If there's a draw and there are items you own you get the CP back if you pull those as duplicates. That's why I sometimes do those double leggy draws because you can get a legendary for 30cp and if you get something you own for 1000cp you get this amount back

For me it's also hard and the matchmaking sucks to be honest. For example I needed to play at least 100 games to reach legendary this season. Sometimes I need less but some other times more. But ranked solo is indeed stressful
