To improve, you gotta do a few things.

1. Adjust sensitivity- this could be a contributing factor with regards to why you find sniping difficult. Lower sensitivity for snipers is better.
2. Change your hud(optional)
3. Watch some videos on YouTube about spawns and map control
4. Practice on the practice map/ training ground and also practice in free for all matches and ranked too
