go to skills and u gonna see that the specific gem is imbued by lvl 1 xyz

coin of knowleadge = corrupts a lvl 20 gem adding a lvl 1 imbued intelligence support gem to it

same for dex/str gems

I am pretty much doing them as juiced as they can be. I believe the only thing im missing is I run 4 deli orbs instead of 5. Apart from that I'm running bloodlines, cascade, currency chisel and I roll them to 160%+ currency instead of 140%+

the last one or two of the Astrolabe should be full mirage maps cuz of the astrolabe bonuses. But yeah, this Chieftain is somewhat slower than the Charlatan build mainly due to Shrine/HH buffs but still goes fast enough while having a lot of damage and being quite tanky

are you asking if you can swap to a bow -> raise spectre -> swap to a 1 handed weapon? if you can do it with a 2-handed weapon, i'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to with a 1-handed weapon

i figure since the game internally represents sockets as X-X (linked) or X X (unlinked), then as long as it's in the first 3 sockets, you can have it be in the same spot according to the internal representation. i guess it's possible the same code that decides how the sockets are displayed (which is what changes from 1h to 2h apart from max # of sockets really) changes if it'd despawn, but i doubt it

Note you can't use flammability as it overrides your ascendancy Ramako, so you need to either get rid of that ascendancy to slot flammability or find other curses like temporal chains or enfeeble to double up.

@warped quartz personally, CWS is already gem starved and you either have to make ascendancy changes, which means also slotting exposure in too or you go all defensive curses.

Since I mostly do ultimatum catalyst farming all the mobs just literally explode and I think im fine defensive layer wise. I dont know when the last time I had a death. So it was easier to pick vamp so I dont burden any other part of the build.

First time playing poe1 and tried to make me a flicker strike build without following a guide, only looking stuff up on the wiki and using my poe2 knowledge, but I feel I am stuck, don't really know where to proceed now, should I be stacking up ES and become way tankier or should I find someway to scale up that flicker damage. rebuke of the vaal is a very slow sword, getting something with a higher attack speed wouldn't be hard and you'd certainly feel better.

Bronn's is fantastic for flicker, but it feels like you're trying to push the whole ES thing a bit hard

you also don't have frenzy charge generation which is mandatory to solve on flicker

Tbh the frenzy charges are working fine, generating with poachers mark on uniques and bloodrage gets me to 9 stack easily and I can maintain that fine. The whole ES thing is more of a snowball situatio. I was dying too much and that was my solution lmao.

Regarding the sword, I think the in-game numbers is what is funking with me, because when I market search I can't seem to find a weapon with higher dps for less then 5div. But I can see that I Might be missing some knowledge to truly understand damage scaling

i ll try to explain how i see this - you are a glass cannon with only some evasion, 4 flasks doing same thing (replace unique ones with jade+stibnite for extra evasion for example), you use life (and invest into chaos res) but dont get life from items and dont scale it on tree, you do have some es and trying to scale it a bit but thats not very effective, and, you are using a shield but dont invest into capping block with the tree. Speaking of tree, it seems like a ton of points are spent on pathing around, and 5 jewels seem very random. My logic would be here to keep less uniques, leaving boots/body and a weapon for now too, replacing everything else with es/evasion on good item bases (like haunted bascinet/supreme spiked shield/phantom mitts) with life at least, shield also with block chance maybe, and jewelry with life too, scale all that with es/evasion nodes, life nodes (15% inc life if no life mods on body armour one for example), and maybe even suppress if you have extra points, while you are at this side of tree anyways. Might not be greatest ideas but better than what you have now probably, hard to tell more without pob, try playing around in it if you have one already, it is fun to theorycraft stuff

Thanks for the tips! I have some of that same problem in poe2, but way less worse. I think i just start to improvise during campaign and just take whatever makes sense to me at the time, by the time I reach endgame some stuff doesn't really make sense, like me having so much chaos res and low life, almost like I am afraid to make a decision on what I want. I think its just hard to step back and look at the bigger picture sometimes and how to fix it when you are already so late into the game, big changes seem scary. But I have been thinking of scaling a lot more my ES. the jewels end up in the same category, lack of knowledge and just want to find a quick solution, the numbers on the jewels just seem so easy lol.

Also check out ice bite support and fortify (read their descriptions) instead of energy leech and faster attacks, that might help too, (and you are not dealing crits with that mastery but have crit support in your weird 3 link on helmet, but you could probably invest into crits on that side of tree easily)

if theres not a specific content you want to do yet there are plenty of other nodes that aren't content specific, ones that just increase explicit modifier effect and map drop chance

if u want a recommendation still, id say pick up all the shrine nodes, they will make you stronger and thus finish maps faster

there's significant portions of the community doing each different type of content in atlas tree, if anyone tells u theres an ultimate strat they're lying

the question of "what do i do" is a lot more nuanced because it relies on what your build is good at, what you personally like doing, what budget you want to put into each map, if you want consistent profit or fishing strats, if you want atlas strats or non-atlas, etc etc etc

it depends on your investment, both into your build and into your strat(s)

let's say it's a fresh new league, it's hour 8 and you're into t16s. your build isn't going to be good enough to run whatever giga-juiced strat will end up being meta that league, and you won't make as much currency. but relative to the cost of upgrading your build more, you'll make plenty of currency

when a league progresses, and most players' builds progress too, you'll naturally be able to run harder content (with a better build), and you'll invest more into that content, but it's also going to take more currency to upgrade your build

depends on the strat, and in modern poe that's Eh for most of them. deli does add a lot of difficulty, mobs, and rewards, but in the current state of the game you generally would want to see that on a map with originator influence (so that you can get the "t17" mods that also can give {x% more currency}), and probably also a full-mirage map to basically just double the entire map

this map, for example, would give way, way more currency, especially if you're running a strat focused on raw currency drops (this league that's breach+beyond)

strongboxes are a relatively easy and consistent strat, it's not uncommon to see beginners run them and i don't blame you for it, they can be a good way to get a feel for how investing more into ur maps gives u back more in return without having it be tooo up to chance (since almost every map will profit)

*the reason strongboxes are good with mirage is the mirage will make a lot of them into scarab strongboxes, which will pretty frequently drop high value scarabs

i'm honestly not super familiar with poison srs, but iirc it's a relatively clear-focused build (i.e. it does better with a lot of lower-health targets than a few higher-health targets), in which case a lot of this leagues' main strats r good

for uniques, you're just gonna have to get a basic idea of what is and isn't valuable

i can tell u right now that for leather and heavy belts ur looking for a headhunter and a mageblood and if theyre not those then u probably ignore themn

but for rares u basically never want them on ur filter outside of levelling. there are special clauses included in settings for sites like filterblade where you can enable showing rares if and only if they have a drop-limited mod (veiled mods from execution; delve-specific mods; incursion-specific mods, that sorta thing)

overqual will be enabled by default so u wont miss those

ideally u can hover over smth for 0.1 seconds and ignore it or double-back and go "oh shit it's ACTUALLY good this time"

a good rule for culling ur filter is if theres a 0% chance u wanna click it, then it shouldnt be on the filter

u can copy paste items into the "simulate" section of filterblade to see what rules are making them show up if u wanna know whats causing a specific item to come up

yeah, poe filters can't differentiate uniques apart from the base type, so if there's a boss that drops a high-value unique of X base type, all uniques of X will show up.

if you don't run the boss ever, you can just take that off ur filter. and if u do run it u could just hold alt to show all items (or a different key if u've experienced the crash and rebound it out of anger like all of us eventually do)

I'm kinda new to the game, i'm following a build guide, however i have some issues with the chaos swap...

I took Overwhelming Malice node to convert some damage to chaos, and I equip void manipulation support gem but my dps is almost non-existant when i use void manipulation.

With void manipulation :
11k dps
Without void manipulation :
89k without hitting anything.

LIGHTNING ARROW. its kinda first time that i dive into delirium etc with this build. im not that experienced to plan any build upgrades, especially in endgame. i can farm 1 layer delirium with +%100 currency 8mods. what can i focus on next or any pre-made build like i can copy or try to make? would like any advice honestly

theres not that much what you can do, you can catalyst the taming and get a bit more life on boots but this will still be luck based defence (evasion) with another layer of luck being steelskin on automation, but what else you can do? better body armour without life mods for mastery, maybe a rare helmet (also, can you craft crit chance hybrid with attributes on bow or another attributes dont allow that?)

3 easy things i can think of would be upgrading your chest, with all the respect, it sucks and could be way better, then start trying to cap suppress or look at ways to do so, after all the difference is huge between 100% and 50% (dont know if spark builds use to cap it) and changing your annoint, after all either you are not using it or its just 1 point less u spend, after all you have the annointed node connected
