recoil is basically the gun having a stroke , whenever you fire a gun , usually a fully automatic weapon , there would be alot of vertical pressure on the gun as in the automatically moving up when you're aiming it directly forward .
which is why you have to always pull down the gun in order to counter the recoil . Without recoil every gun would be easy to use .
