just use what feels good to you. There are 2 general types of reticles:

1. The super clean ones like the default red dot, the blue dot or pinpoint
2. A really blunt one like the default red circle reticle for tac scopes.

I personally like blunt reticles because it's seems easier to aim bluntly than to aim super sharp, but most people prefer sharper cleaner ones. But yeah, really up to you
