In deep sea the hero shards cost around or under 100 gems each if you are active, is the other events you mentioned cheaper or do they just provide more but for a bigger cost?

Deep Sea has the lowest price, but, very limited amount.

Also, if you're going after gold shards with money that is the best event to spend your money. Just buy every speed up there is.

But, main problem with deep sea is, it's very limited. As already mentioned, you get only low amount of gold shard.

Flippy cards usually gives about 200 gold shards for about 40k gems (cca 200 gems/shard). You can go after more gold shards, but then it gets expensive.

Lucky numbers offer gold and skill shards (first two rounds).

Cupid is good if you go after gold blueprint, but if you do have a lot of gems, then it's also very good.

Hero return can be used for perking, or getting es5 with gems, some of old heroes had passive stats (hero doesn't have to be in battle to give stats).

I'm looking for some advice on rune setup. I am army main using magnetic. Sara + Binary + Shinji but looking to replace Shinji with new hero next week. All es5

Using Bobgrif Titan Effects Guide it is suggested to load up Sara and Binary with Magnetize and Magnetic Field, but these have proven hard to come by and I only have 1 Magnetize rune. I have enough tactical and stealth to fill them up to 0 star runes

For the indestructible hero it suggests loading up with Impact and Debilitate. I have enough to do that and with some of them 1*

I'm MM and DMG+ 400% and DMG- 360% and DEF 175%. 215 march size.

Question is, given my DMG stats should I still be following the suggested path and using Impact + Debilitate on the Indestructible hero?

Debilitate are the best rune in Top War right now and from my perspective i'll only load Sara with full Titan Gear Magnetic Effect and Binary load it with full DMG+/DMG- with Artilery Storm

Binary = Artilery, Stealth Holograms and Tactical Awareness rune
Shinji = Full Debil
Sarah = Full magnet

but we know sometimes rune can be hard to obtain, i suggest you to use DMG runes atm and DN'T UPGRADE IT because you can't recycle the runes.

Upgraded runes only can move to the same Gear

All out Surge,Steel Torrent and Unbreakable runes can be hard to obtain so i didn't put recommendations to it

but for the ideal build i often see coming from the they usually use this built

ATK BUFF Hero = Artilery Storm Runes, Tactical Awareness and Stealth Hologram runes
Indes Heroes = Unbreakable runes and full Debilitate runes
HP Heroes = AoS runes, Steel Torrent runes, adjusting to their march needs --> Air = Ignitions rune and Flammable while Army = Magnetic Field rune and Magnetize rune.

but again... those runes can be hard to obtain, so need so much LUCK

don't forget, Bellevue has an active skill and can trigger after ur enemy's regular attacks

But, short answer would be, latest heroes are better. Plus, there might be some strange combinations that are stronger.

Why is your 10th slot navy, that doesn’t work at all. If you want to use encirclement, better to just put it in 9th slot.
I figure you are a f2p, so you lack stats from decors (dmg +/-, ms), base skins, even titan gears and pets. You could slowly work on your ht, equipments and gear for now, try stacking gs and ex shards to change heros

Like foxie said, it’s really hard to improve march cp without spending money.
For your level, it’d be best to use encirclement, despite low cp.
your heros are quite old now, that’s why I told you to stack resources to replace them 3. You could move striker and gipsy to other branches, if you ever plan to develop one

I would say it's personal opinion base on our own experience. Of course a navy main will have a different point of view than an Army main.

During early stage, I would also recommend newbies to play Army as well. Since it's good for PVE and also to counter current AF's meta as they're currently too powerful

As we are sharing opinions, my would be:

Army is the best for f2p people, as army has the most space, and f2p have hard time to obtain resources to have more units space.

Having enough units is essential for playing the game, not just fighting. And, thus, investing in heroes that work with army in circumstances of limited resources is the best move.

Navy is good because most people use army, but that fact is a bit negated for f2p, as they slowly get resources to raise suppresion, or have enough navy units.

Air force is good for fighting people with navy, but if you're f2p, you're mostly impacted with low resources, high cost to maintain air force, etc.

Thus, army should be first choice. Second choice, if possible, can be either navy or air force, depends on own preferences.

You have less space.

Being in alliance territory is good, but it's not crucial. You generally want to be inside territory. But, you can live outside too, just lose some alliance tech bonuses.

Best practice is to keep alliance always almost full (169 people), and then remove inactive people as you get new people in.

My advice, search for people on the map, zoom out to see objects on map, including people bases, and when you see them, contact each of them, and invite them to join your alliance.

There's always few people in dead alliances. Some won't respond back, but yours is to contact them and try to get them to join your alliance. Best opener is simple: Hi. If they respond, then explain them why they should join you (you're big and active alliance).
