uh no not necessarily, echo is a very crucial unit for phys because of what she provides even though her partners outclass in her in damage. for DF i don't think we know much as of yet so thats subject to change when people actually start testing the teams. wata is bis fire tank. cw got powercrept with nanami and in terms of meta using her isn't really beneficial unless very high investment

mostly everything on that list is a safe "investment" though. as a new player you'll have to think about who you're hypertuning and stuff but you can worry about that later on
