In this case, Thorns has a best skill, skill 3. It is locked behind e2, promotion 2.

Reed alter is a dps. A really good DPS. Treat her as such. Her healing is dependent on how much damage she is doing.

Her s2 does have a combo for insane burst healing. If you trap an enemy between two operators Reed alters s2 damage doubles. Which means her healing also doubles. Unless enemies can one-shot your operators, they are effectively immortal during this duration as long as the enemy lives and is taking damage. S2 used this was is also some of the highest single target arts damage in the game.

Its very funny to drop Surtr and Texas alter s2 and then use Reed alter s2 on them. Though its really overkill

Depends on how many youre building?

If youre only building every new 6 star gacha you get then no. Youre resources will keep up. If you do that and also build various niches, 5 stars, 4 stars then yes. The new operators outpaced your resources.

New players will have like a year period though where they constantly run out. Because it turns out building potentially twelve 6 stars at the same time for a full squad is preety expensive.

But it evens out in the long run

But not so much for niches. Some players might rate these operators for general play. But how good they are there isnt necessarily how important they are in a specific niche.

So for a lot of niches, if you want to invest resources wisely, it comes down to you personally testing out operators to figure out how good they are.

A lot of friends makes that easier to do by having a lot of options

Silverash also holds up extremely well post module. Needs e2 though. Hes great helidrop option

Ela and Reed are still really strong.

If you dont have Shu (and I wouldnt recommend spending 300 pulls to get her next year), Saria is absolutely amazing and will probably be a mainstay. Healing defenders are just a goated archetype. Use s1 for Saria in general content.

Chen alter is no longer the monster she was considered as in the past. But still a solid 6 star.

Kaltsit has true damage. So always good to have as an option. Nightingale negates art damage. Also always good (unless you get Haruka).

Siege is mid as hell and Hellagur isnt great. Saga is just better Siege but still not usually needed tbh.

Thorns is a great afk option if youre lazy. Ifrit can also be a solid afk option against hordes of enemies.

Eyja still has surprisingly high arts nuke with s3. Her numbers are solid even if shes been powercrept. And once again good afk with s2

Narantuya is strong. More of a modern operator. Not broken though. Decent survivability for a ranged operator and very good dps against low defence

By referring to the pins you already decided on what information they will get, they get the good information because it's updated strat

I had a question about the Annihilation mode and the Annihilation simulation missions - I recently cleared out the current Annihilation Mission for the orundum and that gave me the confidence to look and try the other Annihilation stages. My main question is this - can the Annihilation simulation missions become/return to become the main Annihilation stage (therefore making me want to try and clear the stages without supports for a total proxy clear later on)? Or am I free to use supports to clear the stages and forget about them later on?

And looks like you dont have that many better options.

• For general content with low arts threats. Sussuro and Silence have her beat in my experience. But not by enough to actually matter that much.

• So for now I dont see an issue with you sticking to Nightingale. She will be fine.

• I do also want to point out healers get less and less needed the stronger your squad gets.

• For a lot of my squads I dont even run a dedicated healer. And at best run a single healer. You're not quite there yet.

• You could get by running utility healer skipping on pure healers. Like relying on Ulpianus self sustain. Saria tanking + healing + supporting. Warfarin buffing + healing. Reed alter dps and damaging. And kaltsit kind of contributing

• None of those are pure healers. But when put together in the same squad they should more than cover your needs . And they each contribute something more than just pure healing. Which is important

• Magallan for one. Unless youre about to big brain every stage invest in better options.

• Shining is mid as hell. If you need a strong healer build Sussuro. Way cheaper.

• Lappland is mid when silence isnt required. Not terrible and she useable. But you probably have a better option.

• Probably focus on building some strong 4 stars instead of suboptimal 5 star or 6 stars like Miksaparato or Whispearin (unless you like them pfcourse. This is just meta answer). 6 stars way more expensive to build, dont throw resources away. Cuora can do the job of Miksaparato for example.

• Meteor is also bad. Build May or Caper or Totter from 4 star snipers. Or Kroos alter from event side stories when you finish that for a 5 star sniper

• Courier is better than scavenger overall. But both are mid. Beanstalk is way better

Speaking of perfumer for 4 star clears Ive discovered she has some great synergy with Contrail another goated 4 star.

Since contrail spends 66% of the time effectively invisible to like most of the game she doesnt often need a dedicated medic and can be placed anywhere flexibly.

Perfumers minor global sustain can be enough

Its a preety fun synergy. She just takes off when injured and heals everything back

Also use your own judgement.

You're either looking for massive improvements in damage numbers. (Use math. For example going from 80% atk buff to 100% atk buff is an 11% dps improvement.). Usually there wont be massive damage breakpoints so the rest of this list is the make or break.

Or youre looking at sp cost reductions if its a low sp cost skill. For example going from 5 sp cost to 4 sp cost is a massive 25% improvement in skill usage. Thats always worth it. 3 cost to 2 cost is 50%.

Or longer skill duration. For example 25 secs to 30 secs is a 20% total skill damage improvement

Or other qualitative changes. For example going from 2 charges of a skill to 3. Going from 10 secs to first skill to 5 sec for helidrop. Going from 2 targets on skill to 3. Etc

Over time you get the hang of whats considered a great breakpoint and what's mid.

It just makes sense. Unless the skill is super complicated

You can also combine different improvements to get total improvement.

For example is a skill goes from 25 secs to 30 secs and from 120% dmg modifier to 130% modifier.

Individually that's a 20% improvement and a 8.3% improvement.

Multiplied together you get a 30% total improvement

Honestly I recommend saria for long term play (if you dont have shu. I would never recommend spending 300 pulls to get an operator).

We get SOOOO many broken dps these days. Is it even a question that new players will soon get whatever new broken dps to fill their dps needs?

Utility or defensive operators on the other hand have significantly slower pace of release and powercreep.

Saria holds up to this day if you dont have Shu who is limited.
