Asbestos isn’t even really that good for 5*, she sees use in 5* defendernights as the only consistent 5* defender that hits air with aoe, czerny does too but only at the end of his s2, that’s about it for her, shalem does far far more damage with better cycles and res shred, even more so with his module now, czerny is better for tanking and dealing arts, and if you need arts tanking, bassline exists. If she’s specifically and consistently being hit by arts her skill cycles aren’t that bad, but enemies that use arts typically have good res so she’s not the best in those situations, and even then you’d rather use czerny. Her damage isn’t really the best either and so she ends up not really excelling at anything,

While they perform fundamentally different roles, Saria provides more utility than him and thus is way more valuable.
Both are quite replaceable, difference being thorns is gonna provide way less

Personally i'd get Thorns just so you have another DPS
The next worthy pull is about 2 months from now, so you won't really have that many DPS to work with in the mean time. Saria doesn't really do that much anyway
