Does anyone know exactly how the point system for the monthly ranking rewards works on the SAPPHIRE servers?

I can’t find the original launch announcement anymore (the thread https://board.ro.metin2.gameforge.com/index.php?thread/94204-serverele-sapphire-acum-live/
seems to have been deleted).

On RUBY, it was clear — depending on the weekly mission, you’d earn one point for the monthly top (for example: killing a boss = 1 point, destroying a metin = 1 point, completing a lord mission = 1 point, and so on).

But on SAPPHIRE, it looks like the weekly missions (metins, bosses, lord missions) don’t give any points at all for the monthly top. The only activities that seem to count are Razador, Nemere, Jotun, and Dragon runs. Meley and Zodiac apparently don’t add points either.

I haven’t found any official explanation of how the monthly top actually works, so if anyone knows more details, I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks!

that will do nothing, it's automated bots and proxy nets vs humans. you can't possibly defeat them without an anti-cheat.
the issue is, the game is very old and so is its architecture. i don't even know they can develop a real anti-cheat at this point

the only real way to prevent hackers is the tigerghost way. It keeps the playerbase high as entry doesn't cost DC and money, but also makes it hard for cheaters to spam accounts

Tigerghost's invite system is the best thing they ever did and should implement it at all times.

cheats are indeed very sophisticated nowdays. most games implement automated behavioral analysis especially for new players/accounts that can flag potential cheaters. but that's a very expensive soution 😄

what I'd recommend to anyone is to move servers. Idk what the rules state, but people move wons around all the time (given it's all done on the official metin2) and they're fine. you're not forced to stay on europe 😄

Trotzdem reagieren Moderatoren bei bestimmten Gruppen stets sofort. Der Spielkoordinator ist praktisch nicht existent und tut absolut nichts. Alle aktuellen Freiwilligen stammen, bis auf eine Ausnahme, aus demselben Land. Der Teammanager und Koordinator Paso arbeitet mit einem System der Vetternwirtschaft und Günstlingswirtschaft.

Es ist sehr wichtig zu verstehen, dass die Gründe für den anhaltenden Niedergang des arabischen Servers nicht mit den Versandkosten zusammenhängen, wie dieses Team es darzustellen versucht. Wenn man bedenkt, dass alle, die zum türkischen Server gewechselt sind, Spieler waren, die häufig große Mengen gekauft haben, während die Verbliebenen selten gekauft haben, liegt das eigentliche Problem in den seit Jahren andauernden, ausnahmslosen Sperrungen von Spielern.

Viele Schwarzmarkthändler und Spieler, die das Spiel ausnutzen und unkontrolliert agieren, werden vom Team selbst unterstützt. Ich kann vielleicht nicht alles beweisen, aber vieles, wenn ich die Administratoren des Spiels erreichen kann.

Auf diesem vernachlässigten Server basieren Sperrungen auf Vetternwirtschaft und persönlichem Gewinnstreben. Bekannte Spieler, die sich nicht den Interessen der Schwarzmarkthändler und der Profiteure dieses riesigen Schwarzmarktes außerhalb des Spiels unterwerfen, werden eliminiert.

Warum findet das Unternehmen nicht mehr ehrliche Freiwillige? Warum wird nicht das gesamte Team ausgetauscht? Der arabische Server stirbt aufgrund dieses Problems; niemand aus der arabischen Welt kann die Spieladministratoren erreichen. Stell dir vor, die Moderatoren des arabischen Servers erfahren von dieser Aussage, dann wirst du gesperrt und niemand wird erfahren, was mit dir passiert ist.

i wouldt say any server is right full with players most are very spread.

tigerghost = 5 years old or smth most are in the endgame
Ruby = very active but most are either far in the game or just started ( equipment marked difficult )
Saphire = many low level farmer for quests late game market seem to be dead
emerald = many players left and spread to other Servers because having a sub for multiple accounts without real benefits beside the 15 day premium shop scks
Onyx = wait it still exists ?

and i think most people play on the old free servers are either there because of friends or because they are so far they dont want to start over

Nyx is full because people either want to profit from it
or want to have their first cl1 char on a preffered server.

Since Saphire is out of the race it will be a race for Ruby Tigerghost and maybe a bit of Emerald

for some its even a new beginning some returned just for it. I would say wait until nyx is over then we should talk whats the most active server

Hi all metin2 players,I am writing because I am suffering from a strange issue. I saw some users online were having it as well.
The game is defaulting to my iGPU instead of the dedicated RTX 4050. I am using a laptop and I have seen that Metin doesn't "play nice" with a gaming laptop that contains a discrete card.
Is there any official fix or solution that you know of and are able to share?

I just found out my character basically sucks, ive invested a few hundred bucks on my sura and now i find out the nerfed it and many argue for no good reason, what is going on? Guys I am lvl 88 on an open german server (Teutonia). I have literally no idea how to make money. Any ideas? The only thing I can do is lvling my main while going on with 2 other accounts which are lvl 30+ and go pickaxe some ores. I would love to know a method to use my main to make money though.

@analog barn you need to find sth you can grind. You can go fishing for yabbie and goldfish all day and make a lot of won. You can farm lvl 90 maps for capes and exp rings. Just find a niche and grind it until you can afford a better method

Bro they literally changed the whole way of fishing in the game to prevent bots from that, but all I see is more fishing bots... More PVE bots and what's worse is that in the AE servers even if you send a ticket against them it doesn't matter because the GM is gonna answer after 5 days and by then new bots would show up.

I am really sometimes on the verge of quitting because of bots. Grotte full of bots, all low level maps full of bots. I want to make ninja but I really dont want to because Iwill have a hard time to level him. They are destroying the market, nothing you farm on low level maps has any worth because of them while the botters are generating thousands of wons. its just sad. I mean it cant really be that hard to make the anti cheat detect the hardcore DPS these bots are putting out. Their DPS is astronomical.
