Our sever just went through the whole process of the new perk trees. And either I didn't get all my resources back or I used them in the wrong spot . Is there anyway I can reset the progress in the general spot? I believe I maxed those and wasn't supposed too. Before this happened I had both my towers unlocked and maxed to 3. And now I can't even get past the first perk on master.

Everyone assumed it would be like the old system where you have a perk item exchange. I would suggest compensation via at least one more class exchange book is needed.

How to switch the surplus nameplate I bought from day 1 and I can't use them up as I don't have resources. How will I switch to Craftman, I will be stuck with those nameplates and no way to switch them.

Yeah. We need to have some support here for those of us who selected another class than what we had previously and now are stuck. Having to expend 10K gems for this is ridiculous. A simple fix would be a class item exchange event.

Another solution, may be sending a compensation mail with another free ticket for the extra swap that's needed. But wouldn't be practical because most members will not get how to use it properly and the issue will persist

If I do the research, will it increase the number of transfer tickets I need? I need the same number now as I did before the class reset, which seems wrong if doing the research increases the number I need.

Reser talent "bottom" will return your resources. But class reselect "up" will not return anything. It will move you to the excact position of your upgrade in the new class.

Too many players got error as "you need at least 50 level" while choosing profession. But already they are 80 level and completed trainee officer. They thought that they need complete general skill perks first. That's why they tried complete it. They wasted 2 billion resources and too many speedups. This bugs like traps. Please send system message. And roll back the victim players's general skill perks.

New update is ridiculous. Instead of saving us some time for collecting any rewards, we now have to do the extra tap on the screen, then wait until our rewards decide to graciously descent into our Inventory. Just wonderful. In a game where sometimes seconds matter and where we actually pay money for it to work faster. š š

I want my 10k back
Before the change in training, it was said that no one would be worse off. Now just GM have lost skills that they have previously acquired. March size, 3Heroes, 6th skill slot for example. Many of these skills would now have to be reacquired. This is not ok. Acquiring them cost everyone a lot of time, effort and often money or gems. Please correct this.
This is a complete joke. Two days ago my specialization screen was completely blank and forced me to use the ticket in the mail to get it back to the way it was. I did not plan on switching anyways. Had to use rss and speedups to get back to where I was on the research. Now with the update I had to go back and re-do it and now nowhere near where I was on the tree. Contacted in-game support multiple times with no answer finally to get responses āyou used the ticket on xxxxā. Well no shit I used the ticket cause I had to
I was part of the elite troops but it doesn't evolve so as not to lose resources now in this new system I couldn't get enough 3 heroes, it will take another 2 or 3 months to release lack of consideration for players

These 2 players selected combact and are done with their tree update but it is showing them as LC. I checked with another player who selected MM and his is showing as LC also

Skill slot is replaced in the tree and probably need more RSS than before to get there

Lots of our members, if not all, were shorted on resources as well. This update shouldnāt have put players weaker than they were. I hit far less on WB today than before the update. I am sure we will all get 50 gems for the trouble thoughā¦

If I see that correctly, the entire resources from the first Techtree are missing. This may not be particularly important for large accounts. Smaller accounts sometimes did not even come with the ress to the selection of the profession
Hi, we need help with the mess this update created!!! In my alliance alone we have several people who were confused by the system mail we received. Way too late, as I have to add. They choose the wrong profession and are now stuck with the nameplates/cogwheels in their inventory. They are very angry about it. We already had someone quit and delete the game today. 4 more want to do the same if they don't get help. And only half of the players in our alliance have been online yet...
We also have guests from another server we want to transfer to after SVS. They can't believe how badly this is handled and are definitely not looking forward to be overwhelmed by this upgrade!
This is just 1 alliance on 1 server. Judging by the mass of complaints here there needs to be something done and quickly!!!

The new update makes the game super laggy. Remove that yellow halo when you click anything. Why change the effects when it is functioning well? Not all changes are good. When you click collect something, why does it delays so much just to make it done? It used to be faster. It is kind of irritating.
I didn't receive all the speeds, and name plates, and can't open a ticket in game, because I'm still waiting for an answer, and waiting to get compensation to get the valhads I lost in svs without get a chance to repair them. Where I can send a message to complain about the lack of speeds?

So I submitted a ticket, with all of my screenshots, proving it was actually impossible for my server to gain points during the championship match. My attacks didn't even so much as give me kill points towards arms race, let alone gaining points from the ruins we captured, which didn't shield when captured either.
This was the response I got.
Our server was literally unable to advance in the championship due to a game-breaking glitch and your staff has not even so much as acknowledged it.
What do you plan to do about it? It's been 3 days now without a word.
lv1 ruins never gave points for capture, but they should be a pit for individual points

At 3am ET, the update took effect that removed skill tree progress and made everyone start over. At no point during that time was it stated by TopWar or on Discord that you would have to completely reset your progress and then use the tickets to reclass. That very crucial step was provided 2 hours after update was released. There are now countless people like me who believed āprogress will transferā meant that the materials would be interchangeable in a reclass and selected the new class only to find out that is not accurate. The email from TopWar should have been released at update and many people would have been spared. Perhaps this is not a problem for you, but to state that it is āwasnāt hard to work outā when there are countless people with the same issue is tone deaf at best, and honestly, we need a remedy not useless commentary supporting a botched system update release.
You should really read back over the multiple in game mail they have sent out over the last week or so about it states in there that it would work like this donāt blame the devs/ discord mods if you canāt read and understand basic instructions and they clearly sent out that mail after the fact due to people not reading the previous ones and making the same mistake you have Iām sorry Iām all for demanding crap like the BS SvS lagging and repair bay lagging ect but this was clearly laid out well in advance and people complain because they didnāt read š¤·āāļø what youāll are trying to achieve but this isnāt a issue TW should have to be concerned with when there are greater issues with the game

Show me where this was stated explicitly in mail prior to 5am ET. I would love to see that. It is clear that you donāt care about this issue, but I could say the same about issues you may have. The difference here is that I value your concerns and believe that this forum is established to remedy issues with the game. I am not going to discount an issue you have because it is not affecting me. I am stuck at the beginning of a skill tree with no way to progress unless I spend 10K gems. This is not an issue of some failure on my part or on the part of others to read explicit instructions. This update works fine for people who wanted to stay in the same class. It is those who wanted to reclass with this update who were misled and not given appropriate guidance in a timely way. I am happy to take ownership of mistakes that are of my own making from not following guidance, but that is not the case here. Again, feel free to prove me wrong by posting the Top War communication that stated this.
I used all of my own speedups over 1k 5.ins and several hundred 1hr + 8hr.... and another 200+mil of š¢ and corn š½ and I still fall short?
Fix this already znd return of my extras.

Learn how to roll out an update prior to actually rolling it out. Have a roll back in place in the event you screw up.

The way the perk items were done was not as described. I have 1k gears I can't research with yet, if I go combat they're just dead??? This has to be a bug cause that's a terrible way to do it
Point number 4 date and time at the bottom Also for the record Iām saying this isnāt a bug or and issue on the developer said could there have been better communication sure are people not going to read things and stuff it up sure but you had a free class swap and when you look at the mail they sent you with you RSS speed ups and NAME TAGs/GEARs and look at your inventory then refer to the pic dot point 4 it they are actively trying to make it easier for people to lvl up and max out there perk trees as well as the reduced total tags/gears and eliminated the whale speed up day hack in EL i swapped classes and had done all that before the mail was sent out about how to do it but I also ready the patch notes and system mail and if Iām not sure I ask here or in other discordās/alliance chats

Point#4 leaves out the critical component that you must put everything back as you had it using all of your resources and then use the tickets. It is VERY MURKY at best. I appreciate your defense of Top War and the devs, but so far you have not provided evidence that all of us were explicitly told that we would have to reset all of our progress before a class reselect could take place. In fact, Point #4 appears to support the notion that Elite Nameplates and Mechanical Gears could be used interchangeably. A remedy is needed for this that does not cost people a ton of money to correct what should have been communicated in an explicit way as it was 2 hours after the update was released. If I start a new perk upgrade now, will I be wasting the rss if ever the reclassification rolls out early on our server?

They choose the wrong profession and are now stuck with the nameplates/cogwheels in their inventory. They are very angry about it. We already had someone quit and delete the game today. 4 more want to do the same if they don't get help. And only half of the players in our alliance have been online yet...
We also have guests from another server we want to transfer to after SVS. They can't believe how badly this is handled and are definitely not looking forward to be overwhelmed by this upgrade!
This is just 1 alliance on 1 server. Judging by the mass of complaints here there needs to be something done and quickly!!!

I figured it out. Thereās a class reset which costs 5000 gems which refunds you your stuff. (which is useless imo). thereās the class reselect which is 10,000 gems which moves you from one tree to the other at the same progress point. The class reset button is the one that is more obvious, which is bad UX in my opinion.

This class reset update is a disaster. Many of us cannot get our perk strengths back to normal. Either not enough gears/nameplates, or some players with NO speed-ups!
I used to be able to build facilities. Now I'm pushed back to gathering speeds for resources again, and spent 12k in gems for gas and food just to get back to where I was a couple of months ago. I spend over a hundred a month on this game. I'm furious about being forced backwards in my progress.

I'm not sure what to say anymore....... The way this class rework was done is completely disgusting. The complete lack of information that was rolled out has created HUGE issues across every server that got the update. There was no explanation of how it's supposed to work or explanation of how far back we would end up on our research. I too would like an meaningful update on how top war are going to help players that are now currently in limbo. This class change was forced on us and badly executed. You could have made it so much easier, but you chose a confused and awkward way of changing classes.

Generally speaking Top War has demonstrated a total lack of remorse and has provided no customer service through this update or other issues. People will start to quit this game over this. Their greed will ultimately cost them in the long run. If people do start quitting, they should immediately start leaving Authentic reviews in the App Store.
Regarding the Re-Work. I am a fan of the new trees. Although I and most of the people in my server I talk to have ended up waaaaaay short on gears/nameplates. We have been sold a little short š¢

So people giving a total blind change. Also those who spent gems to switch have lost them now this change has been put in place. Well if you made the effort to understand that all of the comments made here are in relation to the same subject matter and not just attack one persons comment when he probably received the same shĆ®t show as the rest of the servers then you would have the correct information to then start throwing the standard response to people on here. People are angry, upset, betrayed and let down by this game. That includes the Greek. If there had been a step-by-step guide from TW how to do the new research and a warning that you need to use the name plates/cogwheels in your inventory BEFORE changing profession I could agree with you.

So in my opinion it IS the DEVs fault a lot of people are in this situation now.
An easy - and for everyone acceptable solution! - is to simply bring back the exchange event one more time. That's all players ask for.
AND I suggest to get rid of name plates and cogwheels altogether and simply replace them with an item that can be used for both professions.

You get back what you put into it. Can't compare the old way to the new way since they redid it. "Training officer" is like doing combat elite or mechanical master from before. The new combat elite is like doing grand Marshall from before.

I do agree with all this. Devs could have done more, but most of us shouldn't expect more from them. We should know they will screw us and the update. Time and time again it happens. We either quit or learn to play around there endless bad decisions.
I don't think they will change what took them a year to do, rubes seems to being helping with some issues. The people that spend gems to speed up the perk time, hate to say it but I don't see those coming back since they gave the time back in speed ups.
Did the whales get screwed? Yes big time but they will still get to the end. I will never finish that perk tree as a low spender. But show the devs the hate and let's see what they do.

The biggest thing here I think is that everyone knows Topwar will bend you over and give you the š, take your money out your pocket and expect you to be happy. I spent money to push three hero and my fifth skill slot for my main march before EL, only to have the tree reset and have other š© stuck in front of what I had already unlocked and then received not enough rss plates and speeds to get back to where I was on the tree leaving me without the skill slots I unlocked after the update. You can sling mud at whoever you want for being upset bc we all got screwed over or you can be understanding and stand with the rest of us. You had money to push you further than needed and didnāt lose anything ? THATS GREAT Iām happy for you but Iād say the vast majority of players got it put in them with no lube and lost more than they had prior to this update. If anything new tech should have been added further down the tree OR everyone should have been given enough materials to end up back where they were before the update. New class balancing is great. Taking what we worked for and spent money on is a hot steaming pile of š©

We took such a fucking huge šš on this one it is very painful for most of us, I mean usually with the constant hero replacements they use lube. But on this occasion it was dry, no warning and while we slept. Then after the bleeding stopped we found our phone, wallet and car keys missing! Iām still awaiting my doctor to stitch me back up!!!!
Aside from the above stated we may have gained boost to all units and all hp but now we have to research attack and Hp again because it was moved to a separate tree altogether ? Come on ⦠losing my fifth slot dropped my march by six even with the increase working the main tree. They made us weaker. This is nothing more than a more expensive and time consuming tree to grab more money out your pockets. Slaughter their ranking by slamming them with negative reviews until someone that represents Topwar comes out and says theyāve realized the issues this has caused and will address them in the near future. I donāt think a apology and a reassurance that the situation is being addressed is too much to ask for. Donāt feed every player with a complaint the same regurgitated message in customer service

Unfortunately name plates are useless to me now that Iām in the mechanical class. It was my understanding that player progress in the tree was to be automatically swapped in the new class. Whilst happy that the promised profession class update arrived, many players including myself decided to switch classes literally the week before it was announced, as the GS role was useless. I now feel I've lost out on 5k gems that I used to change, as it was offered for free the very next week. Bit disappointed.
Well one major bug you have Tara is taking away our resources (oil in my case) to not allow us to stay at the same level. Good luck trying to rope in new players and burning your established players

I donāt think you can unless you have another device or open the game on browser, start an account in the state you want an alt on and bind to a different email edit (slowdown workaround) I can make a new account in a diff warzone just fine. maybe restart phone? and oh bind your account first. just to be on the safe side

I have tested it. You must apply the badge and skin before you start training. If it is the other way around, training speed up wonāt work. Btw, had the same dilemma last time.

With new update, I am training lvl 4 strengthening tower and I don't have options to even build lvl 3 str tower. There should be an option to build the current level of tower while the next gen is being built.

Nice to have a bug thread that doesn't get many replies to. Guess nothing will be or is being done about the lack of rss, plates/gears and speed ups to return players to where we had left off in the research tree. Glad all that extra time was wasted researching these perks to just have to do then again. Glad atleast time is still free .
Our server has requested all to protest by not making purchases and also leaving reviews on apply store. Iāve also added a case of fraud on the apple store, as we have paid for something the devs have now changed and taken away what we originally paid for. A lot of people are suffering and the devs are doing nothing to assist.

Idk where share it so i'm writing here since can be considerate a bug for rockfiekd's users... This tech does nt affects rockfiekd's users, thats can be read as "it makes Rockfiekd's users weaker than other players". Now i mean most of air hero have some restrictions like triggering only on back rows meddle rows or whatever, and obviusly rockfield trigger only if there are only planes in the march, now hĆØ is on my second air team, wich i still use a lot, and with this tech (that both combat and mech get) you nerfed much more rockfield's users... I mean i m considering my self lucky because he is my second team and probably soon will Be replaced by another hero, but for whom using him in main team? I would let him trigger even with mixed troops at this point
Even if i understand letting rockfield trigger with tanks too can make things quite different about suppression. But hĆØ is already useless for many events like WB, alliance and personal defense, sundable event, untill last update hĆØ was useless in warzone too, and now with this tech quite weak in PvP too

I hope they do something. This is more than just a SvS issue. With this happening. Players and servers who are perhaps in one of the servers who could have won TopStar Championship event, can no longer do so because their server "lost" so are these servers going to get hall of glory base skin? Or are they going to do a rematch for the svs that just happened and make TopStar go an extra week. The servers who should have won and didnt because of this bug/glitch, should get the best rewards, and not just svs points to spend.

There was a lot of latency issues for me i used 3 different internet services, Verizon Hotspot wifi, Comcast home wifi and att service
When it happens you need to reinstall the game and clear your cache if you use android. But always make sure your phone has enough space

I can assure you it wasn't the phone, I went and installed it on my work phone as well same issues. Should of tried it on my computer but then you'd prolly say it was the computer.. most my server hit hard latency issues. I can get them all here to complain if that makes it better.
It is not a phone issue. Many people are complaining here today of the latency issues, my phone is a new iPhone 13 max with hardly anything installed, there is plenty of memory and room, this is a TopWar server issue during SVS. Many Vals were lost from our alliance as a result of connectivity and lag issues. 1427/1448 SVS
During the SVS many experience latency but in usual case that is not SVS if it happens then it's up to the device

First of all, good job on fixing lag etc in svs... Gone good for awhile but today... As you can see on the times. From around 16:30 to 17:00 (half of svs) the entire map got screwed up... Couldn't see bases, tiles just disappeared etc. Lost almost all troops before I could react properly since I had to click on the map to see if I could tp there or not...

My FAVORIT bug that bumblebee appeared in my base defense reports even he was not set at all and several other players lost a lot because of same BUG and now I am getting told - that we actually lost - whole we had for a long time 3 ruins from the other server without getting any points - I do not saw any reset of points only that the points randomly developed without logical base @server 1054

server 1054 was the victim of an injustice .. not 1 but 2 times. the first for having taken away the victory by modifying the points of the other server without flavor what reasons there were even though we got the ruin and they didn't .. the second injustice and only 200 gems compensation for cheating us give us only 200 gems? mistakes are paid much more.

What's that a 200 gems refund for the loss of a SvS 1054 won? Despite recurent bugs on those event, this is insulting. The least you could have done is a total refund and rematch or a big compensation for the inconvenience. By the way 1054 took the capital and it's not showed. This was a huge Problem in all my deff Fights. The game choose everytime bumblebee š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£... all my deff setup dont work. I lost all my valhalla and more then 1k units because of these error. I was 6 times zero and my base is empty now.
This svs was a huge mess becous of The bugs on 1054 today, and we get 200gems...thats just bad.. We pay alots of money here and we get nothing back..

Indeed, this is what happened with us in server 1352, and we are waiting for this game to know the truth about this great event. We spent the money in exchange for my compensation, 200 gems, what a shame
So we are now changing results after the fact. You realize people play different when ahead vs behind. If score wasnāt right you canāt just award points
If this is the aprils fools prank devs caught all the servers big time, other than that, is just too BAD, and I JUST WANT A REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!
Although our server (1352) occupied their capital, it did not count and victory was theirs

Same happend to us, we conquered the capital and ruins severam times and it doesnt show, they gave the oponent points because they had problems but so did we and our points didnt have been given back, i even got burned because of a bad service, IF YOU CANT PROVIDE A SERVICE SHUT IT DOWN!!!!! Dont play with our time and money, and those 200 gens are an INSULT

They reset the cap win/loss too. We rightfully took their cap and held ours. 200 gems? How much $$$ was spent? Are they going to reset that too?

They should just do a rematch for all the glitched out SVS's and extend the tourney. This is an insult to all of us. We all invest something. F2P people invest their time, and ppl who use $$$ invest their time And money.
Rematch after they give us back troops, speedāups,gems and everything else we have spend into the game. I strongly recommend everyone to send email to support@rivergame.net whit all the issues occurred during this SVS. š

I don't even want the gems, there just a slap in the face, it's not our fault the game messed up, just give us a rematch if the points system wasn't working correctly
I hope that there will soon be an opinion from the developer and adequate compensation.
There was a great fatigue at the SVS we did today. we won first, but you sent a message at 23.50 and gave 200 diamonds and said there was a mistake. We want to fix the situation and get back what we lost. we are 1054 !!!!! š”š”
I do not think top war takes us players seriously, and many of us spend a lot of money on the game. That's why I think we should sue them because the rewards we get from the game bugs are so bad. The consumer act 2015.. Server 1054

i believe there is no word for the gross disappointment you inflicted on server 1054. I hope that they will make up for it, and that it will be reasonable. by the way, you can push your 200 gems to where the sun never laughs
They were fast to change the winners and all, but to give an answer or to give a proper REFUND is taking ages, i just want to make sure i will make my rights prevail if we dont get an answer and a proper REFUND!!!!!
You can't solve our problem just by giving a small apology and 200 diamonds, you are losing sight of the time and troops. repeat the battle or give back everything lost! we take the game seriously

For a company that has made 10million revenue just in December, this is a pathetic service, from top to bottom, costumer service-non existent, ingame experince not even during EL was so poor with all those people at the same time, looks like your using a 486 computer as server š¤£š¤£š¤£ and to top that those 200 gems wow that was a bit too much, u guys went crazy, usualy is 50 gems, now i dont know what to do with so many šš„³
Tell me why! Aināt nothing really happening, Tell me why! You arenāt fixing peoples perks, Tell me why, we want the old way, now you make more money!!!!! This game is going to rat shĆ®t. Every single person needs to boycott making any payments, report to game to apple store as fraud and leave terrible review. Also mention that the games age should be set at 18+ due to the astronomical financial requirements. Maybe then we will awaken the wealthy devs
