you need to have some luck with flinches but by the end she nukes the entire 3rd bar

I actually don't mind the fast RNG-heavy solos bc they're easy to retry many times vs. the slow solos that take 10-15 mins and are soul-destroying when you're ❌ 'd late in the 3rd bar

Best unit I'd never used before: Plumeria, queen of flinch and poison
Worst unit I'd never used before: Lodge May, she of the paper-thin defences
Most fun duo: Zerena and Calem vs. Uxie, because it was so satisfying to see them just annihilate the damn thing
Least fun duo: Mix Red and Roxanne vs Bulu, this solo was nowhere near as easy as you 5/5 Mix Red havers lead me to believe and I had to add her to help him
Best surprise learning: SSTR's B-move ignores damage-reducing passives! Loved learning that after owning him for over a year
Worst surprise learning: Using Protect won't stop you being trapped, thanks Entei
Biggest overkill moment: Cerena demolished Entei so quickly by herself that it genuinely felt unfair, can you go lower than a solo?
Most satisfying win: Completing the Emma solo against Bulu
Special Award for the Biggest 'Fuck You' from Uxie: Giving my SSAC the useless-everywhere-else Witty Hit 2 LS and attempting the 15-minute long solo multiple times, only to fail to complete it

I could not have gotten anywhere NEAR 70 clears if it wasn't for all of the free advice available, down to the exact recommended duos for each LG and I just. it's genuinely mind-blowing

LG does provide better planning opportunities than HS though because you can replay legendary arena at any time? We know HS stage gimmicks and sure you can plan your teams now but everything is still hypothetical

HS doesn't let you plan like LG but you also have to plan wayyyyyyy less

for LG you gotta plan 100+ clears (150+ if it's an easy LG) if you want to go far

i think i can consider this in the future when i aim much higher than 50 clears. as-is i still had a lot of ex supports techs and strikes that i just didn’t get to so i was conserving for no reason
