Hey folks! Just a very smol heads up that there should be a new build released in the next 10-20 minutes, but I won't be able to share an update post just yet.

There will probably not be a ton of changes. However, Android and iOS devices may continue to experience a high rate of crashes with this build. Because, beta.

I'll share a beta-known-issues post when I can, but please keep this in mind as you venture forth with your bug nets!

i haven’t tried out the update yet. but what if since the gratitude spirits are in radiance, we got an alt style of the gratitude cosmetics? like we can’t dye the main colors of the gratitude masks, so what if red/orange is ’s thing and some other colored version of the masks is for ? and you wouldn’t be able to dye the radiance version to look like gratitude and vice versa

But you see, the only parts of the seasonal cosmetics that are dyeable are the areas surrounded by the patterns, but the patterns themselves remain undyed because these are made of wax. Typically the batik makers would outline patterns with wax, and then colour in the surrounding areas with paintbrush.

The act of adding wax outlines is called canting. We use special tool for that to hold the hot wax while drawing

They don't have time, their location can vary and if you leave and enter the area they change places (but you can't get dye twice from them) and yes, you can get it apart from the quests

Once you have done the 3 quests you can find the plants in the main areas of Prairie, Forest and Wasteland (they don't seem to spawn in most of the seasonal areas)

Yeah! The owl hair. Then this ts item confusion would've been worse if the spirits are copied from past season to the new and different season

Also one of those spirits had the bald tattoo right? It's hard to see with the large mask covering our typical view of their heads. It's gonna add up to the confusion too

I hope that these spirits would be further polished to make them more visually distinct from og gratitude spirits

I will say with the switching dyes, it seems to only affect clothes you are currently wearing when you end your play session (whether through crash or logging off) I had a dyed cape that was completely unaffected by this because I wasn't wearing it.

"A main problem I have with this update is the number of colored dark plants currently in sky. I don't find any sort of lore-related reason as to why this might be, and the obtrusiveness of all of these multicolored plants seems out of place in almost all the environments. I suggest normalizing the colored dark plants to only one color per growth, and tucking them away from typical game-progression, as it might confuse newer players.
One way I can see this done is to connect the coloration of colored plants to the colored lights from Season of Enchantment and situate them within their corresponding areas. This would also provide a reason as to why some dark plants are colored. Thus, it would also make sense to get pigments from the Season of Enchantment lights themselves, which would make collecting pigments."

the loading screen change was only one of the recent beta updates. the beta patch that added the nest as starting point didnt include a nest loading screen, just like it is in live :3 nest loading screen will come with new season/fortune patch iirc

The spirits are scattered around aviary with empty spirit trees atm. Pretty sure their cosmetics would come in future builds. Testers can get them as a bundle from the candle shop (settings>shop) in this build.

Not a tester, but from what I've read here people usually burn the plants, collect the colors, leave the server and come back later and if they're luck enough they find black or white dyes

Yep but only in very limited variants. The white is used for mourning and funerals, and red is stricted for military officials. Those 3 variants is what I can find about the Gat

Personally I feel the same, since dye isn't connected with currency it doesn't feel like it could be exploited in the same way, people can spend as much time as they like to collect dye and I've found it really fun going through the realms, the rotations helped with repetition, but there's probably things I haven't considered as to why it would be lower speed and capped
