I used the recycling machine on my trash - and went to the ocean floor to clear the trash on the entire area. I've done that a few times. I also play on the slowest setting so each day is about 40-45 minutes. Having sprinklers helps not spend so much time watering.

I'd like to put down two chairs facing each other, just as an example, but I can't rotate them and there is nothing in the controls either.

Making money from farming in fall : 10,000-20,000 c per day. I have around 700 seeds spaces and the greenhouse. When autumn starts I have around 50,000 c to buy seeds. I usually buy them all for diversity in farming, including the flowers. I sell the flowers in bulk because I can't process them in mass yet. I process the rest as much as possible. I start the day by taking what I have in the production machines from the previous day and put what I have left in the bag, then farm crops that are ripe. I orient myself to see what goes faster in production. Then I go to the farm and then to the wild one one side of the map : the forest.

At lunch I go back to put other crops in the production area, then I go to another part of the map to pick from the wild. I go back to the farm at 16 to exchange crops for production machines. I repeat after 16 the same process.

At the end of the day I put all in the bin, but is not enough space...

In the end I spend my money on decorations... tons of them... I am on winter and I can give some tips from how to start.

So in winter I start the first day with buying the seeds from general store : 300 snowdrops, 200 cotton, 200 tea and plant them all. The second day I go check all my chests and what I do not need and can't process I sell. On 3rd day I sell all honey that I process in fall and some drinks, but depends on spaces.

On the other days till the seeds will produce I produce again in the machines what I have in chests and from greenhouse and go hunt the map for wild things. I look in my chests and process everything. I can make from 8,000- 30,000 c per day.

I just checked, 1.1k for gold wine and 1.5k for osmium grade. Not too much gap, only can be impactful if you farm large amounts of wine which requires a large amount of fertilizer as well. My point was if you can upgrade your Crop quality through essences, and it is just once and for all then why you should choose a route to use fertilizer for every tile of your land, I assume we can upgrade the quality of our seed to osmium as well after gold ??. So I still don't understand the perk of using a fertilizer that requires higher resources while you have a more sustainable method by upgrading them ?

In scenario when they don’t run out (Regrowth plants + Greenhouse) their value stays indefinitely until you take them. And that value adds up.

And the answer is both because it’s not really a choice when the point is to upgrade everything, and the game is to increase your rng as much as possible.

Fertilizer 2 is great for crops that reproduce every X days, especially in greenhouse since they dont decay every new season. I have 187 strawberry crops in the greenhouse right now with 187 fertilizers 2, and every 4/5 days I would generate at most 10-30+ osmium strawberry quality crops, and turn them into jam/juice

Since upgrade quality seed in lab to gold or osmium is not possible now, fertilizer 2 is a must for me unfortunately 😩

FWIW the stuff we tested with the Giants in Alpha only included watering crops and gathering ripe crops (and putting them in the Plant Pouch for the farmer to retrieve the next day). There will probably be more tasks they can do, but those are the confirmed ones.

This is exactly why I love the game so far, the "grinding" doesn't feel grindy. If they remove coal, hard wood, glass, coal, sugar, coffee from shops, make combat more harder, add monsters in diving (kelp is so easy to grind), less stamina (but progressive) and etc, it would have been a different experience (kinda like stardew valley), altough I wish in the future they could add a "hardcore" mode. Also sprinklers are so easy to craft (which is what i love about the game)
