Okay, ever since their update for their Day and Night cycle (mostly for Night due to it being too dark), my game constantly crashes whenever I open the Dragon info bar. This pops up after I open it.
Before the update everything was fine and chill. And now I keep on crashing every time I open it. There are no launch options since its automatically plays on dx12 (before the update there were no launch options either, i played the game normally)

Before the night update I played just fine.

Although.
I did uninstall my game to move it to my D: disk, thats when the stuff started too. And then I moved it back to C: disk and its still happening.

But that does not matter as probably other people too, such as my friend also have the situation of crashing.

After the patch, I tried both -dx11 and -vulkan and without the launch options (originally its set for -dx12) and the same issue happens.

-dx12: Crashes whenever I open the Dragon Information Bar (i)
-dx11: Crashes whenever I open the Dragon Information Bar (i)
-vulkan: I do not crash whenever I open the Dragon Information Bar (i) but the whole maps colour is messed up, as shown in the earlier image.

Note to self for anyone who goes into bacon's shrine. The cave is still there, bacon is not there, and most importantly? The portal does not work. You will fall straight through the floor XD

If you do fall, you will eventually be spat back up with very low health

I was able to fix mine completely

Idk if anyone else does, but I play Fortnite as well, and there was a problem with the texture there, and it popped up “download nidiva” it was like a different part to it, and after downloading it all of my games were fixed

And I have a laptop, and was told I had integrated graphics, but was still able to fix mine. So it’s possible !! Definitely keep trying

fair warning tho even if u have nvidia some ppl havent been able to rlly play on 1.0 map bc ue5 is probably not like be able to be handled on the pc but others who do have good like cpu or graphic cards werent able to play either

well good news, i suppose, i'm finally able to play on the lowspec...but since hardly anybody is on it (much like Legacy now, unfortunately) looks like i'll be taking a bit of a break from DoD until those of us with decent/newer systems can play the new 1.0 game.....kinda feel let down since i've paid a lot of money to be a PT and play and watch the game grow but now I can't be involved any further than legacy or the lowspec (even though my computer is more than capable to play the 1.0)

Okayyy i cant get on any other versions anymore only lowbranch. If i try go to legacy or none or the testing version it says my computer doesnt support dx12 even tho it does XD and when i try -dx12 and -d3x12 it doesnt work🥲

there are 2 versions of dx12, dx12 sm5 and dx12 sm6, sm6 is gtx 960 / amd vega 64 or newer

idk why im not able to get on other versions now i have always been able to even try them and i played legacy like before the lowspec and neeeeever had any problems same with the like orginal dod before this new update. This is totally new to me idk why its not saying this

I just selected the auto graphics settings then tried to join the server and it took awhile but eventually sent me back to the menu then I restarted my game and I was able to join in on the server pretty quick

The gray map I loaded in no problem since of course there’s nothing really to load but for the forest sv map I set all my graphics to the lowest

No idea then, I wasn’t even sure I was going to be able to join the test branch well start the game up atleast without it crashing or getting an error

I don't really see much fixes to the lowspec after this update.

But here's my update on whats happening at the moment.
Before the update I couldn't play the game normally due to me crashing each time I opened the Dragon Info Bar, it sent me out a error: SHOWN ON THE IMAGE

Now, after this update that had been released just a few minutes ago, whenever I open up my Dragon Bar my game freezes but the error does not come up.

When I got into the test server, and got into the game it would only work for a little bit and then would crash, like your error that came up and some times when I got to the selection area it would crash on the pc downstairs

For me it happens in the lowspec, whenever I enter the game I play normally and fine. I play the game just fine but whenever I open the Dragon Info bar the game just freezes.
Before the latest patch for lowspec whenever I opened the Dragon Info bar THAT error opened up, but now after the latest patch for lowspec when I open the dragon info bar the game just freezes thats all, no error. I have to force close it on Steam.

in 1.0.1 we won't need LOWSPEC any longer, 1.0.1 will support DX11/DX12 and Vulkan again.

so there will not be any more updates to LOWSPEC, it will be deprecated now that we have figured out how to merge it back to main

We're supposed to get a dx11 and dx12 update for the 1.0 game I think. Not 100% sure though.

you could try switching game version to "lowspec" but with the incoming update this will be fixed and you will not need that version

It will be fixed next update, which is the 1.0.1 update.
There is no confirmed date at the moment, but if you manage to play Lowspec or play Dragons Legacy then you'll surely manage to play the 1.0.1.
The DX12 UE5 will be removed and from what I heard it will be supported by DX11, which I think is Lowspec and Dragons Legacy but I am not 100% sure.
