From what I know, the special ones are more recent and much less afflicted by bots. Of the four special ones tigerghost is the only one free, and it is the most popular, but to enter you need invitation from an influencer, which is why I asked for the code

The premium ones also have advantages like special events and increased exp/yang/drop rate, but I don't know much. Old servers are nowadays bad to start playing because of bots and bad economy

yes thanks for the reply, i received an answer from the support team but they didn't show me any proofs that i used a third party software. This is ridiculous. I agree there are cheaters, however I have to say that there are 6 ch and you always find free spots where to farm.
That being said I think that cheaters are actually helping starting the server because they are getting so many stuff otherwise we couldn't get think about all the items from town 2 and desert the reason there is enough is because those bots are there.
Of course I'm not happy about it, and I would love to see a botless server.

I don't think GM are above avg smart people but you don't need to be one to understand that you can't make 109 levels in 2 days without the chest, without the young heros weapon and without inventory of items you can really use to farm on let's say 95+ maps but also on the 75 level map, no way man

Btw this is the time where is the easet to chck if peopler are cheating or not, just check for their items, no wind resistance, no good bonuses, like i'm pretty sure most of the cheater have +0 items or they don't have any item at all expect for the weapon and armor so yea guys, they just don't care, the server is doing well, cheaters are paying good money to get like double exp, double drop etc so they are happy, end of the story

Remember that Metin is a business, a business need to make money, most of people who complain about bots don't spend money at all on the item shop, while bots who are actually grinding levels are spending some.

I don't agree reaching level 109 is not possible on a brand-new server, you need a full set of item up to level 75 then again from 75 to 95 and once again from 95+.
You need to have a full fire resistence set, then thunder, and the wind.
Have you checked what the market has to offer?

Metin2 evolved, if you guys as you mentioned started playing back in 2008 you know that people had to farm in group at the valley and it was hard to reach level 50, it was taking days, weeks even months for some.
Alchimy changed the game mechanics, what I like about this server is that there isn't made up stuff like young heros weapons or chests, because those items make the experience to be similar of playing a private server.
However what is the point if you can't really do much because you can't find places where to farm, and most importantly, hackers are not powerful because they are higher levels, they are powerful because are wealthy, they will be the first people to obtain certain items which are going to make them rich in game, and not only that, once they will reach their level target they will be the one controlling everything, including the off-game won selling market

We are discussing about how GM aren't really doing much to solve the hackers problem, but guys listen... They don't even ban spammers advrtising won selling websites, something that if somebody of the staff would be online can do in matters of seconds. they just don't care

I'm not sure which promo-code you're referring to but usually you should be able to collect these kind of goodies by opening the itemshop -> click the 3 little dashes on the top right and select Redeem code

Why is it enough to take a screenshot of somebody fishing as evidence to make him ban for fishbot?
This is insane, I used to fish for about 4 hours in total in the past 4 days, about 1 hour a day, because of the golden tuna buff, and every time somebody was approching me I was receiving private messages like "REPORTED", I was thinking that people were making fool of themselves, but it turned out, that the "GAME TEAM" is lazy enough to accept as proof somebody sending a screenshot of somebody else to ban the account.
This is so stupid, why do you allow people to fish if you can get banned with no evidence?
Everytime I received one of those messeged (happened about 3 or 4 times) I always replied to people, I was not hiding myself, I was fishing just next to the fisherman village 1, none of what I did could make even think a GM that the allegation were true.
But here I am, my account banned, while there are people who reached level 110+ in 2 days on the new servers, people selling stacks of 50 yabbies who aren't banned, and cheaters all over the maps.
I opened a ticket, I got 2 very vague replies from one GM and one TM and I asked for proof which were not given to me (because there are no proofs, I know because I haven't used any external software).
I came back playing metin2 after many years, GMs used to be cool people, they were actually caring about their role, there were no cheatrs even if cheats were available, and the number of players where like 100x more with the same amount of GM.
I understand you don't get paid to moderate the game, but if you guys aren't willing to do what you should do, nobody is forcing you to be GM.
You guys ruined a game that we all used to love as a kid! Shame on you!

I wish it was stated somewhere that we can't fish, just remove the feature, I spent real money and time because I bought a fishing book from the itemshop, and I spent a lot ot time to craft a carbon fiber rod.

Players are welcome to continue to play Metin2 as long as they abide by the Terms & Conditions and the Community Guidelines, both of which are agreed to every time you log into the game.

Players who breach these rules irrelevant of how much they have spent on the game are banned according to these rules. I would like to take the time to also remind you to read these rules to prevent future bans.

The game is great, even though the potential is much bigger then it was released yet. The critics against gameforge could have been silenced if they would just provide evidence for their ban-reason. Nobody asks to be unbanned if they have really fouled the rules. We just want transparency.

You can't do anything about it. Gameforge has the right to cancel your account at any time without providing a reason.

There was even a case in Germany where a player took Gameforge to court — and the court ruled in favor of Gameforge. The company was granted what’s known as "virtual domiciliary rights" ("virtuelles Hausrecht"), which means they can suspend or ban any user from their platform at their own discretion.
