If you have the radar, the 5 minute perk speedups are showing up as rewards for some of them.
If you have the Hunting Guild, under the Information Board/World Treasure/Treasure Store, I find 1-3 of the 8-hr perk speedsup there every day, but you have to be checking it constantly because they don't last very long once found
If you are VIP 8 I believe, the VIP store has the 8-hr speedups for 190 gems

I don't see where you're getting that I gave a definitive response rather than a speculative one. It also takes $0 to reach level 80 by 3mo, all leveling takes is time and a smart utilization of VIT. If you want to make that utilization even smarter, it takes $1. Also, it doesn't matter if you have maxed heroes and comps when you reach lvl 80. Is it preferred? Yes, but hamstringing your level gives absolutely no gain.

I disagree that hamstringing your level gives you no gains... I'm a lvl 74 and I have been for a few weeks, not doing anything intentional to level up, it will happen when it happens.
Why did I do that? because I had my eye on Elite Units, which meant odin and valhalla units were not going to be my choice, so missing out on collecting odinium was not really "a loss" for me. As it stands, I'm losing 2 or 3 battles on KE. I have 2 5* heroes, pvp set of comps almost to lvl 10, starting tier 5 in the TM tech tree, and for the next 2 or 3 levels there won't be players in my server that can easily beat me. Also, by the time I get to lvl 79 I will have all of the materials needed for all the purple equipment for army and navy, without purchasing a single pack of materials. By then gold will not be an issue and when I level up to 80 I will be well prepared and not be a nooby 80 that gets owned all the time (even by lower levels).
Balance approached trumps rushing through the levels.

EL start times: I'm not understanding why it's biased. Americans get it at 11pm, Brits get it at 3am and the Chinese get it at mind day. The time has changed twice on which has become more biased towards the Chinese players

Let's parse this down:
Collecting odin doesn't hurt you either, not collecting it doesn't give you any gain.
Elite units are supposedly going away with the class rework, but even if it doesn't, you get no gain by continuing to be lvl 74 vice 80.
+/- 5 levels during KE is a player imposed rule, not a game mechanic. Given that that rule is often meaningless during larger scale events like SVS and EL, you'd be better off having the scaled dmg/hp a lvl 80 unit has over a lvl 74.
Your level has no part or parcel of your equipment builds, so again not a gain of hamstringing your level.
Your comps, heroes, equip etc will progress at the rate they progress regardless of your player level. So again, there is not a gain to intentionally holding back your level.

I'm just saying that there is more than 1 strategy, and staying back intentionally has paid off for me. I'm getting all the RSS I need every day, I have everything I need to keep advancing on the tech tree, I have build up my troops/heroes to withstand just about everyone that can attack me (based on the rules of my server) and by the time I get to 80 I will not be at the bottom of that pool but towards the middle-top. I have not attacked anyone below my level in over 3 months and have lost very few battles (mostly against 80s)

Sure, in SVS against the big 80s, no chance! But I guess I will test my method/approach during EL against 75-79 and see if it paid off

A few weeks difference will make a huge difference once I arrive to 80 (even to 79)

I realized I have become a hoarder! lol I have over 60K red boxes, have not opened up a single one in 3 levels, so by the time I get to 80 I will have the gold to get that second garage right away.
I'll give you the odinium farming but since Elite Units were a thing, I wanted to go that route and not valhalla, so that never played a role until they announced they were going to do away with them... after EL I guess we will see what kind of a mess they are doing with the "balancing"
For SVS I get over 40K points, and because I'm not a whale, I don't have any aspirations of placing towards the top of those battles, but I had a lot more points than many 80s in my server

As a lvl 80 now u accumulate more gold than a lvl 74 so if u were an 80 u would have those much sooner than when u reach 80 and immediately unlock them
Elite units are terrible and so is the tm tree after tier 6 it's absolutely outmatched by gm tree tier 6+ so not going to make a difference and by the time u reach the elite trees the class changes have arrived and u won't see them in the game anymore every lvl 80 got 300k odinium free for svs compensation in the past couple months that's just sth u don't wanna miss lol

What is important to remember is that the towers whether buff or debuff does not reach inside themselves. Meaning a weakening tower does not debuff battles happening inside the weakening tower itself.

While if you have two towers in range of each other, they'd then debuff each other and whoever is defending them. That's why you often see multiple weakening towers next to each other.

There's several base skins, decorations (mainly from decoration packs), as well as certain ruins, and certain hero's special exclusive ability if exclusive skill is 3 or higher (Tywin & Ganso) that will buff your gather speed.
Beyond that I generally advice if you have 4 skill slots to equip rare food/oil, rare world gather, common food/oil and common world gather on all gather hero's, perks as you mentioned will also aid this. VIP perks at higher levels also have a massive impact on gathering.
Gathering from mechanical master barns/refineries (and preferably Legendary Craftsman, when they reach lv. 4 and up) will also provide a higher gather speed than any normal tile.

Yes, lvl5 and lvl10 are good improvements for components that you barely use ( save at least 1 lvl10 out of each just in case updates will make them more viable)

Personally I'd never sacrifice either DMG+, DMG-, Weapon Upgrade, Armor Upgrade or specially HRF components until I have 3 of each of them. The remaining components: DEX, Crit Up, Crit Dmg, INV, Hit I'd start sacrificing once I have them at lv 10 one time only. (Very) late game even low spenders will reach a point they'll use more than one unit type.

So I have a single question, why is it that during svs all members of a server are considered ally and unable to hit one another, yet in EL if one alliance wants to remove others from EL they are free to do so? I dont see why EL doesn't or don't get the same revision as SVS because as it stands. Server 225 for example, (where Americans and Japanese play together) the main Japanese alliance filled with alt accounts has decided that if you do not conform or submit then you are to be hit. Preventing other alliances who can not fight back from participating. Don't get me wrong I would leave 225 to rot. If I could -_- server transfers not only disabled during EL but you have to wait till you are lvl 80 to do so.

Hi, I'm level 79,5 now, 635 ee Exp to go for level 80.
I'm wondering which way is better:
A) train unlimited firepower (2 ff Gold, 475 ee Exp) and do the rest 160 ee by spending 800 ee gold, which is 2,8 ee total
And then craft arsenal things (4 purple items) when I'm level 80 since the costs are static (568 ee x 4 would be 2,27 ff Gold)

Or

B) skip unlimited firepower and craft arsenal things already with level 79 (2,72 ff Gold = 454 ee Exp)

B) somehow feels nicer to me. Unlimited firepower is pretty useless, only 0,5 % atk.
I need the arsenal things anyway.

Downside that they will cost me more red chests if I do it with 79.

Wb has favored land the past 6months so it's natural and katyusha is always gonna deal the most dmg out of all trigger heroes I have pretty much the same setup and might raise aka toro and move amalia to land permanently once u get 80 and 2nd dock it helps a lot being able to have like 190ships is a huge upgrade

Can someone tell me what’s the best way to get points in SVS ranking? Before anyone over 40 would give you points but since they changed the rules I can hardly get any points even if I stick to only attacking 10 levels lower than me. I hit someone the same level as me and barely got any point.

Most points are gained by killing units - if you attack someone and they have no units left, you'll barely get points. An easy way is be in your hive, wait for someone to come attack your alliance, they send out a march, you port beside them, hit them, then port away. Do this early in the fight and you'll zero a lot of bases.
