• mod x has initial drone dmg+ which helps in clearing waves of mods faster and the explosion dmg is a nice dmg boost
• mod y has higher ceiling but it requires many more hits than mod x to overcome the dmg, usable in a single target context. Also more res shred is comfy but cost too much overall, at most mod2

overall, you should have better priorities than GG mods
