit vouchers or lucky treasury

For instance I did this and got optimus prime for less than 1000 gems in lucky treasury event

as f2p you can dilligently skip events that you are not focusing on, like if you are just focusing on kat and brad, you can skip gacha, skip some new heroes which arent favourable like the air heroes you can skip. You can keep gems for hero returns for the kat/brad exclusives and flippy event for the universal gold shards

it is not necessary to get every single hero from the new hero event, my own personal opinion despite the fact that many encourage others to get the new heroes. It depends on your needs and ability to develop your main march rather than following some of the trends

Not 100% sure what you mean with the second part of your question, but here's some numbers for you. Your standard vit recovery speed is one vit every 6 minutes, with nothing reducing it. Knocking 10% off of that means 36 seconds, so with the vip 8 buff itself you would recover 1 vit every 5m 24s, instead of every 6m.

Right now my Vit recovery speed is 28% (I have capital buff) but my basic vit speed recovery is 23%. My vit regenerates every 4 min 38 seconds which is 23% of 6 minutes. So what is my capital 5% doing or vip 8 10% which is just Vit recover speed

Hmm, I know this may be a silly question but have you tried resetting the game to see if it changes? If that makes no difference, I'm not sure I know the answer. If your stats say that your vit recovery is 28% but you're only getting 23, it sounds like the capital buff isn't being applied.

I just double checked my own numbers, 35% vit and 1 vit every 4m 19s, which doesn't seem to add up either. Now you've got me wanting to dive harder into the numbers. 🤨

what heroes did you build, what did you focus on, what unit type is your main, what is your profession, do you have skins/decors etc.
All these variables come into play when you want the simple answer as to what is the "best pd setup"
The simple answer applicable to nearly every non-whale = to setup your strongest march as primary defense. Fill your base with 700+ tanks.
Then if you do not defeat wave 25 in 3-4 waves last time, take off march size skills and put on damage decrease etc. to make the most out of your units.
then go with the flow and see where you end up

gacha is an event, heavily favoured by small spenders and ftp accounts as it's one of the few events where a base skin can be won without investing any money, just gems collected in game. It used to be the only event this was possible in and hence coveted quite a bit by ftp accounts, there is at least one more to my knowledge possibly more that can get you a base for free.

When turning Bumblebee into an SSR you lose access to his SR shards. Not being able to use his SR shards to level his perks leaves him to be useless. To my understanding, you cant get SSR shards for Bee, and you can’t use his SR shards to level his perks. So it renders him to be completely useless if you upgraded him without knowing this information beforehand.

Players who got all of the SR shards from the challenges, perked him out, then upgraded him. Rambo perked is better bee is not all good his base skill has a 25% chance of activating and it’s not always guarantee that it wil active every time and when it does really pop much maybe like 2-4 times unless you get it to pop a lot he is pretty much useless. Use Air Force. Use 7 planes, 2 ships. Make sure elemental damages are different. And make sure navy has a higher HRf component than airforce. I personally put ships on slots 1 and 9.

The way I do it it makes ships fire first. Then planes will get 3 of the damage switching critical hits and the ships will get only 2. I find that sometimes the super damage shot with the element switch doesn’t proc right if only one ship attacks.

So for best results you get three plane super hits at 300% critical plus the massive element bonus. And two smaller ship super hits.

Also, you don’t really need all 5 components. For both, damage inc, weapon buff, hit, crit damage and hrf. You don’t need crit rate on planes since it’s 100% crit. And your ships do minimal damage compared to the guaranteed 300% critical hits and the element switching hits

That will work but since the battle goes for 35 rounds and you only get 5 major damage hits, this way you get more attacks with critical damage units

he meant he is navy main: e.g. bassel + nimitz so you shouldnt even go that formation and use af skills at first place: the better way if you just main navy and you dont have good af, that 1-9 formation only works for trigger esp katyusha. Rather he should just swap out the navy skills for air skills for passive heroes and use the inverted Y formation. @karmic coral

It depends on what are you f2p or some spender that can afford to vip 9, I would recommend f2p to go army because kat and bradley exclusives always available on island store, while for navy marches it is universal, so exclusives are harder to get. Primarily, in the later stages, the effect of exclusives will show in battles

you dont need to sustain a full march of valhallas, just the 1 stack minimum (but i dont suggest odinium anyway). gold shards are always nice and so are the mastery items, perk books can be useful (if you actually need them). comps are a no. delhuyar if you dont have her (just 10 shards then stop)
