I feel like raven RF will fall extremely short. You're foregoing a sceptre and focus (Or staff/focus if DoV) and losing a lot of +minion. Unless they add a bunch of minor passives/affixes elsewhere, I just don't see it happening.
They can't come fast enough 😔
anyone doing ASC 4 for divs?
the secretive "Abyssal Lich" ascendency was not very popular at all
i wonder if GGG learned their lesson, and will make the upcoming secretive new monk ascendency really popular
this is garbage 🙄
who cares about having a lot of gold keys when the only thing of value are spectrum chests
Inb4 secret loot for opening all chests? Lmao
Abyssal lich is op ngl
Half the community doesn’t know how to be creative though
Also looks like fubgun is doing ranger leveling so 50% of the community bout to flock to that
Let me guess, Lightning Arrow
I dont think the way ascendencies are in poe2 (very sharp and narrow), they can ever be "popular" the way a reworked one in POE1 could be
like, a single branch in a POE1 ascendency can thematically pack half the power of a POE2 ascendency because POE1 ascendnecies are so generically strong to enable many builds
where as the poe2 ascendencies are way more narrow but really good at their niche
so like, you need be a character that can build around abyssal lich and its self buff w/ minions instead of normal lich and its minion buffs
you have no reason to use this ascendency otherwise
the martial artist ascendency is way more generically powerful, but like, if they make a chalupa variant, then that chalupa variant has to do something sharp that is worth taking over any thing else
but like, chalupa is already a weak ascendency lol
Lucky guess.
i don't care to open any of this, it's all a waste of time 🙄
hell, the gold chests give less gold than vendoring a single rare
it's a blue moon when you ever get even a single divine out of even a prime gold arcanist cache
they need to rebalance this soo badly
Arcanists are a good free chest. I've gotten a p.chaos and a few div before.
I've been looking at it. Might make me actually try monk, but if I do it'll just feel like it's another flicker variant with a mobile bell
you'd think spending an hour completing an entire run of sanctum could at least reliably give you 1div 🙄
Eh. Temple skewed everything
The bell is from d3. Wtf
And the whole arpg genre was made popular by d2. It's all the same shit. Just diff devs and ideas.
The robust goldless economy is where PoE has it great. Oops we have gold now.
Gold is what separates players from bots, to an extent. Take the gold away and botters can just hideout warrior the whole game. Not to mention rmters having it easier.
doesn't separeate it at all in PoE1; the existence of gold carries easily circumvents it
and i doubt it's much different in PoE2
game likely needs a decaying gold function for party play
"your gold gain is capped at the same rate as a solo player in party play" is okay i think it's not like loot drops where in party play you're punished with sharing the loot
it'd be great if they introduced a league mode wherein you can't party (but you can still trade); there are soo many advantages to party play that's really hard to compete playing the game without a party 🫤
No pause in party
delve league....
as far as i am concerned
this game is not playable until they finish world building and decide on a universe
that'll be never lol
they're still adding new lore and expansions to poe1
they like making new stories
in the mean time the purpose of the developers is to basically show off assets for sales purposes and customer retention
and to prioritize building relationships that are culturally and individually relativistic
I can't tell if this bait or if they're serious
this is my POE 1 Retainer Build for roleplaying purposes and lore
based on the skill tree
its your game and your free to engage with it as you wish as so long as your having fun with it, however, you are also playing a very different game than the rest of us in this server
i can appreciate every individual "unique" "skill" can be routed to without any other due to attributes
are you a "dev"
developer
for software? yes. very good at my own niche.
very cool
the industrial revolution fits the universe thematically, but i would advise against it for the purposes of world building
this way it is the most fun due to our superior intelligence at engineering and machinizations
if we have 0 knowledge of all other industry
I genuinely didn't think we had 2012 era redditors still living among us, but here is this guy, straight outta of time capsule
Prussia =/= Krieg
Pickelhaube
i dont necessarily pick POE, but i do necessarily pick Pacific Islander/ Maori/ ETC

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
I'd probably mostly want to start a literature "club"
anyone know how to sell a mirror into divines it cost 7 million gold to list it on the currency exchange!
Paralells to "reality?"
List it on currency exchange
anyone know the name of the skill effect or something that looks like rats or bats on the character
its an MTX
Vampiric footprints effect?
also with rats there is rat swarm dodge roll effect
anyone know someone actively selling an asendancy carry?
Check #🔔│trial-carry-wts
yeah, they're all offline now. started this new character an hour too late haha
so i thought i'd ask
Join/hop trade channels or global

No problem!
wtb 4th trail carry
Looking for guild that is active and helpful
Always been calm for me 🤷♂️
hello you seem like the guy to ask is there any gems that have function of killing a foe and summoning a minion like dom blow in poe 2?
wts asc 8 pts plz
Like dom blow? No. We don't yave anything that powerful. Raise spectre or tame beast would be closest but it doesn't work mid combat like dom blow
Will be fun to run Sekhema again
sekh best content
is poe2 supposed to be a lot slower to get through than poe1 or am i doing something wrong?
i usually get through poe1 campaign in 5-6 hours but im 4 and a half hours into my first poe2 experience and i just killec count ogham
Can someone explain to me how "shattering a frozen enemy" works? Can I shatter a frozen enemy with damage other than cold?
probably just a function of you not knowing the maps/routes/builds/skills
act 1 can be casually completed in ~2 hours, the speedrunners get it done in way less
assuming ssf/new league
yes, shatter is just what happens when a frozen enemy dies
yeh that makes sense, a lot feels different
like in poe1 i only kill magic packs and avoid everything else
whereas in this game theres a lot less enemies so im confused if I kill everything or avoid stuff still
also it seems to take me quite a while to kill each pack
yep, unoptimized builds + going after useless/optional objectives probably the biggest time sinks
gotchu, i've been clearing all the quests
i did try typing /passives and /atlaspassives to see if they exist
idk what those are, besides maybe opening up the trees
ohhh did you play any poe1?
gotchu /passives in poe1 shows you the optional quests that give you a book of skill which in turn gives you an extra point for your skill tree
in this game its the quest that gives you 2 points for your tree
if you open the map (default hotkey u?) the skill point bosses will have a + on their icon
like i said, it’s just a different game :^)
that is a very confused list of skills o_O
the vine arrow and contagion and poison blast work together i think
like poison blast when shot through vine arrow applies to all enemies
and then the contagion spreads
how come no one is doing sekhemas
poisonburst is meta this league but i havent played it, i guess it makes sense
im just like taking stuff i think synergises
i took maul because i realised i could put the talisman in my second weapon area
and then just use maul to gain rage
so i maul on bosses til max rage then swap back
sekhemas best content
Yea the campaign is way slower but they are changing the layouts of everything next update
that makes sense, so far im liking it a lot
its a completely different game so theres much to learn
like not having a crafting bench feels weird but
i just ran my first temple and got two exalted workbenches
and realised
i can just keep crafting stuff onto my bow
carry me 4th i pay lol
so far thats what i got
I've come to the conclusion that the more abilities they add to gear the worst it is for builds. :/ so many uniques spoiled with unique abilities that gimp builds on terrible gear.
can you keep/take the exalted orb? cuz u should
i can take the exalted orb from the exalted workbench?
eventually, i forget when or how
Ngl exalteds are useless rn
not for a new player
I bought this game for PS5, can I play it on PC?
If I increase my elemental spell limit by 2 points with the ascendancy, and I cast 3 thunderstorm all stacked up at the same location, will the boss in it take triple damage?
"Hey everyone, does anyone have experience running PoE2 on Steam Deck? I’ve got a week-long trip coming up right after the league start and I’m wondering if I could manage to blast through the campaign and some early maps on it. Not talking about juiced T15s obviously, just the basics. Anyone tried it? YouTube makes it look pretty smooth and comfy, but I’m looking for some real hands-on feedback from you guys
I didn't try much but the experience was pretty poor
like awful framerates / responsiveness
even in campaign
How long time ago it was? I heard that there was a lot of improvments on Steamdeck performance
no. you would need to have another key for PC.
i see
What determines the damage in a detonation chain? Should I focus on making the detonator (Ignite) or the catalyst (gas cloud) stronger?
Gas. Ignite/fire dmg has no bearing on explosion dmg. It's just the cause.
Gas won't explode without a detonator. You can scale the detonator itself depending on the skill, but the dmg from explosion comes from the gas.
Can someone explain how 'Rakiata's Flow' Lineage Support gem actually work. I installed it in Lightning Rod skill, and though it shows no damage increase in the in-game tool tip, on POE Ninja, it shows a huge increase to DPS.
For L.Rod, it inverts enemy lightning resistance, which with most enemies, will make it go negative which means more light dmg
It inverts all other element too if you have other element sources, but for explanation sake, I just used lightning.
So when you say invert, does it mean if a enemy has 50% lightning resistance, they will end up with -50% resistance???
Yes
And does that make the T15 Waystone Suffix 'monsters have 40% elemental Resistance' actually be a benefit to me???
Yes
WOW... I hated those suffixes on Waystones... so with Rakiata Flow, I would be better off using those
Assuming you don't have any other sources that hurt you like ele weakness or ele penetration.
Yup
What do you mean, if I have 15% penetrate lightning Resistance on my gloves, that would hurt my damage somehow with Rakiata flow inverting stuff?
or did you mean the suffixes on Waystones that penalize me??
If running rakiata, you don't want to lower enemy res since it gets inverted.
So if you lower enemy res to -50% (for example) it inverts to 50%
i thought penetration came after rakiata
It doesn't matter. It either works before which makes rakiatas effect weaker, or it works after which does nothing since you can't pen below 0
When I cast thunderstorm, are enemies in it automatically drenched or do they need to get hit by at least 1 bolt to be drenched?
@neon path idk dom blow but pounce summons a wolf on killing what u pounce on
and raise zombie is mid combat too
im 1000 hours in (casual player) and i also took that long at first but now my count ogham kill takes 63 minutes (i just started practicing speedrun. pro speedrun is like 36 mins)
ur not doing anything wrong but ur inefficient
So does unearth, and any number of supports. But dominating blow retains the common/magic/rare of the monster and any monster mods it may have on it, like tame beast and spectre.
gotcha
WTB 2-3-4 stash tabs of rares paying 100 divs just need 20k gold
yeh that makes sense, the transition is hard for sure because im subconsciously trying to play it like poe1. scaling my damage as quick as i can via flat gains through magic items and realising it doesn't quite work that simple here
i did find a nice combo though whilst trying stuff
gas arrow and toxic growth, i spam toxic growth onto a gas arrow cloud and all the spores explode
i did 3 quarters of the last bosses health bar i fought in the first 8 seconds of the fight
it was the son of the water goddess i think
This isn’t worth anyone’s time in this scenario bro
100d ain’t shi, transferring 4 stash tabs of rares will take ages, nobody got that shi on hand
And 20k gold is like ONE (1) kill in any half built temple
Ppl often forget about omen of bartering as well
Can I have 5 electromagnetism rifts active with the electromagnetism support gem, instead of just 3 maximum, if I also have multiplying squall from the stormweaver ascendancy?
How can I get Lightless void to spawn for abyss progression?? All I ever get is Abyssal Depths in maps
POE2 doesn't have ten years of power creep and leveling items lol
compare the time to maps now for the average player to how long it used to take in the ascendency era or earlier
It’s your first time running campaign versus a game you’ve probably ran tens of times
Poe2 campaign takes me 4-5 hours on average when I’m making a new char without twinking it with gear
With twinking it’s closer to 3-4
Jus practised my 0.5 leaguestart witch and, while I’ll probably do it a bit slower to check out the new areas and content
I’m expecting to be in maps by hour 6 or so
twinking sounds like it should take longer
and what we really want to know is how many minutes until first div drop
rmt smell
if u wanna go fast fast only craft one weapon per act, once you unlock a significantly better base having more damage than ur current weapon
but it seems like ur reading the passive tree and skills and trying to learn too so i mean i wouldnt worry about ur time at all just learn the game and on ur second character try going fast
poison bow stuff is good
i think it is playable and fast like poe1 u just need to git gud. u may not have frostblink/leap slam but u have pounce (which u can use with an offhand talisman with like 9 strength and lvl 3 skill gem at like lvl 10 and is worth doing on any character) and sprint, and you can/should manage your inventory (identify, prepare to sell or craft) while you sprint around given you move WASD and have a free mouse
just focus on + levels for ur weapon and endagem +levels/crit. Unfortunately this and crit is ur main dmg source in 90% of builds
Hopefully new changes this patch
who play on standard?
i need desecrate currency for map, who can sell me this
🥹
ange overpriced💀
Nobody gonna sell you for less than ange.
I wish they'd open a season without uniques and meta gems with an internal cooldown. Everybody says their build is super good but all they do is grind gear until they can one shot anything with a single skill. That's not a "build". They should make the game harder by nerfing everything to the ground.
Everyone's like "yo check out my cool build" then I peer over and I see a cast on crit meta gem. What a surprise.
anyone know where the mode " attack without moving" GGG hide at?
i just back to lvling poe2 and can't find this check anymore
isnt it on your equipped skill gem section ?
hm...
Game settings? Or maybe controls? I know on PC, default is hold ctrl iirc
its hold shift
Basic problem is "math" and the smart ppl have figured out all the equations and it just all trickles down from streamers and everyone else.
Other problems include balancing skills and comfort. Ggg wants to stick to this combo playstyle in an Era of "do it faster" gameplay. So their go-to nerf is cast time and cooldowns.
Someone on reddit made a similar argument about "flask" piano and mageblood in poe1 and now we have "skill" piano and meta gems.
but u can open this mode on skill gem section, its lay on wpset1 wpset2, and now it dissapear
I'm at work atm or I'd look. Lol sorry!
minion build coming in 0.5
Minions have been viable since 0.1. Their pathing and AI have been terrible and doorways like in the temple make them unappealing.
I charge double what she charges
the service matches the price though ;)
Supply and demand i kept all the older stuff for a reason
Is there a way to check the total number of players online in POE2, including Consoles, Steam and non-Steam (launcher) versions...
There is one way, being at GGG and having access to that data. :p
? Do you know what twinking is
it takes longer to prepare twink gear thats for sure lol
no
For one run yeah
But potential for much quicker runs is obviously much higher
It’s having all your gear for that character laid out first, so you can use uniques, a tabula etc
Movement speed items, speed jewels
that is not the case for league start though
GGG promised us slower combat. It's already like PoE 1, just killing 50 monsters per second.
Outside of support gems are their any ways to give minions more projectiles?
spirit walker can give them more projectiles
Right now, no.
Problem is they slowed combat down but didn't slow damage. Both incoming and outgoing.
In the genesis tree for the update u can get it on rings
Jesus 60 for a carry? How I just came back to game 😂
They've released genesis tree?
Incursion temple mechanic prints divines, and with some good luck, mirrors and hinekoras also. Drove price of everything else up, but also makes it easy to get currency as well.
it was a mod on one of the rings in the content reveal for minions to fire an additional projectile

Two temple leech runs / 40 minutes
For the skill gem muster, do different spectre count as different types of reviving minions?
Could I just use 30 crappy different spectres for 210% more damage?
or maybe undead skeletons are the same as undead mages?
Pretty sure as long as you ha e diff spectres. It counts, but I think in general the minion skill gems are cheaper than spectres.
the combat is definitely more meaningful in poe2 already tho
It rolled up to 95 or 100% too which is crazy, single line on one ring btw
Hmm, well thanks bub, its hard to figure shit out without path of building and support gems costing half a div each
ravens don't have projectiles, not interested!
show me minion damage over time multiplier please
People cooking up league starters yet for 0.5.0?
shhh
Hii everyone, any informatiion about campaign map layering if they will remain the same for 0.5?
did you ask ai?
no i did not
Nothing was said about campaign. You can expect it to be the exact same with new mechanic on maps instead of temple mech. Small chance they might rotate a4 maps around again but idk.
@hushed zenith Someone on the poe team said this about campaign: "...if you were planning on practising layouts for leaguestart... I would strongly advise against it! Only a few areas have remained untouched. Most have had at least minor layout tweaks, with others being completely reworked."
Same as most leagues + they’ve revamped a bunch of the maps
Each league usually has multiple layouts for each zone, fully randomized for the league, some stay
Except this league, they have tweaked a lot of them, making them easier
So while you can learn the general pathing rules for maps, the telltale signs for each zone
You won’t be able to know the exit for every layout on leaguestart, it’ll likely take longer at first since the new layouts might bait us a bit
Does the poe trade website still work? I'm trying to search things it keeps saying I need to select the proper league to trade stuff in, I can't find anything to change that anywhere
nevermind
Well fuck me then. Lmao. I was way wrong this time haha. I remember the subtle clues they said they were changing.
one of the level developers even said they are changing campaign layouts so much they highly advise not learning layouts
As long as they make a4 smaller, and maybe change up interludes and other introductory content
I could see map pieces changing. Deli island probably changes. Might have a breach thing somewhere now
If you find yourself getting lost in the campaign, keep an eye out for cues to help guide you through in Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients!
^ they made a more in depth video on the changes
It only really serves to help people who were lost anyways, kind of only for casuals
It’ll still be much faster to learn how level generation works and memorise the layouts for later in the league
Although this video helps with leaguestart
Some things are nice though, albeit a bit useless
Like the portals in the valley of the titans
As you could use checkpoints anyways if you were trying to be fast
well if these are the only changes, then the layouts can still be learned now
the video shows the maps looking mostly similar to what they are now
There are a lot of zones to learn
we might get a 0.5 class and/or an act still. who thinks they might be holding back?
I could see 1 or 2 ascendancies but I doubt a whole class announced as a late spoiler
Ranger and Druid are only class now without 3rd asc so I could see that but already having 3rd asc for Druid would be crazy
I'm kinda hoping they just remove checkpoints. There's like only 2 or 3 maps in the entire game they're actually useful? Other than that, they're either pointless and they disappear depending on how you leave the zone and become pointless. They are actual garbage in endgame and totally pointless imho
I buy ascension 4
guys, i need trial 1-8th
guys, i need trial 1-8th
Would it make sense to league start with ED Contagion as a Druid? Or would physical spells be better like entangle, unearth, bone storm etc
Saqawal's Rune of the Sky (Martial Weapon: Gain 5% of Damage as Extra Damage of all Elements) vs. Soul Core of Citaqualotl (Martial Weapons: 30% increased Elemental Damage with Attacks) - Which is better and why (on a Bow - using Lightning Arrow/Rod skills).
physical probably
What?
Usually yours takes are pretty based since you are a more casual player
But
You just don’t understand checkpoints
Not only are they used in so many ways to save time, but they save so much time mid map and have rescued me from bugs innumerable times
I use checkpoints to scout the corners of maps and teleport back to the middle
In endgame they fall of a bit but are goated if you miss something
people are charging 150d for a trial carry now?
with how fucked the economy is thats worth like 100 exalted
divs dropping like $ printing,.. this ain't your grandmas $
end of season economy irl
naah i bought for 40div
I'm a returning player , played a while ago just looking for some friends to play with and get back into the game
Wtf are you scouting for? Like I said, there are a few maps/layouts (like valley of the titans) where it's actually useful, but 90% of campaign can be done with town portals and waypoints.
Endgame is actually useless since you're nuking screens anyways. Unless you're backtracking for some reason, they serve no purpose.
Let's not forget they made waypoints into checkpoints also, which means every map that has a waypoint now has 2 checkpoints in the exact same spot since nearly all waypoints are near an entrance and a checkpoint.
Ppl still play this?
It's very much in limbo waiting on 0.5 release in 2-3 weeks.
Crit damage is supposed to be a cool way to increase all types of damage for all hybrid builds, not the main damage increase of every single build in the game.
What increases the damage the most on spear attacks, a 60 % bonus damage as fire damage from a unique scepter or a +3 to the skill I use from the elemental unique buckler?
Assuming people still need this just Leech a temple run and you’ll have millions
+3
Almost always +skills. The math could be argued for some of the affixes but it will ultimately come down to your build.
Is anyone familiar with a reverse knockback build?
Like is there a way to get your “suck” on in poe2
https://poe2db.tw/us/Empires_Grasp
to my knowledge there isn't a very good build for this since melee is not very well supported in this game yet, and the melee builds we do have are either flicker, or screen wide aoe so "suck" doesn't matter. especially for losing 3x flat dmgs on gloves.
it got used in the very niche case of the 150 mirror team that did 1-100 in 37 minutes
zdps + reverse knockback to gather multiple rooms in one place
i dont get the idea of flicker, seems like the worst efficiency ever, you press a button, auto clear half the map, then walk back to loot?
Wasn't aware you could pull stuff outta the rooms. I know that was an issue for me with props going through doors. Lol
Mostly just the idea of blinking around rapidly. Nobody likes back tracking for loot but that's the "beauty" of flicker
walk of shame
Makes you wonder if it might be good for that new curse wand....
Probably not with no way to really knock back with wand without huge aoe investment which would just make it all a moot point
i wish there was a button to hotkey on pc to pick up nearest shown item
You are the person who made me want to look for this build lmao. I remember seeing the team composition and going 🤔
Would you be willing to share a pob for that zdps pull character
This is actually what I’m exploring. Except, it would be a dedicated pull/curse bot and the 2nd player would the Wander wand.
Makes you wonder if the curse can originate from anyone to make the wand work. Though you'd be limited to 3 curses if not.
It should, the item just reads “cursed targets” or something
I’m wondering if the person holding the way can inflict more curses because of the wand ignoring curse limits, while still respecting the original three from the chronomancer/cursebot
Grants Skill: Level 17 Coiling Bolts
71% increased Spell Damage
11% increased Cast Speed
Magnitudes of Curses you inflict are zero
Curses you inflict ignore Curse limit
Spell Hits Gain 27% of Damage as Extra Chaos Damage per Curse on target
Spell Hits Gain 27% of Damage as Extra Physical Damage per Curse on target
In a party, it just matters the max curse limit. So if 1 person has the wand, you could split the curses up with other members.
And not need to run a ring and keystone.
I was wrong earlier lol
So how do you think it would work on this instance?
Player 1 (cursebot) has despair, temp chains, enfeeble. They have a limit of 3 curses. They slot all these into blasphemy.
Player 2 also has blasphemy with 3-4 different curses but is also holding wand (reads, “curses you inflict ignore curse limits). Player 2 enters the presence of the same enemies as player 1
What happens?
All curse should apply. Player 1 wouldn't need to worry about the curse limit because of wand. Though you would ideally want a player 3 with curses and have player 2 run non-curses that way you get curse bonuses.
Well no
"Curses you inflict"
So ya. You'd still need the 3 from player 1. Wand user would need the rest.
we should have a hardcore-hell channel
Why? Not enough ppl both play it and are in tft. You'd have better luck looking for a hc-hell discord
I think ultimately, there needs to be more curse limit for something like this to work. Wand also hampers with no curse magnitude. Gain 27%*6 curses is pretty huge but the effects of curses not happening also sucks.
pack size too small for flicker now
when enough packsize if u can clear map in 20 seconds u just have strict loot filter
worth to go back for divs otherwise go next
id spend 60 spirit on 61% more dam any day thats better than any curse. the real question is does each phys gain add or multiply? for 3 curses is it 1.27^6 or 1.81^2?
is it 419% more damage or only 327% more?
tactician with 5 curse blasphemy seems strong!
or use a sceptre and anyone can do it. question is is it worth playing a caster build where you have to get into melee range when u could just play spark coc comet
Assuming spark/coc comet doesn't get nerfed.
at least for me id rather play RF if im getting into melee range then i dont have to still left click every white mob
sure my projectiles can fork and split from cursed mobs but anything not within 4 meters of me literally does under 10% the damage
is there a way to make blasphemy aoe actually large? i just did some googling to no avail
is it scaled by presence area?
I wouldnt know their pob or characters to look for, maybe they have info in the video's description
This is what I’m thinking. If I had a third friend I’d do that too lmao, but at least in my example you still get the benefit of curse magnitude from “Player 1” curses
Fair downside imo if the wand slaps
Lots of info says it's presence. And you can test with and without something like alpha howl
hardcore tends to bring out the tears
but discord can too,.. i would think there would be more crossover
It's like all the other uniques. I'm having a hard time seeing them scale beyond "a fun little gimmick we can't give you in any other way."
I still feel like itemization is too imbalanced and no amount of quirky curse-like chaining will ever outperform a gigawand/staff with "insert meta spell here"
yellows ftw
Totally fair. Although there’s at least 1 unique a league though that seems gimmicky and ends up being cracked: deepest tower, surround helm, et .
not scaled with presence but you can use magnified area and ritualistic curse. or any other aoe/ curse aoe
if it dont scale with presence why not? why is there so little information and also misinformation about the most obvious thing to scale on a popular skill?
im convinced society has reached a threshold of braindead
its based on the curse aoe
there's no good info online anymore
if i google "how to scale blasphemy aoe" there is no answer
i have to ask people on discord and the two people who answered have conflicting answers
100% sure it's not presence
i bet you're right but it's weird that presence says aura in the description
even though blasphemy is aura and isn't scaled
sad that the only place to get any real information on poe2 is poe2db. there is no actual wiki anymore
rmt gets too big,.. shut em down
Tbf it's still beta version and subject to change with no notice or info.
fair but because they change randomly you think there would be updated info. if you go on youtube the last actual "about blasphemy" videos are 7 months-1year old
the truth is probably that there's just no interesting ways to scale aoe or anything in the game in general right now, so even those who know it wouldn't make a video on it
like the most interesting thing to scale in poe2 was queen of the forest, that empyrian speed maxxing video was sweet, but then of course they capped it as well as put a fun-limit on everything else
ive been hyped up discovering everything in the game there is to prep for RF. but like other than getting minion levels on gear and picking all 5 minion crit/damage clusters on tree there's like nothing else. you can get a little minion area on ruby jewels and some crit+damage on blue jewels
poe1 might just still be the better game for 5 more years until there's enough content
They are adding whole genesis tree + changing passive tree for minions
PoE2 hype train
just a question for poe2 as someone that just came from poe1. I just beat the viper boss and wondered if my frustrations so far are universal and felt by a few people?
I don't mind the slower more meaningful fights and more thought out gameplay, I do prefer faster arpgs but so far i've not minded it but
with the lack of a crafting bench and much less loot dropping
i've found it really difficult to upgrade my gear and get any resistances or dmg
i saved 60k gold so far and have been checking vendors constantly but after not seeing any upgrades and spending my alchs/other currency trying to upgrade I gave into the gold gamble and just got blue gear
Poe2 is strangely very different from poe1 despite being the "same game". There are a few boss fights that always stump new players - Janmara (a2 final boss) and Viper are near the top of the list. Resistances are mostly unneeded in campaign, though they certainly help. A lot of the gear in the entire game is very narrow. Every piece is just a gussied up copy of the other. Nearly all pieces you're looking for the same stats.
As for campaign, there's 2 schools of thought - save up gold and buy from vendor after every level up. Or, disenchant everything and gamble with currency orbs. As with a LOT of poe2, it's very luck-based. You could find gear in a2 that could carry you to maps if lucky enough.
Lastly, DPS will come primarily from weapon and then support gems. With support gems so rare in campaign, there's not a lot of leeway to "fix" it if it's not working.
I see that makes a lot of sense. I also appreciate you explaining in depth without attacking me lmao
its one of those situations where im trying to immerse myself and enjoy the game but my 1.1k hours in poe1 have felt almost useless
Shoot for the very basic stuff. +Def (of your choice) on armours and then resistances. Don't undervalue the colored rings for more implicit res. Some of the def-type suffixes can be helpful if you get enough but not needed
On weapons: +skill > %dmg > flat/%ele dmg.
Don’t really need to worry about res much until interludes tbh, lack of bench is made up by how easy crafting and gearing is but you’ll just need to learn it
For example, every class has 1-2 builds that are capable of killing all bosses extremely easily with almost no gear requirement
Then in maps you can pivot to your real build
As in poe1
Campaign has become more about "do more dmg" and don't worry about def.
You can definitely have low dmg, because of the slow gameplay I’ve even punched jamanra down with every attack he does oneshotting me
all of this is really helpful ty. i've been playing pathfinder gas arrows
In 0.3 I had a huntress ssf go so bad I spent almost 2 hours grinding jamanra until I got my clear by punching him to death
Lots of deaths, not 2 hours of straight punching
would you say their vision is to keep it this way? or will they slowly add more items and more stuff til you're getting tons of loot the same as poe1?
Gambling and stuff is good but worry less about the individual perfect gear and look for 1-2 good lines on each. Use all your desecrated currency and essences too, especially runes
I think you’ll discover it’s basically the same as you play more poe2, right now you’re basically new
Item drops are pretty abundant when you know what to hit and gearing is kinda a non issue
Crafting is already at a pretty good place I feel
Although of act 3 probably is the driest spot in campaign in terms of the gear progression disparity
The bases are kinda mid for most classes and there’s no real forced currency being fed to you
thats where i've been having lots of trouble
you should be hitting the league mechanic in key maps, it has a list of forced drops
Every league, the league mechanic uses the same list of forced key item drops. Typically things like exalts, jewellers orbs, skill gems etc
through act 3 I haven't felt like i've been getting stronger. I haven't had any currency other than transmuted and augments drop and haven't found a single gear upgrade
i've gotten exalts though tbf
but i like to ssf the campaign usually
i dont like trading through the campaign, it feels like it defeats the purpose
I jus simulated my leaguestart and my witch still oneshot into act 4, despite using a staff I dropped at level 6
Just got lucky with my modifiers on the blue tbh
Crossbows (atleast rn) are so frontloaded they do the same
I see, would it help if I dropped a pob to show what I've gotten so far?
Bows can be a bit rough as it’s dependant on both quiver and bow
so you could see where im probably going wrong
I’d say just make your way through campaign, interludes and act 4 will help speed you along
Just do what you can to finish act 3, abuse the weaknesses if you must
You can always pivot into something else for a bit, especially with all that gold
I’ve never played gas arrow but I do think PF struggles to come online in campaign
It’s more of a mapper and mid-late gamer
I appreciate the help, ty
u seem to use negative words a lot to describe your experience. the best thing to help would be a better attitude. people that are good are happy when they play, noobs get mad at RNG/skill issues
i just did a SSF run today thru campaign in 6 hours I feeling good about campaign, probably not much use practicing further since they're changing campaign stuff anyway
i dont think u can mess up in poe2 with skills really, there are some skills that blow but ull eventually make a good skill by accident and use that. and put in the recommended support gems won't hurt
for bosses u just learn their moves after dying enough times and avoid their deadly moves
games pretty easy if u dont overthink it and get in your own way thinking about poe1
hell i had fun with a thorns playthrough even though it sucked ass
Is it possible to still make a good gemling build?
sounds like your ready for hardcore!
Question. How they can change everything about this unique except for the defenses
They are developers. They created the game and have full autonomy on how to modify it further if they so choose.
That 12 es goes crazy
Tbf it was originally a lvl 5 unique. The only reason it's a higher lvl now is because of the ability they tacked on. Yet another terrible design choice that makes leveling uniques obsolete.
Where is trial service?
hey
yes heres mine https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/vaalssf/character/dabqu-3943/gemfriend?i=1&search=class%3DGemling%2BLegionnaire automatic power charge generation, less movespeed penalty, no getting hit by critical strikes, less skill cost are the main perks and they're greal quality of life
ill say this was my ssf leaguestart and i played it for a long time, eventually farmed enough items to make a decked out spark coc blood mage and made one and blood mage actually felt worse to play. automatic power charges enabling 1 left click to herald of ice explode a screen is pretty great
main problem with gemling is you can't feasibly play ES and there's not that many builds where auto charge generation is that beneficial. for frenzy charges go deadeye, nothing uses endurance charges, flicker strike uses too many power charges for 5 second power charge gen to totally satisfy ur needs
any tips for beginners? iam playing monk rn
Quick question if i buy the Fragment stash tab on sale atm does that carry over as a poe2 fragment stash on 0.5 release date?
yes
collect orbs from monsters
it might actually be time for hardcore
fun note 15% pdr is actually insane
most builds have awwful phys max hit
as naturally you get 4x the ehp with res while pdr is hard to come by
I’m doing a grenade mercenary and I’m not sure the best in slot for a crossbow and the most affordable type
many fun choices
this is good, a nerf to atziri body since it can't socket runes
everyone else will have 1000+ recovery/second
15% phys reduction helmet rune, i wonder how much phys reduction you can get for free on bosy armour/shield/etc and just be rediculously tanky without any actual armour
WAIT
omg
some op combos,.. next season will be off the hook
That doesn’t work with the chestpiece
it depends if they're separate modifiers or not, if you can just take constant life flask effect without taking "cannot be applied to anything other than you"
It’s also gotta be a kalgurran unique to use with olroths
i looked up ezomyte and it seemed like druid stuff and its called "Shaman mantle" so almost certainly it works
Also waistgate doesn’t work as well. The Lavangas doesn’t work with it and it’s the exact same custom line as the life flask node on reverie unfortunately.
wym, having 2 Lavianga's Spirit doesnt double the mana u get? (update: google confirmed this)
maybe they will fix it(/their spaghetti code will support this), i think the one consideration here is that the body armour specifically is plural ("life flasks"..."their effects") versus laviangas "This Flask cannot be Used but applies its Effect constantly"
laviangas: its effect
reverie: their effects
is there any section of people selling hideout that u find on the atlas?
20 quality ultimate flask = 1104 life/ 3 seconds
best mod is sapping: 100% increased life recovered = 2208 life / 3 seconds = 736 life/second
with just reverie you have 48% less life flask recovery = 456 life/second
shavronnes: 364 life/s and 364 ES/s (with 20% reduced recovery rate)
gnashing sash: 615 life/s and doubles ur lifepool (with 35% increased recovery rate)
waistgate: 1185 life/s (with 30% increased recovery rate and 2 life flasks)
best rare belt: 775 life/s (rawhide belt 30%+40% inc life flask recovery implicit+explicit mods)
when you turn reverie into a rune and lose the 48% less mod:
shavronnes: 588 life/s and 588 ES/s
gnashing sash: 993 life/s and doubles ur lifepool
waistgate: 1913 life/s
best rare belt: 1251 life/s
if you play in the bottom of the passive tree you can spend about 10 points and get like 100%+ recovery from life flasks as well. depends how much you want to go out of your way, there's quite a few small passive points (titan?)
play Amazon and all this life/s becomes also mana/s and never have mana issues again
emerald jewel has 15% life recovery mod
i know they plan to nerf leech but this would be free to take as well
Yea
Yea ur cooking
can anyone confirm this works 100%? https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/comments/1tdrihq/weekend_stash_tab_sale/
https://pathofexile2.com/shop/all?filter=special - POE2 https://www.pathofexile.com/shop/item/FragmentTab - Fragment Stash…
yes 100%
ill stake my tft reputation on it
Thats worth about a penny
not bad
Guy was using this in the content reveal
stats are so back?
could be possibility. Also when they were using slams in the latest video its way faster than normal so maybe buffed melee as well
looked like faster leap slam, did they show anything else?
that was the only thing i noticed that stood out
https://youtu.be/g5EWiAbjd8g?is=hiOjnnNP5CjGzPGp @everyone my witch
Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu7SdaFJOVA&list=RDlu7SdaFJOVA&start_radio=1&pp=oAcB
My resistances arent capped in my hideout, because i use golden charm with the spirit of the stag as you can see, which is permanently on, so it caps my resistances, so no point for me to get more resistances, this way i could add intelligence on all the...
stats never left
found mejingjord early in HC,.. easy street
guys do i need to do all trial or i can do the 4th to get all points
4th ftw
not in game
I highly doubt this makes it to release. Heavy drinker supports were rocking 6k hp/es per sec.
At least not with some changes to flask recovery in some way.
yeah it looks a little too strong
well we don't even know what mageblood does, it has to be even stronger than this
but I think they're testing the waters with how tanky they can make mechanics and for people to ignore them because DPS > all else. they made smith of kitava incredibly broken tankiness-wise but because it's slower people don't use it. even in hardcore its only 3%
Honestly, they made maces too slow. Ppl don't pick warrior because maces suck. Armour is also pretty terrible compared to es and ev.
blood mage and oracle are at the top because they scale crit and let u 1 shot pinnacles. 1k life/s doesnt matter when u have that damage
And then, they made maces "worst" by re-releasing the popular mace skills as bear skills.
"ppl dont pick warrior because maces suck" is bad take, class barely correlates with weapon, titan is the 5th most popular ascendency at 6%, because u scale the passive tree (and have extra storage). but you're right that maces suck
yeah smith of kitava just plays bear skills unless they're shield wall
they should've manned up and made mace even more irrelevant by releasing swords
i think armour will be more viable this update. %life on ring, ward, and i think they said they're buffing the values of armour on items
gnashing sash to double your lifepool and 1000 life/s helps too
Life regen doesn't stop 1-shots. And in its current form, neither does armour.
%life will just be abused by other classes using lifetap and life remnants.
life remnants is the same as gnashing sash just worse than 1000 life/s
this will definitely be abused by blood mages
but it could enable armour
I doubt ppl will run gnashing over hh or mageblood. Gnashing was never very popular and its so stupidly rare.
wait why is the cheapest one a mirror
is economy bricked or what?
It drops only from corrupted nexus boss. It's just that rare. Overflow is still good. Same with the ring.
dayum
well waistgate is 1 ex, shavronne is 20 ex, not bad
probably on a budget it would just be good to run reverie, shavronnes, and have a decent amount of ES. no need to go CI, u can let some damage go past your ES and be instantly healed
I would just run shav and let it work on es.
There's also 0 reason to "let dmg thru so you can use an ability". Take the dmg and heal it via shav, or run pure life
imagine having all these mirrors that are going to be locked away to "Early access standard", cut off from the rest of PoE2 when 1.0 releases.
wait on full release we lose everything ?
every standard ?
thats nice to know 🙂
better to have loved and lost ...
I see where you're coming from but making it seem as simple as bad players dont have fun and good players have fun seems a little narrow minded no? Most of the time your feelings towards an experience is subconscious, if it was all about will power and attitude then no-one would be displeased by anything
if it was all about will power and attitude than only people with a good mindset and work ethic would be happy. i mean, that makes sense to me. what do people with bad attitude and lack of willpower get pleased by other than path-of-least resistance slop, gooning, etc
I'm not saying that's you I'm saying this aint your best work
people who are having fun are never bad players. because the goal is to have fun
needless to say, nobody's gunna improve their campaign time by complaining about the game in discord
i was discussing it, not complaining
discussing my issues to people and asking for help
true
just a question btw, this isnt an insult im just wondering. English isn't your first language I assume?
I just wondered, the way you word stuff is a little difficult to understand but I get the gist of it.
pretty much the same, low damage and dying in 2 hits to most enemies
i probably write more python than english and im getting rusty
what have you tried doing to improve your damage and survivability?
thats where my earlier complaints came into fruition
i've checked vendors constantly, tried using currency to craft better items and i'd every rare i've come across
but im just not getting any upgrades in gear
other than vendors have you tried gambling
is your character level around your area monster level
yeh, same level and I tried gambling. spent all my gold and only got 1 rare
did you try farming an area with lots of monsters, creating new instances when you finish clearing the area, and opening any yellow chests you find
I've redone instances a couple times, gone out my way to explore and open rare chests. cleared the vaal temple 4-5 times for upgrades but I haven't repeatedly farmed the same area too much
maybe im just massively unlucky
yeah when i get unlucky i just farm the same area over and over till i get enough items/gold to upgrade
I definitely see where you're coming from on your points though
I'm probably just finding it difficult because of how easy poe1 is
like just crafting your resistances, all the vendor recipes, all the ways to quickly improve your damage and defense
yeah it is more "ruthless" but not by that much. if you got less unlucky you wouldn't have to farm instances. but it's not that big of a deal to do it. i just watched speedrun world record and in it he farmed thru dreadnaught vanguard 3 times since he was low on XP
u can craft res with runes but more often the answer is damage or just avoiding getting hit by stuff. dont run headfirst into a pack and get heavy stunned
especially as a bow character
evasion character will naturally die faster than armour or ES
holy shit
you've blown my mind
im playing this shit like poe1
im running straight through ignoring little hordes and killing big hordes with rares
never going back
not wanting to waste time
yup, killing moar stuff will give you moar items and XP
i think its similar to poe1 though no? like you put your rolling magma down when there's 3+ enemies you can get. you don't need to kill every enemy but when there's "enough" you do
with poe1 you pretty much ignore everything that isnt a blue pack when going fast
never redoing an area
always being 3 levels below the area level
also its like
you can put a skill down and keep running
but it takes me 5-6 seconds per pack in poe2 and im wondering if my dps is just low
the way I see it:
- enjoy the game with good attitude
- naturally leads to paying attention to game more: seeing with your eyes the actual situation instead of preconceived notion
- leads to learning more
- leads to you probably figuring this out without me
but it is pretentious of me to say it at this point, I am glad to help
Is 'Olroth's Resolve Ultimate Life Flask' really worth 750+ divs?? is it really all that much superior to an upgraded Ultimate Life Flask??
I agree with you on that
that's why kids learn so much faster is because they dont have any clue whats going on so they just enjoy doing stuff. u gotta keep that childlike sense of play
it's not 700x better but its probably 1.5x better and when that's the line between life and death on the battlefield it's worth it
Is the adding guard for excess really all that useful??
that is pretty slow
uhh i never notice it but like u recover more instant with olroth than normal instant flasks. and instant is best
mind having a quick glance at my pob?
sure
thats my situation
thats my actual resistances
first thing i see is your rings are old and it seems like you regaled them before you learned you should aug them first so -1 mod. it is normal to go a long time in campaign without finding new ones but make sure you try crafting every new ring you pick up
in the case of regals
i've only dropped 3 the entire campaign
should they be more common?
i would craft more magics if i got more regals
nah 3 makes sense for where ur at
u can try gambling for them but they're relatively expensive to gamble
keep an eye for them in the mage vendor
ah I thought you were talking about rings
same thing for regals. but make sure you do essences since they're like regals too
yes
damn poe1 fucking me over
they're great since some common ones give u resistences
im just assuming they kept things the same
strongboxes can be decent to do too since ur this down bad for items, they spawn a bunch of packs
generally worth it to use cheap currency to upgrade them
i have noticed
the reforge bench
i tried putting 3 bows in
but it wouldnt wanna reforge
same base type and color
is it basically a recombinator?
ur tree looks fine the only potential red flag is you're reducing your poison duration a lot- can you actually put that many stacks on mobs?
6 stacks atm
uhh idk what the meta is, i do it sometimes but it's kinda annoying to collect bases around to reforge
if you don't have essense,.. trans->aug--> regal---> exalt
ill at least collect highest level (82) for my weapon and reforge them. but like perfect trans usually gives way better mod than a reforged blue
i see
i was following this
not sure why my dps seems so low
btw something i notice is he's got armour (not just evasion) on his gear before endgame. that's something you'd need experience to know, but yeah armour is just broken early game so its worth using even on evasion or es character
what auras are active? u have 3 but can only use 2
withering presence and plague bearer
i have wind dancer but im just waiting til i can use it
gotchu about the armour thing
thats cool
im also not using any jewels
i have the slots
i got a really good jewel early but sold it as i didnt realise how early game jewels could be used
i expected it to be like poe1 where its just a waste of points early
im not gunna tell u to copy his passive tree if u tryna do it urself but he get more passives groups than you, you use more travel nodes
ohhhhhh btw he has two different trees
he has a pob which is his endgame setup
but when you scroll down he has an act by act pob
i was following that one
i was following this part
in general you wanna get damage as soon as possible not spent 5 levels traveling somewhere for 50% more damage when u can spend 2 levels to get to 30%
u aint getting these ones
idk what ur doing in the monk area but its not giving u damage
for that part he had like an ordered list to what you should get
i was following the priority section
in order
what is this stuff then
i have no idea lmao, i havent followed that part
thats on ur pob
you clicked that accidentally i think when moving your mouse around
ohhhhh
thats an ss of my pob atm
i did fuck up a little at the top right
and went the wrong way around
hmmm i mean it looks like ur following the guide
i think it could be one of those situations where the skill isnt easy to level with but its most of an end game situation
more
the guide might just be bad
lightning arrow will be easier to level and your bow has lightning dam on it xd do you have enough gold to respec a lot?
i seeing some red flags here
idk how much u can respec with 53k gold but try removing all ur poinson stuff and see if u can get close before committing
do this unless ur keen on not seeing damage
i appreciate that ty
okay
your damage looks good
problem is you probably could do less and still kill them
the poison duration is the issue
i've tried shooting a line in front of them and continuing
but it always leaves a good few enemies on 2-3% hp
i imagine a 3 move combo is something u do on rares and u could just shoot vine arrow at stuff
so the situation with normal enemies is toxic growth doesn't hit them if i keep moving, they move past it by the time it explodes if i keep moving
yeah you've invested a lot into max poison stacks but i highly doubt you're putting 6 good poison stacks onto white mobs
gas clouds dont kill them even with 3
and vine arrow only has 1 down at a time
if i shoot another it swaps
so im kinda of stuck having to fight every pack over 5-6 seconds and then move on
and it just slowly eats hours out each act
which i dont mind
but id like to go faster
lightning arrow seems fun though
its my favourite skill in poe1 lmao
go to 25 seconds
u see how u get to the pack, then stop, then shoot, then move some and shoot, then stop again, before you keep going?
ohhhh that was me just showing you my dps
ideally even if it does take 4 buttons to kill those monsters u can at least keep holding W
i could record another and show you how i usually play
i cant atm cause my girlfriend sleeping across the room but if you're free during the day at some point i definitely could
its 1am atm for me
sure EU friend
first time fighting that boss
or just swap LA since it sounds like you'd like it anyway
lol when u said first time i was waiting for u to get 1 shot but i didnt think it would be .5 secodns into the fight
yeh lmao, i beat him second try in the video but i didnt expect his first attack to be that
he hits hard
yaknow ur damage isnt bad really and u got good technique i bet its just shit for leveling
u cant 1shot white mobs because of how the skills work
that boss dam is better than u need it to be
but ur white mob clear speed is terrible
how long until u can equip Spiral Volley? since that's clearly how you will actually clear
i get it after campaign im pretty sure
but yeh thats how i've felt
low defense, low clear speed but i do good boss damage
so its felt pretty sure
pretty shit
damn
i dont blame ya for feeling the game is slow lol. i bet if u didnt follow a guide tho u would have tried lightning arrow + lightning rod by now and been fine xd
more than likely lmao. i have the knowledge to not follow guides but i like to play quite casually without thinking too hard after university/studying
normal
so i end up following guides
i dont mind try harding gameplay but the thinking part i leave to the content creators
u got unlucky with picking a bad guide more than unlucky with items tbh
imo poe1 build guides are required for 99% of players before 1000 hours. imo poe2 build guides are not required at all
like maybe bottom 10% of IQ needs build guide
but u troll your own ability to learn game with build guide and get in ur own way
or something
i feel ya where its nice to not have to think when u play so u do build guide. u do get there once you've played a similar build before
yeh i do agree with that, i think i usually follow them simply for the skill trees
knowing that content creators will have fleshed it all out and found whats optimal
so i dont have to make the mistakes
but i agree
next league ill try to make my own thing
so the thing is, in poe1 you kinda need to get something relatively optimal or build will not function. but in poe2 really if u just pick stuff that sounds good u will be fine. I only thought ur pob was troll because i misclicked and added 10 useless travel nodes
like "increased projectile/attack damage" is probably good for a bow build so get that
a good tool that can meet u halfway is just looking at passive heatmap on poe.ninja and see what people are mostly getting and get something that's common or at least not never used. https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/vaal?skills=Vine+Arrow&heatmap=true
Explore builds and passive tree heatmaps of Fate of the Vaal.
gotchu, thats good to know. itll make future building much easier not treating it like poe1
oh yeh i used poe ninja tons for poe1
to see if a guide was outdated
check this out
https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/vaal/character/POE_Mikasa-1887/DRUID_NEVERMELEE?timemachine=hour-3&i=17&search=s%3D%26timemachine%3Dhour-3%26class%3DRanger%26heatmap%3Dtrue
on hour 3 of this league this guy is the fastest toxic arrow build. he's using your exact build
Explore economy and build overviews for the action role-playing game Path of Exile.
Its a while ago but I do remember them saying that Early Access "Standard" would be isolated from "Full release Standard"
he's keeping up with everyone else (90% of people are playing grenades)
then click hour 6. he's only lvl 44. now he's way behind, lead is lvl 53
[Early Access characters will not merge into the main standard league at launch; instead, they will be moved to a separate "Early Access League"]
oh i see so same issue as me
yup
i was fine early game, damage felt decent
then around act 3 beginning to mid and onwards
it started feeling worse and worse
ah I think I just clicked on a bad player. bad by the way possibly due to that passive tree you share with him
did a practice campaign today... insane luck on rares giving me high dmg % wand, focus, staff, multiple uniques I can use, a divine in act 4
my league start is gonna suck ass compared to this practice run
guy like u (no ascendency) https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/vaal/character/POE_Mikasa-1887/DRUID_NEVERMELEE
guy thats faster (5 levels higher with 2 trials done)
https://poe.ninja/poe2/builds/vaal/character/oopssl-6209/Pathofoopssi
I think very importantly, which was what I was thinking could be the problem, is both are not taking the "double your poisons" ascendency point. becuase that has 35% less poison duration. aka reason why your poisons are stopping right before killing mobs
Explore economy and build overviews for the action role-playing game Path of Exile.
Explore economy and build overviews for the action role-playing game Path of Exile.
there's no way ur getting enough value out of 6 poison stacks this early to justify an ascendency point to lose 35% duration
i see, definitely a bad guide then
should've gone with fubguns guide
dispite him sucking in almost every way as a person lmao
despite
it starts with "Hit the favorite button if you enjoy this build <3" if you have the best guide u dont need to tell people to smash like smh
i dont watch fubgun since "fubgun" sounds lame af
and youtubers are trash
only one i watch is ben
cuz hes legit
a lot of the community heavily dislike him and his audience
they're called fubgooners
very interesting
they defend his every action and follow his every action without question
he drives prices up on every strat he touches, theres lots of evidence that he potentially rmts
such as having a headhunter day 2-3 of every single league for years now
like it appears out of no-where off stream, never on stream
let the people have their fun but i aint reading anymore text about youtuber dramas
not my swag
yeh i get that
Yo isnt there a chanel to find copies of mirrored items for poe2? Ive only found for poe1
Is 0.5 gonna fix endgame and infinite inflation? Will there be any exalt/divine sinks enough to prevent it
Cuz I stoped playing after 0.1 cuz it was ridiculus when u had to pay 12831 exlats for 1 divine and 100 divine for any usefull item
That's just crazy take. His full league starts are documented on full twitch videos, brother.
Also lie
ask around the community a bit
you'll learn some things
that you clearly dont know
I don't need to ask anything, I know you are lying
okay buddy
To be fair, when you play the game as your job and put in 16+ hours a day on leaguestart. This is SO easy
Snowballing currently is so fucking free
This league I had more money than I knew what to do with on leaguestart because it just kept snowballing
Right now, we don't know enough. Atm there is no currency sink, so unless temple remains unchanged and carries economy again, you can probably expect the same gradual rise in prices.
I put all my money into chaos and it skyrocketed and I pulled it out before it dropped to the floor
i agree he's a great player and has a lot of knowledge but theres a lot of speculation in the community around the sheer amount of currency that seemingly appears from nowhere
He gets handouts this is pretty well known, he doesn’t exactly hide it
I don’t really like the guy but he’s not doing anything crazy, hes not even that good at the game
And his results definitely don’t scream rmt
Putting in time != great player
He’s no Ben
Stop saying that without proof or evidence, u look stupid.
i agree with the handouts part but thats where the speculation comes in. it wouldnt be hard to hide an rmt by disguising it as handout
its obvious you dont agree with me and you already stopped responding to me
so maybe fuck off?
we aren't going to agree on this and as i already said "sure buddy"
I don't like fubgun because everything he touches doubles in price.
" lots of evidence that he potentially rmts"
Where's the evidence?
"like it appears out of no-where off stream, never on stream"
Proof?
"but theres a lot of speculation in the community around the sheer amount of currency that seemingly appears from nowhere"
Who's speculating that? dumbasses like you without any proof?
That's a fine reason.
Joe's reasons tho...
lmao, explain to me how you could prove an individual rmts if they were receiving currency off stream
hense the reason many get away with it
hense the reason jenabu got away with it for years
OK, u're THAT stupid.
Nevermind then
A counter argument to negative IQ reasoning is a block
GL.
I didn't read it. Lol. I'm a filthy casual do anytime he think-tanks a new build and some piece of gear skyrockets I get fucked lol
joins the server 14 days ago, doesnt speak at all during that time, comes out of nowhere to insult someone
absolute troll
Says the stupid fuck that is here for a month
LMAO
I left the server when the shitstorm was too much and rejoined
thought you blocked me?
Sounded like a good opportunity to insult you one last time
sounds like you're a little girl with no impulse control
if i reword it I meant to say lots of speculation, instead of evidence
🤡
but a lot of people think his handouts could be disguised rmt because of how frequent they are and the quantities they're in
Sorry, I don't need a rehash. So, we think he is buying divs?
Cut it out right now guys, it already escalated to a point of insulting
lets be honest here, the guys harassing me. its almost completely 1 sided
Is it fine to accuse someone of RMT without proof here? just trying to be informed and all...
Im not taking sides of anyone and not pointing anyone out, don't worry
Not like we could do anything about it, we are not GGG, and if its his opinion, as long as he says that
if he wasn't banned, then there is no proof of RMT
no matter what anyone can think ofc
theres a chance, theres also a chance he's not at all. i was just sharing what quite a lot of players think
Nobody is cracking down on the buyers. Lol. Profiteers might get busted though.
Ok, so I can start saying "theres lots of evidence that he potentially rmts"
Instead of he, you...
And it's fine? good to know, I'll start spreading that until you learn to have some decent rules here.
and i'll never show the evidence, of course
hes not a member of the server, im not accusing in an attempt to have someone banned. im simply discussing what a lot of people think in the community about a content creator
when you make videos you open yourself up to public scrutiny
Up to you if you want to spend your time like that
Just please take it to #💬│yapping-general
Can you learn to be a better mod and not send "no access" links? jesus.
Wtf are we doing here
you may have the channel hidden
I'll find a better place with decent rules
there is your good mod advice
seems like he blocked me, he will never get to know that he has the channel hidden
Not really how this works
if there are hard proofs, and people report it to TFT, most likely he would get banned imo
People aren’t banned for rmt even with abundant proof, they need to really mess up to be banned
Not saying he does
i don't really know their politics tho
yeah, i totally get it
but never heard of a case myself that there are tons of direct proofs against someone and that someone not being banned (ofc, im not that cultured in that topic either)
thanks for the recomendation, YouTube, I think I'll pass on that one
Pay to win is totally against the spirit of PoE! Shame the rmters!
I get turned off when 3rd party websites let rmters run ads.
Youtube runs rmt ads on PoE videos
Doh!
Black market divs. I wonder what divs will be going for. How much are folks willing to pay to win?
6y ago? Safe to say they abandoned that? Lmao
How much do asc carries typically cost at league start?
Everyone should repent and believe the gospel.
I checked those with a fine tooth comb
True, in my personal opinion religion is pretty similar to politics talk, so please go to #💬│yapping-general if you can't avoid it
Ty for being understanding ❤️
probably, we havent heard anything on it in ages
@tacit sun did u quit daoc eden
see nobody having fun anymore once someone decides to jelq about internet drama
smh my head
hey guys, where would I go if i wanted to be carried for my ascendancies?
Did it actually launch?
someone selling ascendancies ?
As far as I know, no.
Man... a build that can do high tier maps while 20 levels behind
I need to learn this power
trial carry me pls?
carry ascendance?
Hello, does anyone know if I can create a private league for the expasion on the night of the launch or if I can schedule it before it launches on the patch?
🔔│trial-carry-wts me too
Does that help at all?
Wonder if sekhema carries explode in price as people wanna do it even less
No. It explodes in price based on other content and ease of currency.
Temple/incursion made crazy div/hour. And so asc carries go up in price as well. As did nearly every other form of farmable content
Yes but it still correlates to the amount of people wanting to do carries, some might move to maps instead
Also safe to say with 0.5, the amount of valuables unique currencies and items for each league will mix things up a lot
It doesn't matter who wants to do maps and who wants to do carries. The prices are based upon the easiest way to make currency. And right now that way is temple. And unless the revamped mechanics change that, it will be the same in 0.5
This is incredibly ignorant of supply and demand
Prices werent even as extreme when i ran carries in 0.4
Supply and demand is run by the greedy. It's not controlled by anything other than the whims of those in control. Both supply and demand are near nothing which dictates price should go down or at the least, stay the same. But those that are still playing want the same income they had when everybody was playing, so they drive prices up.
What you said is verifiably false.
Prices always climb at the end of the league. It's just how it is.
Well yes. Inflation naturally occurs. But you can always see how moneymakers and valuable items change the moment people want it and also how it crashes when supply overwhelms demand
We see that happen in smaller scales when lemmings follow streamer builds
yes, in smaller bits. But for more mainstream services like asc, we don't see that fluctuation. We just see high prices and high inflation
It it the greedy manipulating it, but not a single person
Well, maybe. I am convinced tho that if there would be a lot more carry services, prices would go down as supply rises. It's just that it mostly doesnt as demand also goes up.
Cant blame people, max sekhema requires a bunch of investment to get going well
It's a video game with 0 real world consequences. Prices don't come down due to oversupply. Greed dictates all. And if not greed, envy.
I don't disagree that good carries spend a good amount on building their relics and their build. And I don't have the personality to run same content endlessly. But every aspect of the game requires the same devotion
Well kinda. Prices often arent logical. But supply and demand is the main factor
the players keep printing money
Ever seen a streamer popularize a build and buy a cheap low demand item? It skyrockets in price because people buy it
Which is why I hate ppl like fubgun advertising lol
yea, new build guide video? early bird catches the cheap items and flips them back for massive profit
He isnt at fault. Nor is any streamer. Its a bubble created by lemmings
But not everyone buys those items foe their build a lot of ppl buy the item and flip it because they're wanting to monopolize the market or turn a quick profit
Partly for low supply items. But its also people demanding that shit after it becomes suddenly populat. Without flipping, items would still increase in price drastically
The reason sekhema carries are profitable is cause people really want them throughout the league
Not because people monopolize it, cant really do it with this many carries willing to undercut
Still, i agree flipping plays a part. Part of making a profit lies in playing peoples aversion to risk and bot wanting to wait. But thats a different topic
A lot of it is just greed imo. Ppl want the same profit even though there's less supply, less demand and less currency in rotation.
Sure. But dont ignore the greed of the buyer that wants high risk stuff for the same price when theres less supply, higher demand and more currency. Evryones greedy .
So we're in agreement that greed dictates the market and not supply and demand? Lolol 😛
No. Were hopefully in agreement that supply and demand are the market and it is affected by various factors like greed with both buyers and suppliers, aversion to risk, willing to pay extra for time and many other factors
so what do I need ready to be part of an ascendancy trial carry?
verficiation and the ability to carry i assume
I mean what if I'm not even in act 2 or something like that, what's the bare minimum?
and also being an honest businessman
a sorry i thought you meant to sell it. Alright so you need to be verified afaik and then atleast be able to enter the sekhema trial in your own act 2
i carried like lv25 people already to insta give them all 8 ascendancy points
get verified, reach the sekhema trial, get the money, find a carry and follow instructions
what do you mean verified, discord verified?
on this discord yes. im not sure if buyers need to get verification
Ah ok so only the sellers
you probably need to otherwise you wont see the channel
I think I already am. aight thanks for answering
also depends, standard or league?
league
I didn't play this league. I just wanted to test some stuff out for the next league but now they're selling carries at like 50 divines >.>
Inflation is mad
welcome to the end of the League
next league it will be less than a divine early on afaik
Anybody have a spear huntress league start regex for vendor?
Spud the King just shortly released a guide on mobalytics and on youtube where he shows his regex.
"adds|d ph|nt spe|m li|ile sk"
the guide i intend to go for now doesnt have a regex sadly. doesnt even show the ascendancy points. maybe i should just go for Spud, atleast he updates guides
regex are really easy to make. you just take all the mods you want and shorten them to fit in the search bar.
9 skills isn't enough
Path of Exile 2 Regex
better to make your own. this one uses too many characters for longer regex
the spudking regex? yeah, its a build with a lot of skills to explode bosses
Spears are beta anyways
you take that back
Spears were and are the king of martial weapons in poe2 and irl
but yeah Spud's builds use a lot of skills but its the price you pay for nuking the campaign
Why is Tangmazu's Reliquary Key selling for 550+ Divs, when none of the items that can drop are worth half as much (as per the data available on POE Ninja)
the key is the rarest drop
what do you mean? ppl want that un-id'd strugglescream to scam for that astramentis
I have no idea what you just wrote... lol
in 0.2 when stat-stacking was super popular and astramentis was 100d+, scammers would try and sell a [Stellar Amulet] and trick ppl into thinking it was an astramentis
ok... but why is this relevant to this key selling for so much... when none of the drops apparently can fetch that much... unless some version of the drops can fetch a lot more... but that must be such a tiny chance...
I decided to put it up for sale... if I can get the lowest asking 568Divs for it... it's fine by me
why are csgo keys 10 times the price of the average item you can pull? its just because some are addicted enough to gambling to actually try it
because green megalomaniac is funny
0.1 but yea
"quitting [unid strugglescream] 10d"
and so many people got scammed
in 0.1 i thought you could chance orb an ingenuity
you've never been able to chance boss uniques. ppl always asked lol
