Week 4 of Kanto CS: What comes after Gen 6? Gen 5, of course! Why yes, I did struggle in math, how did you know? Coming in hot is Unova, and of course, with Unova contains the very fashionable Elesa to the rescue. So in a way, this is also a week that features clears from the fashionista herself.

Lance leads us to the first battle, the battle between the heart of dragons. In this case, Iris has the heart of the dragons and the fashionista! Lance cannot stand a chance.

Lorelei on the second round, already putting pressure. I wanted to clear with Marshal but my current Unova supports can't support Marshal sadly, so gonna have to cheese with Anni Skyla.

And the most difficult battle of this week, Agatha. She really is hard to beat with me trying so many teams for her, Shauntal included. But thankfully, the team of truth manages to beat down the spectre that is Agatha.

Back to bearable land, Bruno got taken down quickly thanks to the support of her predecessor. And also Palentine Elesa is there to spam metronome and it worked! ... somewhat! I got Surf and skipped an entire turn of sync! That is enough to douse Bruno's fighting spirit.

Up next, Blue! He might be formidable, but the Nimbasa Trio is even stronger in terms of strength! Elesa and Ingo setting the stage with her debuffs and his zone while Emmet charges a Kamehame— I mean sync to deal a crushing blow to Blue, bet it bugged him quite a lot.

Week 1 of Alola CS: Now this is a CS I haven't played in a while, and looking at the weakness roster. Seems I'm up repping Sinnoh next. The roster I have is fairly decent... so I dread the last three regions I need to do...

Olivia starts us off. She may command rock type pokemon, but what is a rock type pokemon compared to Palmer's continent-moving Regigigas and his attack? Her team's HP dropped down faster than a rock!

Up next, Acerola, the royalty of Alola! Though I doubt she can last long against the might of Cynthia and the current king of the Distortion World! And Fantina saved this run by killing the side after Cynthia unexpected got critted. Talk about a brush with death!

Molyne is up, and his countenance seems chill compared to Adaman and Irida constantly bickering with one another over whether time or space is more important. Thankfully, Dawn managed to pull them both together enough to see through the fight! And also special thanks to the enemy side missing a Rock Slide, too! Would've needed to reset without it.

Teeing off the fourth round of the Alola Elite Four is Kahili. What's this? A similarly cool Elite Four and Clan Leader from Sinnoh has entered the battle as well? Looks like entire battle won't fly by so easily. Irida seemed to take on the bulk of the dps, with Lucian similarly delegated to debuffs until the very end where he fires off a sync to take down the side.

I guess you can see Hau the results will become very apparent. Two legendaries of Sinnoh steamrolled over while protected by a bulky Lucario! It's so nice to the villain and heroes get it together to take down a common foe.

Week 2 of Alola CS: Since Johto remakes are in Gen 4, the same gen as Sinnoh. So they shall be this week's clear. Which to be honest, is quite nice considering that I see my Johto roster lacking.

Acerola rolls up against two dogs and a bird. Karen's newly minted EX is a thank you gift for the queen who has helped me during the early CS clears. She devastates the stage as usual.

Hala is up next... and holy micromanaging batman, trying to queue flinches with Lyra is something else. Meanwhile Jasmine and Whitney are just there bringing the holiday cheer as the poor old man and his team got flinched all the way to Sunday.

Yo Kahili, I heard you like birds. So I brought birds to your bird stage as well to bird up this place. (A bad attempt at a 2012 meme, I know.) Unfortunately, she got burnt out by the two birds that also happens to be a legendary, and also Lyra has a bird too. Meganium is a dinosaur, and birds are a form of dinosaur.

Olivia is up next, and poor Olivia had to endure a suave man and two gym leaders dazzling it up like gemstones and defeating her handily through style... and also overwhelming force.

Last but not least, Kukui stands between us and our victory. As the only protagonist that hadn't taken to the field (who's Ethan?) Kris shows up with dinosaur and a really pretty pokemon, and also dragging along Silver with his own dinosaur for a double Feligatr bonanza. Kukui got washed up in no time. Suicune is just there to set rain since it doesn't buff physical stats.

Week 3 of Alola CS: The second last region to be featured in this quite-long theme that has been going on since the end of September. Featuring Alola! Easily one of the most hardest for me to clear relative to the roster that I have (other than Pasio region clears.)

Two really cool guys face it off at the first Elite Four battle, and it seems Gladion almost lost his cool, but Kiawe was so impressed with his fighting spirit that he simply had to keep Gladion's Sivally in the fight!

Acerola is one of the easier fights, for sure thanks to my type versatility of Electric. Double Hau gave Acerola quite a scare.

Kahili was shot down very easily too. Determined not to let his grandson outshine him, Hala hammered his way through the competition. Easily to the awe of his grandson.

Off-type, my behated. Why must you torture me so? Olivia rolls up next with quite a vendetta against me. With her TM giving me quite a scare with how a crit can easily end my run. Lots of resets and a rock hard determination later, and thus ends the poor kahuna's fight.

Last, but certainly not least. Is Hau himself facing against us. I would be nervous and filled with fear, for Hau has HE-charged Discharge that would make my entire team's defenses laid bare. But thankfully NY Lillie's TM with permanent field effects saved the run, so Anni Lillie can continue the fun!

Week 4 of Alola CS: With Galar as the last region marks the clearing of this entire theme. It was quite a hoot, this one. Thankfully I have a few Galarian sync pairs that are quite broken so it actually went better compared to Alola last week.

Raihan sets the stage by storming Olivia's stage with Marnie and Hop. The poor Elite Four has nothing against their nerves to steel, and thus crumbled quite quickly in the face of their onslaught.

It seems Raihan isn't done yet, as he accompanies Leon and Bede onto the next stage but this time as a support. Kahili might look intimidating as a fighter jet, and JingLeon sets the season cheers so that the opposing team sadly gets iced! Merry Christmas.

Once again, poor Acerola's team gets demolished as in the last few weeks while Marnie and co rolled in like... well, a rolling blackout!

Hala is where I realised my Galar supports are dire, like very dire. I wanted to save Sonia for a double Sonia at the end but Rose is just too darn slow to finish the battle before Hala can destroy my team. Alas, only with Sonia's electrifying speed ups that we're able to destroy the ironclad defenses of Hala fast enough.

Last but not least, a showdown with Kukui! Sonia and Nessa are on a date with fancy outfits while Gloria is just there as— damage support! Kukui was overwhelmed, and from the battle bloomed a victory!

Week 1 of Sinnoh CS: Ah, yes. Hell now in 3k. But unfortunately for you, Sinnoh, I also upgraded my roster to 3k.

NC Red sweep. 'nuff said. Bertha didn't stand a chance. SS Hilda also burned through the battle with Aaron as well.

Poor Lucian, he was not buzzing with excitement when Emmet finished buffing and started to kill everything with Megahorn. They managed to hit despite the maxed evasion though, that always bugged me.

Realising I've been repping Kalos for psychic weak for so many times now, I realised that I should pay my respects to my home Unova and the homie Bianca with busted supports to back her up. Despite that, Flint still hits extremely hard with Fire Blast ugh. Thankfully, we managed to douse his flames.

Despite having SS Serena, I too wish to rep Unova once more by fielding Nate and Iris, with Lucas's cheering along by using Dragon Zone. A very close battle, too! I realised my blunder when Garchomp sets Sandstorm and queued Earthquake. So much damage. 2nd Earthquake took down Iris and Lucas with Nate holding onto by a sliver of health. Like straight out of an anime, Nate managed to take down his opponents with a final attack of his Dark Black Outrage after sync before finally being defeated by the sandstorm damage!

Week 2 of Sinnoh CS: In celebration of finally getting all electric sync pairs this game has to offer, I decided to do 3kCS with only electric units! It'll be a shocker to my system with me using all those off-type team.

Part 1: Going up against Lucian with a fashionably bad post-post sync team which somehow worked.

Lucian can very well end my run with Earthquake, but thankfully Thunder Fang and Tackle's Aggravation made sure it did not come to pass. Even so, I was a little bit gung-ho in choosing the nodes for Master Mode, so it turned to a grueling post sync, where the enemy managed to sync. Sonia's defense debuffs sure came in clutch.

Part 4: A Sandstorm is raging, and in the center of it all is Bertha, and I have no way to dispel it as I don't think there's any elec types that can even set weather. But that's fine, I'll simply take her down with the power of 5/5 Classic Elesa! ... which narrowly ended in defeat and I desperately scrambled to machine gun with Thundershock to try to salvage it.

Final Part: Cynthia graces us with an intense battle at the apex of Sinnoh CS. I actually tried to brute force through Wise Entry x2 she has but I can't seem to get that victory (since I already used Thunderbolt Red by that point, making me need to reset the last 3 battles.) Even with Red himself on the field, I was close to defeat. 3k is no joke.

Iono holds very well as a tank, the healing really came in clutch, as do Elesa with her sync acceleration.

Week 3 of Sinnoh CS: After the somewhat hectic all electric clear last week, I decided to take my time a little and breeze through this week's CS. Even so, some of those stages are oh so infuriating.

Steel weak Bertha, a stage that is many a bane in so many people's runs. Might as well counter this auntie's team with my own uncle team. Despite having good supports, Rose was very close to dying by the end of it. Whew. Not even Marnie's debuffs are able to turn back the tide for long.

Flint bursts into the next scene, fists ablaze while the sun rages on. Fortunately, he's up against Paulo, Diantha and Roxanne who are all formidable in their own right. Diantha and Paulo especially racks up a lot of damage, Roxanne rocks in her own right as a support too.

Time for a support-less run numero uno, baybee. I was actually considering if I should use Skyla, but I reaaaaaally wanna make Santa Skyla work. So why not do that? Unfortunately, Lucian took advantage of my lack of tanking to the extreme, but he did not forsee my flinch cheese. Elesa also came in clutch with her sync acceleration induced from Drill Peck from Metronome. Still managed to die a lot though, so always bring a support if you wanna have a good time.

Aaron got squished by Team Magma and their Alolan guardian deity. More at 11.

Permanent sand? My dragons don't have a way to clear weather?? I'm not using any supports??? What should I do???? Simply kill them before they can take advantage of the weather, of course. Week 4 of Sinnoh CS: It continues! Also deciding to take it easy, I decide to do full on-type teams. Which is honestly the only theme I can manage (that's not the electric clear) with 3k Sinnoh CS.

What do you get when you cross the sun with some beetles? Atomized bugs. Using Team Stat Down 3 with SS Hilda is just a cherry on top with her Downside Up.

I actually want to delay until I can select SS Steven before I want to do this clear, but it's a long and boring day here anyways so why not do it now? Bringing out Lear instead of Olympia for the first time in a while, it seems he held on his own (with his fellow arrogant teammate Bede carrying with buffs.)

Week 5 of Sinnoh CS: I've posted before about this clear as a trial in the previous CS. Thankfully, this one is even more of a breeze. Mostly oweing to my supports hard carrying my DPS.

Flint is up, and he's certainly startled to see Lucian on the opposing team, and alongside Cyrus no less! Lucian really said "nothing personnel kid" as he constantly debuffs Flint while Cyrus nukes everyone with Hydro Pump.

Aaron is up, and sadly. May wasn't able to keep up even with a specially tooled grid for Earth Power. Elesa had to step in with her nuke, so all is good.

The hardest fight when attempting this theme, with Giovanni being SO SQUISHLY. So many retries because they kept using Earthquake and killing Giovanni everytime he syncs. Even with goddamn Bluedos on the field. Thankfully, after all the trouble, we persevered. Then we got scared about the sides started to use AoE moves and Giovanni was at death's doorstep.

Bertha is up next, and note to self. Bring a speed booster because this team is so damn slow 😭 What's even more surprising that the sides' AoE once Bertha goes down kept missing Giovanni so many times. Truly this is how mafia works, by evading everything.

I expected Cynthia to be as hard of a battle as Lucian with the accuracy debuff. But then I see Solgaleo buffs accuracy and easily deals upwards to 8000 damage per hit to Cynthia and brought her down very easily, so... yeah.

A year ago, if you said that I'd be able to clear CS with ease using my electric supports with ease, I'd question your sanity. But it seems Iono and Blue both had something to say about that. (Elesa is only there for debuffs like the debuff queen she is. )

Glacia? More like Glaciyawn. With my fire sync pairs, her team got iced pretty quickly.

Bird gaming again. I love OP pairs! And also I realised the NC Kantrio lined up perfectly too despite me not meaning to do so. An unintentional win. Chase is also there to learn from his senior, truly the entire circus comes in handy.

My fairy situation is a bit more dire though, so Sidney easily was the stage I had most tries sinking on. If I saved Blue for this stage, I would've been safe... but alas, the hubris got better of me. Eventually though, I got better of him — through Jasmine's grid retooling.

Last but not least, I invited Wallace to touch grass. Never stood a chance. Kinda fumbled a lot on the flinch chains though...
