Hey metin2 team ? Could you give me permission to ban bots ? I'm guaranteed I could do 100% better job than you guys do. Or is it the intention to let bots exist so Dragon Coins can raise their prices due to bots. That way, people would be more incentivised in spending real money in exchange for Yang/Won? I changed and paid 15 bucks to play in Ruby servers and it's infested with bots. That from Iberia is a step up at least as I couldn't even kill 1 mob in city2. How is it possible that a game that exists so long has this problem. Create a Claude Api and tell him to fix your game. I'm sure it will do a better job than you ever did. That or I want my money back. I really enjoy this game but the way you all handle this is really really bad. And now just that I remember the private servers ban wave just because they did a better job than the original team. How bad can you guys do things so that is an option. Hi everyone,
I’m having a really annoying problem with my Metin2 client and I hope someone can help me fix it.

Every time I close the client, shut down my PC, or try to restart the game by reopening the client, I get an error window (screenshot attached). After that, the game no longer starts correctly.

The only way I can play again is by completely uninstalling Metin2 and reinstalling it every single time, which is obviously very frustrating.

Has anyone experienced the same issue before?
Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to permanently fix it?

I would really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Hey, Gameforge team! Aren't you even a little bit ashamed of how this game looks? Bakra, Bokjung, Yayang, and the Desert are completely unplayable—every single spot on the map is swarming with bots using hacks that can wipe out half the map in one hit. I don’t know about other servers, but on the CZ server Fenix, this is how it looks. What good is an event to me if I can’t even kill mobs to collect cards? I can’t even gain XP or earn Yang. It’s a disgrace how you neglect the game and tolerate this garbage 🙂 As long as the Dragon Coins are rolling into IS, right?

Gameforge really needs to finally address the botting problem. The game is becoming unplayable because of it, and it’s extremely frustrating to pay for a game or spend money on it and still not be able to enjoy it properly. This issue has been going on for far too long, and it seriously hurts the player experience. Please take stronger action against botters and protect the game for the actual players.

He insults people non-stop, makes up malicious claims, and is literally flooding the global chat with his toxic hate. The problem isn't that the acquired cards can still be used to play in the mini-game. You've misunderstood. King cards can still be dropped. According to the event calendar published on the TR forum:
King card drop end: 24.05.2026 at 23:59 (CEST)
Event end: 25.05.2026 at 23:59 (CEST)
And the current date: 25 May 2026 01:57 (CEST)
Despite this, King cards can still be obtained from monsters. I'm sure there's a problem here and not satisfied with your explanation.

It's not permitted but there are too many of them for the GM's to do any meaningful difference unfortunately. As it stands, and unless GF take unlikely drastic measures, this is what is possible. Some days it's possible to grind, some days it's not. City 2 is unfortunately 99% of the time covered with bots. You can lvl up with quests and metins until lvl 40 and the demon tower is always bot free. After that spiders 1,2 and 3 are sometimes free of bots, sometimes not. In my experience the beginning was worse, now it's a little better at times.

I wouldn't classify this game worth playing or in a playable state. The game you knew from years ago is just a shell, community is not big and people keep to themselves, no group farming unless they're levelling their own alts. This is also due to the OP alchemy system which makes large groups of people inefficient if they can do it on their own. Prices are wild due to won sellers as well but it's relatively faster to lvl up. Economy for certain items are controlled by the bots, events are ruined by the bots for the most part. Enjoy it for the nostalgia but don't expect the same experience.

Hi! Does anyone know for sure if Concentrated Reading drops from the level 70 metin on the 7th floor of Demon Tower during the event?

I’m looking for a confirmed answer, preferably from someone who has tested it there or from a GM. Does the event drop work on that respawning metin, or only on normal map metins/bosses?

that metin has no drop anymore as far as i know

they nerfed it because the farming method was too strong i guess after they invented daily 24/7 events on some servers

Since yesterday, the Sung Ma invasion rewards have been bugged again, and the weekly Sung Ma Tower rewards can't be claimed either. I imagine we won't lose those rewards. Is there any information about this?
