Hello! Returning player here. I have an Azrael character maybe someone could give me some insight on Azrael compared to subscription servers and Tigerghost? What are the main differences?

Tigerghost has some special rules like no normal yang drops only yang bombs therefore you get more yang out of mobs but also I think third hand might not work to pickup yang bombs so can't autohunt for yang, also many streamers get free DC every month so they create many items they can also sell in bazar for cheaper too, I don't know for sure

Emerald subscription has different fixed boss spawns for easier boss hunting and tons of quests to give advantages, boosts etc.

Ruby is most similar to Azrael I would say, less HP on mobs like Tigerghost and Emerald and few quests to have easier stuff and more events, I think Ruby and Azrael is about the same server rules

Then all normal servers Europe/Teutonia/Germania/Iberia/Italia or other region ones oldschool hard grind with no special permanent events but still many events, and normal HP on mobs etc. overall more difficult to progress but also most long lasting economy and many servers with many players between which you can transfer and play and create as many accounts as you like for free to store more items for example even though item shop use is sometimes necessary

Hello friends, after years I want to start playing Metin2 again, and I'm trying to decide between playing a Mental Warrior, Dragon Shaman, or Weapon Sura on the upcoming Onyx server. For me, the main focus is PVM, and I have never gone beyond level 95 before.

I want to be able to farm well in all leveling areas. What are the advantages of these characters in PVM? Is it possible that the Mental Warrior and Shaman might not deal enough damage? Still, I would prefer to play one of these two instead of a Sura because I've always played Sura, but I'm undecided.

For me, it's important to be able to farm well at higher levels, especially on 90+ maps, and to solo farm bosses like Razador.

Mental warrior and dragon shaman are really bad pvm in old maps, for yohara mental warrior is Good from what I've Heard and also healer shaman from what I've Heard
Would really advice against starting with one of them
Personally the only 2 characters i would recommend for old maps to start are body warrior or weapon sura, then you can switch to ninja for hydra or meley or switch to another char for yohara although body warrior and weapon sura would do well in yohara
Warrior is good for meley and hydra whether it's body or mental but starting with mental will be really difficult

If i was in your situation i would continue with the lvl90 sura, you can do jotun with that at lvl105 with good items, which you can buy with money farmed doing shards in a few months playing

shaman is the most costly character. But if you watch youtube videos/twitch streams, most of the streamers play shaman for bosses. So you can play shaman and at high levels it's still worth it.

ninja is also good. Without any horse he still has high damage. There was a video on Youtube showing 10 seconds 30 seconds damage differences between characters. And basically, without the horse the ninja has more damage than in warrior

Hello everyone, I'll be playing on the Onyx server and would like to ask for advice from experienced players on the best way to approach this special server.

Should I lvl up to 105 and stay 105 to farm the events ? ( will it be possible with mental ? I plan to use either mental or weap sura )
Was it easy to make the zodiac weapon for those who reached lvl 105 first ? how did they do it ? How much money I need to load in order to achieve such result ?
If I make it to lvl 120 first ( either weap sura or mental ), what's next ? what's the build I need to make in order to success hydra for champion ?

You can still use posion sword in 105, thats ok. And you can stay in the 105 if you want to farm on dragon. Otherwise you can lvl up to 113/115 to wear new beta items.
In emerald servers, you can find bosses with 5 min spawn time in several maps between 20.00-24.00 CET. So no need to have to much item or defecense, you can kill the bosses with some other peoples and you can get 2/3 chests easily

Forgot to tell metin farm. if you want to farm metin easily without having to much wind items in beta maps, you can stay in the 105. But probably boss chests will be more meaningful to farm. it's up to you

Are you playing on desktop or laptop?

If its desktop just disable iGPU in bios settings cause its probably useless

Or if its laptop u have to check your GPU settings and power Management

Metin2 is not even running on directx9, and its problematic for newer gpus to run this game.

Set it as a main screen
Restart windows
Make sure your gf client is on the external screen and all settings are set for metin to use dedicated gpu
Run metin and check
After it even when you unplug external screen, metin should run normally with your gpu
