serpent wrap has faster ads time vs speed tape, stf con isn't really an issue if you know how to cancel it

tac stock vs bandit stock
bandit stock has faster strafe and reduces stf delay, hipfire con kinda doesn't matter for ars since you're most likely adsed in most of your engagements

agency supp vs bo foregrip
agency supp suppresses your gun and reduces your vert recoil (which is kinda important for a high climb weapon like ffar)

bo foregrip isn't bad but ffar's horizontal recoil can be countered by slightly tugging towards the left

i'vs seen how people come to conclusions whether or not a gun is good or bad when it comes to a weapon's practical use

i strongly believe that (ideally) everyone should drop the pretense that an ideal player exists when it comes to recoil control, aim, tracking and whatnot
people need to accept that such a player doesn't exist, and we shouldn't refer to them when it comes to justifying claims

i understand that there are times when a player achieves two headshots in a row, or has complete control in tracking an enemy, but again it isn't quite “fair” to say, “just aim chest,” “don't hit legs,” or “just control recoil” since there's definitely going to be situations where your aim isn't particularly great in a given match

as well as what builds/attachments one should use, its great that there's builds for general use—not particularly excelling at a single playstyle but trying to cater to all of them at once, but there comes a point where certain playstyles and (possibly) restrictions need to be considered

gunsmithing, in my opinion, isn't just giving someone a build when in need, but actually understanding what attachments work best given the circumstances—a few examples in mind would be someone asking what build is good if their gun is only level X, or what build to use if X attachment is banned in a match

@strong monolith pretty much made the build, i didn't have a build in mind when rogue released

realized range boosting was irrelevant considering the gun can one tap enemies with db rounds
with range out of the equation, you would need to minimize pellet spread to guarantee that when you shoot, multiple pellets will hit your enemy and die from the pellet damage + afterburn damage from db rounds (reasoning behind reliagrip, dragons breath, and gran)
then came muzzles, marauder was considered since it was the usual all around muzzle for shotguns—but it came with a -5% movement speed con, realized that it wasn't worth sacrificing walk + sprint speed for suppression

tactical suppressor, merc foregrip, agile stock, fast reload mag, and polymer grip tape
using merc foregrip but not agile stock is not the best idea since the foregrip doesn't help with strafe as much as agile stock does.

like strafe speed at minimum shld just be a point where u can jiggle peek

cuz eventually too much strafe can b bad

wont help you with rotating to other points in the map
n eventually u have to exert more effort to counteract the fast strafe

will lead to the enemy missing more often yes but will also cause you to miss aswell

gri's analysis is purely on paper comparisons only

i'm not sure if you're familiar with this story but
he ranked RAAL on release as like a top 3 LMG or so

mind you RAAL's bv was bugged back then so it was practically the worst LMG you could use at the time

you would at least think some playtesting is involved from a decent analysis of a weapon's performance

not the type of person you would want to look up to

what he does is comparable if you just asked an AI to rank shit for you (given that you provide the stats to it)

no practical testing, just comparing numbers with arbitrarily set weightages
