pOreo I can’t post messages! What’s going on? pOreo
If you attempt to chat in a channel, you will receive a prompt to "complete steps." Once selected, you will be brought to the rules page where you will need to mark that you have read and agree to the rules of the server. Your Discord account will need to be verified with Discord by use of a phone number. If you experience any troubles with verifying by phone, you will need to contact Discord support directly. https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us

pOreo I need help! Can someone help me with a problem I’m having with the game? pOreo
If you can’t access the game to submit a Support ticket, you can use our Customer Support webpage here: http://bit.ly/skygamecs
Please note that we cannot assist with account issues on Discord. Please use the Support link provided if you need help with things like purchases, currency, or account recovery.

We also have FAQ pages for commonly asked questions, known issues, and patch notes. You can find them here: https://thatgamecompany.helpshift.com/a/sky-children-of-the-light/?p=all&l=en

If you need another player to help you do group content, head to #looking-for-group-live to see if anyone is online and able to help.

If you’re new and need tips or help getting started, head over to #questions-and-help, where other players are always more than happy to answer questions or give advice.

If you have questions about the latest season, head over to #seasons-events-chat.

Check the pins in any channel for helpful tips, links, and images.

pOreo How do I share bugs I experience in-game? pOreo
There are currently three ways to share bugs with us:

  1. Follow the instructions in #🐛submit-bugs-and-feedback. Our lovely @snow pulsar will DM you a series of questions about your bug and then will publish your answers in the appropriate channel. We encourage you to browse the existing reports to get a feel for the kind of information we are looking for.
  2. Through the in-game Support menu.
  3. In our Official Sky: Children of the Light Community group on Facebook.

Submitting a bug report is not a substitute for contacting Customer Support if you are missing items or currency. We don’t have the tools in Discord to assist in these matters, so if you need account help, please contact our Support team here: http://bit.ly/skygamecs

pOreo What happens to my bug report once it’s published? pOreo
Each day we gather your reports and forward them to our QA team, who then assigns the bugs to the rest of the development team to fix.

All other roles: Check out the #roles channel to add a little flair to your profile!

pOreo What is the Community Shepherd Program? Can I become a Shepherd or Mod? pOreo
Community Shepherds and Moderators are Sky players and community members who have generously volunteered their time and effort around the server in various ways. They greet new members, answer questions, direct folks to appropriate channels, communicate with Community Elders (Moderators) and thatgamecompany Community Devs, and generally bring positivity and inclusion to the space. Shepherds and Community Elders (Mods) help keep the server running smoothly and help us stay in touch with the community as a whole.

These roles are given by TGC to members of the community who distinguish themselves with kindness and maturity. It is a sign of the trust and friendship we feel for the entire community, and reflects the values we see as most helpful in the game, the community, and the world at large.

The Shepherd role is not a sign of status or rank, and is not something to be earned by extending extra effort or keeping score. But more importantly, even though we can't assign the role to all members, all members have the qualities and the potential to share and model kindness and empathy in every part of their daily lives. Bring light to everyone no matter where you go, and we can make the whole world brighter!

Due to the nature of these roles, we don’t accept unsolicited nominations or requests to join—thatgamecompany will periodically reach out to community members to invite them to apply.

pOreo What is the Community Constellation Program? pOreo
Community Constellation is a small program still in development and run by TGC to help offer some support and recognition for unofficial, player-run communities and projects. We think it’s important to acknowledge that, while TGC can offer certain official spaces for Sky kids to gather and stay up-to-date on the latest news, there are all sorts of wonderful, unofficial spaces where players find camaraderie, game information, and a sense of home. Whether it's a regional Discord server where you can speak your native language, infographics to help you complete quests in Sky, or the ever-useful Sky wiki pages, there are so many great communities and resources out there! We look forward to sharing more as this program grows.

pHelloOreo What is the Beta? pHelloOreo
Sky Beta is a private testing environment that TGC uses to test new and existing content. Think of it like a rough draft, where we work with testers to find bugs and receive feedback before content goes into Sky. For more detailed information on how Beta testing works, please read our #beta-faq channel.

pHelloOreo How do I join the Beta to help test? pHelloOreo
Please read our #beta-faq channel and turn on notifications for the #beta-announcements channel. TGC will post there when sign-ups are open, and anyone interested in testing should read and follow all provided instructions.
Please do not DM staff members with requests for Beta access.

pHelloOreo Will I be able to keep my Beta friends and progress in the Live version of the game? pHelloOreo
No, Beta is a testing environment and not part of the real game of Sky.

pHelloOreo Where am I allowed to talk about the Beta on Discord? pHelloOreo
Sky Beta testers are under NDA and discussion about Beta content is restricted to designated Beta channels in the private Beta server only. Do not discuss Beta content in public channels.
