Hi. I read that before installing a new kernel update it's good to make a copy of the system with Timeshift, and in case things don't work I can revert to using an older version of the kernel by going into "advanced options" in the boot menu.
But I entered the boot menu by pressing the "esc" key when turning on and I don't see said option.
I just want to make sure that I can recover before updating. What am I doing wrong?
This is a HP laptop.
